A day in Sydney chasing some caches spur of the moment. I was going to take the kids ice skating for a birthday surprise, but reconsidered in case there were issues Covid related. Ice Skating will keep until another time. So it seemed the perfect opportunity to head up and grab some early caches in this birthday year. The only thing I neglected to consider was how grand an opportunity it was to grab some lighthouses.... (the ones I could reach) ... and Trigs. It wasn't until I have come to log the two that I spotted that I realised there was more that never crossed my mind. I was too focused on what I had to do considering I had left home to begin with later than I wanted to. Oh well, it is what it is. Now I am logging the lighthouse I had a little confusion as to which one was which as this one seemed closer than it actually is. A sat view and and I think I have it sorted as Shark Island lighthouse. I keep kicking myself at every turn wishing I knew about geocaching earlier. I have travelled the harbour so many times and could have captured these lighthouses on the way past captured other things earlier and now that I hardly venture to Sydney it seems a gallant effort to retrace steps from days gone. I'm a country kid through and through, I used to love coming to Sydney as a youngin, and still do at times, but got annoyed when here as it felt like I was always and forever sitting at a red traffic light. I wonder how anyone can live in the city. Admittedly my trip wasn't planned. I guess I have to think smarter and drive better without spending time at lights. But hey, not complaints, we are not Hong Kong or India
I'd be lucky if I moved from the intersection there. Thanks for the lighthouse, I am so pleased to be able to tick it off.

Out for a day on the harbour running yacht races and this enabled us to take a couple of photos while out in between races.
spend a lot of time on random ferries today as I was only interested in the boat/ferry and not where it was going. On my travels saw a lot of virtuals on the water.
