Derby is a small community in the North East of Tasmania.
It was a tin mining area and now one of those mines is a tourist attraction for the small village - it is now known as the Derby Tunnel:
A cache is placed outside the tunnel GCR5QC "tunnel for tin" by Jonno7246. I found it on the 7 Oct 2014 and my log read:
"Hi jonn7264
If I told you the true story of this find you would never stop laughing!! All I will say, there are a lot of mountain bike trails above the tunnel!!
But when I found the right parking spot, it was an easy find and a most enjoyable walk.
Sainted the cache at 1556hrs.
Enjoyed exploring the tunnel too!
