Found Five Traditional Caches in One Day?

Found Five Traditional Caches in One Day? If so tell us about it !

This locationless can be claimed up to two times, once for GC caches and once for GCA caches. Do not mix GC and GCA caches to make up the five. If like me you only log locationless caches once you may list both lots of five in the one log. The caches can be from anywhere in the world.

Please list the Cache Codes, Names, the Date of the finds, and any interesting stories that occured during the finds. Photos of course would be very welcome !

As an example, the first time I found five Trads in one day was just after I started caching and was passing through London on a work trip. On my 'rest' day I found the following caches:

GCW99J Going Underground (not anymore) #2, GCW99A Going Underground (not anymore) #1, GCW99Y Going Underground (not anymore) #4, GC118F6 Gray's Inn: One Arm, Two Mouths, and GC4201 St. Etheldreda's (Central London) - found on 22 November 2007. I may have visited a few Pubs in the area as well that day ;-) The Going Underground (not anymore) series were particularly interesting as they were at old disused Underground (Tube) Stations.

Have Fun !

Logs

In line with amendments made to requirements for listing and finding a Locationess geocache, this geocache has been reviewed and found not be in line with the listing requirements.

https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Locationless_cache
Armchair style Locationless caches where the finder is not required to explore the real world, identify a location and accompany the "Find" with photographic evidence are no longer accepted.
A Locationless cache listing must require the finder to locate an object or perform a task in the real world, collect the co-ordinates and log the find with accompanying photographic evidence.

The geocaching community would like to thank you for listing this Locationess geocache and congratulations to all that found this locationless geocache.

As the geocache no longer meets the requirements we will archive the cache listing.

I have done this plenty of times, especially during trips to megas or on holidays as well as just local caching runs. I was introduced to geocaching on 24 August 2003 and my first 5 trad day was only one week later on 31 August. Back then it wasn't uncommon to drive 200km in a day south of Adelaide for a caching run. The 5 on that day are:

GCC433 Hilly Hideaway
GCCB6F Bytes @ Cox
GCF6C4 A Magnificient Spot
GCG8G6 Circular Swamp
GCGQBG Cox's Hollow

Thanks fitzy_1965.

GC69V3W Gnome Home
GC69Z7Q Mibd the Charcoal!

There was also another cache which we missed and was later confirmed to be missing.

Have qualified for this one multiple times but going with the 28th August 2019 when we found:
GA13147 South Kingscliff Beach
GA13146 H@$t1ngs Po1nt
GA13077 ICEM - Mullumbimby
GA14087 Through the Forest
GA13328 Clarkies
These five GCA caches were found on our caching trip to the "big island" last year. We usually head over every year to escape the Tassie winter. Quite happy to stay home this year though where we are relatively safe from COVID19.
Thanks.

The 1st time I found 5 Trads in 1 day was on 28/03/2005, in my 2nd week of caching,
and they were in Albury NSW, over 125 kms from home and over 15 years ago. Wink
They were -
GCHCAA - Monument
GCHCAB - Noreuil
GCHCG7 - Prime
GCHCGV - Railway
GCHTVZ - 28 Places Past Go
And most of them had been placed in Dec '03 so the Albury cachers were active much earlier than in Wagga.
Thanks for memories and the cache Fitzy,
Roostaman.

Thought I'd take a trip down memory lane for this one and do the first time I found five traditional caches in one day. It was three weeks into my geocaching life (and only joined up as was doing this road trip) and along way from the SW of WA via the Great Central Road and Mereenie Loop to Alice Springs then Oodnadatta Track to Painted Desert and Coober Pedy then down to Wyalla, Port Lincoln and home via the Nullarbor Plain and the back roads between Norseman and Hyden and home, and a lot of places inbetween.
A great 3 week road trip but was a very 'green Newbie' as only knew how to do traditionals. My 5th geofind was on this trip

Spent a couple of days in Coober Pedy and apparently we had the worst storm they had seen in about 30 years (so a couple of locals told us), just our luck.

My five trad finds in one day are for 3 November 2012:
GCPFZ5 - Dog Gone
GC3QH9H - Resting in the Outback
GC2QR2B - The Coober Pedy Experience
GCG1NW - Another Breakaway
GCHCD2 - Noodling

According to Project-GC, I average 5.53 finds per caching day so there's no doubt that I've found at least 5 traditionals in a day on multiple occasions. The first time was on 3 March 2014, just a few weeks after I started geocaching, when I found 8 on the way home after taking Mum to Newcastle Airport for a flight home to Brisbane.

Thanks for creating this locationless cache that helps fill in time while we are forced to hang around the house when we'd sooner be out and about in the open.
