New Zealand's longest running annual caching event is back. Just the same as last year this is an Easter get together near Springs Junction (between ChCh, Nelson and the West Coast), to discuss and enjoy some geocaching. The difference is that this year the event is being run on ANZAC weekend, a couple of weeks after easter, in order to allow those who wish to to attend the Wagga Wagga Mega Event in Australia.

For as long as I can remember this has been where one stops for ice-cream and any other necessities when travelling between Christchurch and Hanmer. The local dairy always did well out of us.

There's now a fairly new children's play area, and lots of space for running around.
