After a day at the zoo and a swim at the hotel, we headed out for some pre-dinner caches. We went for easy to grab roadside type stuff, managing a baker's dozen for the afternoon. We diverted over to Greystanes for this one, and spent a little while explaining to my son about some famous cricketers... like Steve Bradman (yes I washed his mouth out!).... this was a fun trig, it did take a little effort to spot, but not too bad, no drone needed here. while travelling north today I am picking up caches and LGAs. I am zigzagging through the suburbs but it is taking ages to get north. This will be the last for a while. TFTT Geocaching Australia.

28-Dec-19
I found a spot where I could spot this trig. A little tricky. TFTC.

25-Jul-17
Little bit harder to spot as it sits on top or a very big and tall water reservoir, got my shot from the south eastern side

02-Jul-17
Took my photo standing between 32 & 34 Benaud St.

NOTE: I increased difficulty to 2.0 based upon difficulty to grab decent photograph.

27-Aug-16
Not easy to get a picture of this one. Managed to get a picture from Bradman St between the houses.

I don't actively hunt trigs but they sure do come in handy sometimes. This is so close to work, so a quick drive up to this one. It qualifies for challenge 14 during Geosportz 2016. Nice bright red trig on top of the water tower but very difficult to access, due to proximity to residential houses.

09-Dec-15
Came up for the GC cache and to film a storm...this was a bonus, but hard to photograph. Sorry about the blur.

31-Jul-15
Found 11:25pm on my way home. Took some pics but difficult in the dark. Tried a photo from the road, I could see the trig silhouette but the phone camera was not able to really get it. I took another photo of reservoir edge on one side to show being present.

24-May-15
found while on my way to my parents. The trig is very hard to see when the way it is positioned.

#GA419 - 15:05; I suggested to Sol de lune some time back that we should do a day run to Sydney to pick up some of the GCA trigs and caches on offer. A couple of weeks ago we identified an opportunity timing wise and so it was that we made our way north today, collecting a total of 32 trigs for the day. Going by the street names, cricket must be popular in these parts Wink Anyway, as we drove up, we were at a great angle to see the trig and get the money shot/s. A day trip planned with LuckyL10n to start grabbing a few trigs in different areas of Sydney. Hit Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown today...and grabbed a total of 32. Back in a couple of months for another go.

No problems here and the photos were soon grabbed.

21-Feb-15
A quick stop for a photo op on the way to the Prospect park for a picnic.

26-Sep-13
Came for the nearby "Water Tower" cache to fill a calendar day, and spotted the trig as I drove up.

11-Apr-13
13 months unfound. I came here after dark and found a cache nearby, then scouted the area for the Trig. saw it and took the photo, but apart from the GPSr not much can be seen. I was there though Confused

15-Mar-12
Completing caches & trigs & waymarks at the moment is becoming difficult as I finish work at 6am & sunrise is becoming close to quarter to 7, taken many photos from the back of car, this is the best of the bunch, thanks.

22-Oct-11
Found it today with pjmpjm doing the driving duties after the Wolli Creek Event. An easy find of a nice red Trig.

On our day of trigs this was number three and a pretty simple water tank one on a hot day. Benaud (thanks Richie!) Street is the spot and you can get a shot from across the street.

18-Feb-11
I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to get a good angle on this one, and would have to settle for a distant photo. However, as soon as I turned the corner into Benaud Street I could see the red vanes of the trig peeping over the top of the reservoir. A bit of maneuvering and I got a pretty decent photo a relatively close range. Nothing special about this one, I guess. But I do love a red trig!

14-Jan-11
We parked down the back street for a nice, quick drive-by.

29-Dec-10
Could just see it standing on the back of my ute. Dont get too close to the tower and you'll be fine. At least it is red and stands out!

12-Dec-10
*FTF* I assume, or first to log anyway. Got there about 3pm. It's a nice red disk visible from just down the road from the fenced off water tower.

Cheers.
