Finding the way in was the greatest part of this challenge for me. Oh yeah, then I missed the path out again too ... Not too many spiders, and they're all pretty small at the moment. Left Travelling Soldier TB because I thought he might like to keep a lookout across the bay. Nice patch of bush I'd never have found without geocaching. TFTC Just a Trifle.

Yes it really stands out (and tall). Lots of thorns on what looks like bougainvillea but finally got the cache.
Most of the other vegetation appears to have been cleared, certainly no lantana around.

Thanks for the cache.

A nice area to walk through. A local I came across told me the area has a 'history' - several hangings of local aboriginals by their tribe when they lived in the area. And the ghosts of these hanged men are still haunting the area!!!!
Found the cache OK but wasn't haunted - apart from by the mossies. TFTC

I had a pleasant stroll throught this area and along the beach this morning. Nice and sheltered in here despite the 20 knot winds blowing across the bay and whipping up the whitecaps
A short detour off the track and the cache was an easy find. I dropped in the Kozmik Kayshnoid travel bug and also Travel Bug Kooka Burra. The kookaburra should definitely feel at home here for a while with the plentiful birdlife

Found it at about 11:20 today nice walk by the bay pretty easy to find. also found a Silva style compass in the local area.

I navigated to the likely start point and my initial thoughts were that this looked like a great area to explore.
As i made my way down and along the path, i wasn't disappointed... the track is easy going and the surrounds are just lovely. There were lots of birds around and i really liked the walk when it swung around and followed the mangroves.
It was at this point that i started keeping an eye out for a likely GZ. I then looked at the GPS.... What The ? ! ?!
I made my way in the direction indicated and found the cache but not before tangling with lots of rubbish and a man-eating thorn tree! OUCH!!!
I really enjoyed my time in this area until it came time to retrieve the cache. I just wonder if there isn't a nicer place for the cache particulary as it is marked child friendly.
