A very impressive structure indeed!
Lucky it's not soft and gooey in the middle
Contents of cache unfortunately have a closer resemblance to Danish Blue
Cheers

Phew found it. Took two attempts though. Maybe I worked out the coordinates incorrectly from the clues, but a bit of wider search area this time did the trick.

No joy this time. Searched long and hard around GZ, found a few likely hiding spots and a works notice saying that the place is in the Victorian Heritage Register hidden in the grass, but no cache. Still, a fantastic oppurtunity to get up close to such a wonderful structure.

Enjoyed the code nature of the cache. What an inspiring structure considering when it was built. Walk to the top gave great views.

An interesting area full of history. Ancient trees and magnificent engineering. Standing under and looking up really puts the enormity of the constructing in perspective. NINO but we did take the TB to move along. SL TFTC

Probably our easiest find of the day, although GPS led us to the middle of a thorn bush, my ankles have the scars to prove it.

Pretty spectacular structure - the size of those stone blocks! Found in the company of Monch's Mob - the girls left the boys to go through the long grass. We were thinking snake thoughts. Beautiful day for a visit to this area. TNLNSL TFTC.

Had a chat with a couple of rock climbers who'd come to test their skill on the major structure; might've made 2 new converts to geocaching. Nice easy cache to find, although the GPSr's were a bit confused at GZ.

I'm a dill & have marked the Swiss TB Trophy geocoin & Australian Zoo travel bug as being in this cache. They're not. They are nearby in Enchanted Forest. I'm working on sorting this out. Sorry! Mrs Ayzeds

Mrs Ayzeds, flying solo, found this one eventually
The large bluestone & steel structure seemed to play havoc with the GPS, sending me scrambling repeatedly in spiky bushes and totally in the wrong direction. Heading back to my starting point & letting GPS settle then led me right to GZ. Then it was easily found.
Great to see this impressive beast up close.

We were quite stunned by ths large construction which we had not noticed driving the other way along the highway, but it sure grabs you this way. (especially if trying to sus out a cache site). We left the TB as it want to go to the Aus open tennis and we thought taking it to SA might not be a good idea. Took a nosey lady and microwave book in able to fit it in. TFTC

Have driven past this structure hundreds of times, but never examined it up close. It certainly is impressive, I especially enjoyed the old style of steel beams. Much different to the way things are done today!

Wow was the first thing I said as we turned the corner. It is a pity one of the trees is no more in the park, a victim of the recent high winds? Thanks for bringing us here!

An interesting historical edifice much liked by The Swaggies. Collected the info and proceeded to GZ. A search of the area revealed nothing so we called a friend who told us to look elsewhere. Found at 1615.

Strange indeed some of the things, memorials, you find out in the country sometimes. Kind of makes you think along the lines of who gives a rip. No doubt had significance in the past though.
Great bridge but the additional supports look a bit jerry built. Cost constraints had a hand in that I reckon.
Thanks indeed.

A strange out of the way spot for this bit of history, but an interesting story. Spectacular bit of bridge. I'm not quite sure what lead you here (I was expecting an old cheese shop ), but it was a good place to stop.

A nice little restpoint and our last cache for the day.
The clues were gathered from the airconditioned comfort of the car and after a few moments the cache was found, nice and easily.
A wonderful set of stonework can be found at this location and we were fortunate enough to locate the cache in the first place we looked.
Took ladybirds, left dinosaur.

I decided to try for a 1st to find at another cache, and dropped by for this one. Missed out on the FTF, but I'm sure glad that I visited this site.

Took nothing, left a Fozzy card and signed the log.

A quick find, after a quick stop at the starting point. A nice tie together of historical things at this cache. Not carrying any good swaps so left nothing and the only thing we took away where some photographs of the things of historical interest (signed log of course). Thanks Mr & Coffee Clan!

We pulled up here just on dusk on the way to Robinvale to do the fireworks for the Southern 80. It is very strange to find two pieces of history so close together but yet so different. Collected the required information as the last of the sun disappeared and watched the nearby structure take on a totally different view in the light of the moon. Armed with torches we headed off to GZ to find our maths was correct as the gpsr took us directly to the cache .

This one is the second find of Ians Birthday Bash Cache Weekend. It caused us a little bit of strife because the GPS was all over the place - does granite affect GPS signals?
At the cache the GPS said the cache was still 16 metres away.
TN & left a Pig Doll
Thanks for an interesting cache.

Found at 10.05 am GAFF1. Fantastic structure and interesting story about the living structures. We actually prefer Danish Blue or even Danish White cheese, but brie would be ok if that was all that was available. Took: CFA bushfire card, Left: Keyring. Thanks Coffee's

GPS was all over the place, but the cache eventually revealed itself.
Several of the rabbit holes were blowing a cool breeze, so the side of this hill does appear to consist of loose-fitting rock.
Finished off the hunt with a coffee and cake back at the reserve on the main road, and the mineral water wasn't too bad either.
Took: Kangaroo
Left: Tortise
Thanks Coffee Clan.

Found by Roma and Max.
We were aware this one was in the pipeline some time ago, when the owners paid a visit to our caches in Bendigo. It has taken us a while to coincide our travels with GZ.
We collected the required data, made our calculations and proceeded with the search. No luck to commence with, so we re-checked our figures, then widened the search a little and with the help of the clue, achieved our desired result.
We took a Pair of Dice and left a Mondo Figurine.
Thanks Mr Coffee and your Clan,
from Romax.

Second of four finds on the way to Bendigo (again). I had left home without my GPSr and iPAQ! I was restricted to the backup Garmin (only marginally better than a compass and sextant). I didn't even have the coordinates for this one. I rang Muzza, and he gave me the coordinates and the questions. I copied the questions down in shorthand--a big mistake, as it turned out!
I misinterpreted 'planting' as 'planning'. The question didn't make much sense, but we managed to make the data fit the question. That mistake put me 90m away from where the cache turned out to be. It took two calls to the caffeine help line before we found the cache at 1545. Thanks to "Never Nescafé" clan for the cache.
IN: Two dise
OUT: Ear plugs

My second 1st to find
Found at 7.00 pm on a very warm evening. Nice bit of history around here, found the numbers OK but had problems finding the cache ..... I knew I might be first so I kept looking (as my now nice red face can show). Certainly crampons or a pet mountain goat would be an advantage on this one!!!!
Took Lanyard
Left Koala (not a real one)
Thanks for the cache Mr Coffe and the Coffee Clan.
