06-Jun-11
As per the previous log, Irontoad and I found an obvious hiding place for the cache at the correct coordinates but it looked like the local children had been building an army hut nearby and in the course of their adventures had discovered the cache and taken it away to explore further.

03-Apr-11
A very nice park. And at the exact coordinates there is an obvious and uncovered hiding place, but we did not find the cache.

28-Mar-11
Like the bushy nature of the little parks in this area. TFTC.

13-Mar-11
Took a little while to find as no obvious place at first look. TFTC SL swapped a key chain for a newer one.

27-Feb-11
Quick find in nice park. Log book needs replacing. TFTC

15-Feb-11
Found @ 1905. Nice area and nice cubby. Cache was not very well covered and visible on approach so I replaced camo. SL TNLN TFTC

04-Feb-11
~7PM

What a fantastic park, I loved the short walk along the trail. GPSr initially had me in a different spot where there was no cache!! It eventually settled and I was able to find it without too much trouble.

Thanks to Tickford for the cache. TNLN

04-Dec-10
At second attempt we found it. first attempt we got very wet, have taken my kids with me to encourage the outdoors. as new comer to geocaching it took a bit of doing, thanks for the site

03-Dec-10
Well my first attempt of searching the GZ was distrubed by a Muggle walking his dog while I browse over a pile of neat logs.
So doing a quick circuit, circle back and was able to find the cache is realtivity quick time.
TFTC, TNLN.

14-Nov-10
Unfortunately did not find. This may need a hint for us noobies.

10-Oct-10
18.35pm. On my hols caching with lochb we came here for our second in a row 2005 cache,i do like these earlier caches. we struck lucky here as this is very well hidden, thank you for a good cache, greetings from a very cold england.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.

Quick-ish find by Bones1 and me tonight, with a dog barking in the background. TFTC

02-Oct-10
Interesting area - looked for ages but no find.
Think it was the trees like the everyone's troubles.
Probably off on the coords. Would be nice to have a clue Sad

01-Oct-10
Located today, although not logged until 29/11/2011.
Many thanks for the cache.

25-Sep-10
Trees messing with coords but found it in the end, my 5 year old rehid this one so might b an easy find for the next finder

12-Sep-10
Happy Birthday Tickford. The dog must be on sedatives, he sure looks noisy but not a sound!? T4TC

12-Sep-10
Nice night time walk to GZ. Had to search a bit here as the tree cover was affecting the GPS but eventually came up with the cache. Thanks for the hide.

12-Sep-10
Took some time to find this one then Quasar3671 came up with the goods. As he signed the log I enjoyed looking for possum's. There where a lot of them. TFTC

28-Aug-10
Was passing through the area and wanted a quick cache but this wasn't it for us today. Saw the partial cubby, heard the barking dog and was extremely uncomfortable around the very low and non concealing fence. Left with soggy feet, no cache located and a dejected geo-squirt Surprised(

28-Aug-10
Nice easy cache in a lovely park. Thanks, Tickford. Hope you enjoyed your birthday. Cool

24-Jul-10

17-Jul-10
Nice little spot with a very noisy dog who made discussion difficult.
TNLN TFTF

08-Jul-10
Found it around 9pm while checking out spots for a street orienteering course.

26-Jun-10
The signs where looking downward, when on the way I saw a ripped plastic sleave and then a new cubby shack being built at the gz. A quick look around and a quick find in the first obvious spot I came too. Probably a little close to a back fence for comfort.
Love this little urban reserves but it also saddens me that there are so few and they mow so much of them.

21-Jun-10
A tricky little find, but with limited hiding spots.
GPS accuracy was good.

07-Jun-10
The weather fined up a bit this afternoon so I took advantage of it and decided to go get me a few caches.
I found this cache @ 15:45hrs.
This is my third time back here and I was determined not to go away empty handed. As they say "Third time lucky"
Strangely enough it didn't take me long to find it either. I think it pays to walk away and rethink these things.
A great hide and to celebrate I grabbed the Little Koala from the cache and I'll help him on his way tomorrow I hope.
TFTC Left Nothing SL

04-Jun-10
Saw there had been a couple of failed finds, so took the dog for his morning walk to check the status of the cache. It's definitely still there, cleverly hidden away. Took Freddie the Frog TB & left Little Koala TB - I'm sure he'll enjoy climbing the tree Wink

01-Jun-10
[I visited this area with Anne this afternoon after waiting for some council workers to leave the area.
They had been grooming an area where I believed GZ to be and there really didn't appear to be anywhere that a cache of this size could have been hidden.
We looked around and scanned the whole area for at least an hour before conceding defeat.] We also found the thumb tack with the coloured dot on it, but I don't think this has anything to do with the cache.
[I'll watch this one for a while and maybe come back again for another look.]

30-May-10
[Could not find it. Could just be me...]

Went down the path but couldn't see anything as described.
Did see a thumbtack with a coloured sticker on the top of it (wondered if this might have been it).
We both searched for about 15-20 minutes (even off the track) and were unable to find it.

Regards
Gish

Found at 14:25 with tackle_head who located the cache. I wonder what all of the nearby houses make of all of the geocacher traffic behind them. Dropped of a TB. TFTC

#986 (3/4 on an afternoon ramble). Had been planning to do this one after Grandfill, but turned out there was no access of Alto Ave. So we carried on to this cache. Nice walk through the bush and an easy find. Left NZ Kiwi.

King Jnr with Geoprince#1

After 2 years we returned to have another go at this cache - a nice peaceful afternoon with my queen looking after geoprince#2 at home by herself ! I remembered the place well and the muggle dog remembered me. Had the cache in hand in under 5min a big improvement from last time. Thanks In: Trackable moon thing

Found by Darcey and Piper on 25/07/09. Second find for the day. Took bracelet and left a yo-yo. TFTC. Kids are loving it.

12-Jul-09
No Joy locating this cache on my first attempt. Muggle dog is a problem. GPS fix wandering about was not helping either. Might try again another day.

11-Jul-09
Had to leave without finding it as a muggle dog was kicking up a bit of a racket and a neighbouring kitchen window was looking straight out at us. Might try again another day.

02-Jul-09
Found in the dark. Tried this one once before with geodogs in tow but local muggle dogs made so much fuss we had to leave for fear of being spied. Luckily it was raining so the muggle dogs were warmly tucked up in their kennels.

Found by Greg 1005H 29/06/09. A quick driveby after shopping, very quiet. It took a lot of searching to locate this one. The trees seemed to play havoc with reception. A very nice hide.

#22 and final cache on our High Country getaway. Tried this on our way out of Melb on Monday with no luck. Bit better luck upon return with no backyard muggles and no dogs barking while we searched. Searched along whole circuit track. No joy! Nice walk tho.

03-Mar-09
Second attempt for this one, still no joy!?! I'm sure it's there but our GPS seems to go haywire in the area. We searched what we believed to be all the obvious spots....
Any hints would be appreciated as we've been out of the game for a while & need to drop off some trackables, cheers,
Matt

Another on the list of a bad day's caching.... just couldnt seem to get it together.
Cache friendly dog only started when muggle dog began barking... others pre-occupied with Melbourne Cup, setting the perfect caching time.... Needless to say left frustrated at not locating GZ.
Will have the geo-instrument checked also as it has been out on a number of occasions lately and return on another day.

After failing to find this one 2 years ago, when I was here last- I managed to find it within 5 mins this time! Nice hide. Unfortunately the dang dog is still alive. And it barked constantly again!

11-Oct-08
This cache required extra stealth due to nearby living muggle lady with kid and dog. Luckily, the dog was cacher-friendly and didn't give us away.
Nice hide in a cool little park.
