First cache find since Minibaby was born in January. Thanks for the lovely drive through the hills.
Enjoyed finding the clues at different locations. Minibaby liked most of the trip but yelled at point C.
Took TUIT coin to continue it's journey.

We made it back here today to finally put this one to bed .
An interesting drive through the hills, even if it did take us 14 months to do .
Didn't take long to find this and on a different day, must take a walk along the nearby track.
Took frog. Left 'Round Tuit' GC (appropriate we thought). SL.
Thanks Team Langy.

Started this back in October last year and collected the last 2 waypoints today.
Worked out the co-ords and went for a look .
Damn! Rocks ( we hate rocks). Dived in and looked around anyway; with lots of places to hide (even with the briars being poisoned off), we looked, poked and prodded for about 20 minutes before calling off the search .
Checked the photo's/numbers/calc's a couple days later and found we were out by a couple of hundred metres [B)].
Should get it next time. . .

We're here on a visit from Holland and on a rainy sunday decided it was ideal to do this cache. Unfortunately we forgot to take our Garmin GPS with us, and our Tom Tom car GPS just wasn't accurate enough to locate the cache (waypoints were no problem). But the trip was absolutely beautiful, and as an added bonus there was a koala in a tree at the last waypoint. Got some beatiful pics.
Could't stand not finding the cache, though, so went back today, but it was overcast and our GPS just kept sending us roundi in circles - accuracy was about 17m and that obviously wasn't enough. We know it's there, just couldn't find it. So went back for a picnic to our koala waypoint and lo and behold, there he was again (or his cousin, we're not sure). Thanx for a beautiful drive!

I've been waiting for an opportunity to do this one for a while now, and today was the day. Of course it had to be a Sunday too!
One of my favourite caches so far, and the whole family enjoyed the drive through some of Adelaide's best scenery.
Thanks for the outing TeamLangy!

Yep, it took about 51 Sundays to find. Only if it was 51 sundaes instead

We tried this one a long time ago. Today with some more caching experience under our belt, we tried again. We were nearly fooled (again) by B until SNP pointed out the obvious.
We were nearly fooled at GZ. Ah ha! Look a little further down the road.
Tomorrow is our 138th Sunday since geocaching. I'll bet we are still being fooled by 1/1 caches in another 138 Sundays.
Nice to knock this one off the list. Thanks Team Langy.

Last cache for the day, and a great finish. I thought I was done with that park, and a familiar part of it too.
Did the middle two waypoints whilst passing a couple of weeks ago, decided this cache has bugged me long enough.

I wanted that Key!
A very enjoyable cache thanks Langy, loved WP5, but wouldn't want to be the one doing the digging. Final location was a doozy once I corrected one little assumption. Cheers!
26th

Well, what an afternoon. We managed to complete 51 Sundays, On ya Knee's, and Unlock the Mystery, all inside 4 hours!
Needing the final key to Unlock the mystery, we had to complete the drive. After a little bit of assumption, and driving backwards and forwards, we found the error of our ways. Turns out we had already driven past the cache on our way up to the last 2 WP's (having done the others at various times over the years)
The math made sense, and so did the location, so we said, why not look, after all we need this key!
A false start by crossing the creek saw me with shoe's full of dirt, and Anja's jeans covered in green grass stains. After a mad scramble back up again, we moved the car a little closer to a better entrance.
Once at the entrance, the hint made sense, and we knew we were on the right track. Turns out that GZ was spot on, and we made an easy find, after spotting the location from 10m away.
We awakened the moth, before removing the key, and signing the log book with smiles on our faces
Thanks for the entertaining drive, and the fun that we had in finishing this old cache!

Just a flying visit today while fixing some other caces in the area.

Had to wait for Sunday number 52 to do this cache- yesterday was one year of caching (and logging). thanks for giving us an excuse to take to the road on another mission team langy. At the last stop we ended up checking out what seemed almost an impassable barrier- but a way was found across and the mission completed with no broken bones or snake bites. Happy caching anniversayr team IRAC. We celebrated by doing what we've done lots of in the last year and the last 838 caches- we left a frog and took a keyring. Not sure how many variations of frog and keyring we have seen but it sure has elevated since we started caching.TFTC

Well finally we got to log this cache, it's been on my list to do for the last 3 and half years
Thanks Langy

Well we had a pleasant drive even if we couldnt get our figures to add up.
Oh well another day.$~It's a wonder I hadnt fallen over this one some time in the last couple of years since I started caching. I know I passed within 6 metres of it at one time. I had stopped to take some pictures. So I missed it by that much.
I think this one was at the top of my "to do" list and has certainly been done in stages and I have to thank Nibs for correcting my maths or I might still be looking for it.

Started this ages ago, but jiggered up the numbers...
Decided to go for a drive with geokid#2, who slept most of the way.
Turns out I only got one number wrong, and if I had thought about it a little more, I could have fixed the problem onsite!
Geokid#2 didn't like the last 30m, especially when she nearly got wet!
Anyway, co-ords spot on.

Should have read the papers better before heading out for the day. Near the end of the day we visited the first of these points, and then realise that we had gone past others on the way there! Oh well- It gives us something to go back for sometime. At least we have one answer in the book for this one and 5 more to go before we can do the maths and go looking in earnest.
24th
What a pleasant way to spend a sunny, spring Sunday afternoon. Highly recommended. We picked up the six clues without trouble but, as the day was drawing to a close, came home to do the maths.
Returned on Monday to collect the final - no trouble, although on a warm day at this time of the year we were less concerned with falling rocks than amorous long-tails that might be lurking in the grass.

Thanks again TeamLangy.

Its a long way off any geocaching anniversary for me, but decided to do this one anyway. Was out caching with Caeser's Scout for the Easter weekend, and this was the first cache of the day. Finding all of the waypoints seemed to take 51 Sundays, and took us on a tour of a part of SA that I'd never been to before. Finally arrived at GZ, and the hunt began in earnest. This area had about the worst sat loc I've experienced, and we were wandering widely as the GPSRs led us on a merry chase. Caeser's Scout's receiver finally led him to the right area, and he made the find.
Took: Emergency Cache Kit
Left: Ant's Life character

This was my first find, and a multi-cache at that. I am on holidays with my brother winterdragon, and he has been showing me the ropes. Interesting drive - we were going to go to Harndorf, but this led us on a merry old chase through the hills. Oh well maybe Harndorf tomorrow. Watch out for riders if doing this one, especially on weekends. Thanks for the chase Team Langey. I took Huey, Duey or Louie, and left a snake, as this looked like snake country.

I started this on my 51st Sunday, but the weather and time (other caches on the way) beat me. At 16.20 hours, I was beaten no more. My 1st Geocaching Anniverary is on Saturday, 2/9/06. I plan to do so more geocaching before then. Took - TB MERS Racer #4. Left - Mini multitool. TFTC

At last I have found it! Third time lucky - I think I must have cast my eyes over the place where the cache was the first two times I looked, but only noticed it today because it had been disturbed by a fellow cacher. This cache is no longer my nemesis, it has been removed from the top of my "nearest caches that I haven't found" list, even though it wasn't the nearest.
Took Nothing, Left MERS Racer #4 TB. SL.

I suppose that picking a really foggy day for a scenic drive in the hills was, in retrospect, not the smartest decision.
Nevertheless the kids enjoyed the treasure hunt.
Took dinosaur, sticky tape and caribiner. Left binocualrs and 2 LED torches.

This was one cache we'd put off for awhile because it seemed like so much work... well it's not really! An enjoyable drive on our way to Cleland picking up the clues, and then we did the maths over a cup of coffee and a "Meringueimal" at the Mt Lofty cafe (highly recommended for the young or young at heart and lovers of sugar and food colouring in particular).
Neither of us picked up a mistake in one of our calculations which put GZ about 150m off, and about 150m up a giant cliff. Well it obviously wasn't THERE.
Back home and we checked our calculations and headed back to the area this morning and found the cache no worries. Took nothing and left an emergency cache kit. Thanks Langy!

Thanx Langy, clear skies, TeamAstro.

Found 13:05. Started this one out yesterday, just didn't have time to complete it. Being a public holiday what better way to spend it then doing the odd cache. Took: balloons and something else (cant remember). Left: Rubber, pen and badge. Cheers for the great drive around. TFTC.

Had done all the prelim clues in the past so decided to have a look as we were driving past. Found no worries, took a pack of cards and left a dinosaur and car. SL thanks team langy for the tour

Enjoyed finding the clues to this, but wasn't intending on finding the final location until about mid July. After a DNF at Monty's Cute Views, we decided to break all the rules and go for the find on this one. And on a Wednesday, oh the sacriledge!! Enjoyed the mental workout deciphering the final coords, and found WP6 so enchanting we drove right down to the 'no through road' sign before going back to get the clue. Some camo had slipped away from the cache container, so it was an easy find. Took a slinky cow, left a frog. Thanks Team Langy.

Called to the spot on our way up the hill, but like the last log, didn't have the cache sheet so had no idea what we were looking for. Now I can see that the first set of numbers was correct. Will complete this one on annother day.

Encountered this one when visiting Mount Lofty with my parents. Unfortunately I did not have the cache sheet with me, so had no idea what I was supposed to do with this one! Will have to have another go at this on my next visit to SA!

Fortuitously we came across the aim of "51 Sundays" a few weeks before FeatherWaite's first anniversary of geocaching. Today was the day, the last Sunday before the anniversary of our first cache find (1st August 2004). Took marbles, left spotty-dog keyring. A great multi-cache, much appreciated, as we meandered our way through the Hills. Cheers!

A bit past my anniverary (Close!) I'm sorry, but it was a Sunday drive at least. It's been a beautiful day for a drive in the Hills and being from Adelaide and not knowing my own backyard it was a fun challenge. The only doubts came at GZ where on such a perfect day the satlock was a shocker. A small "Am I in the right place ?..." query to The Langy Helpdesk, confirmed a successful calculation. Shortly afterwards the cache was found. Took Playing Cards Left Bag of Marbles. Thanx!

TADA! Completed on the 51st Sunday, as per instructions. . (First cache was 12/12/04). Plan A was to involve entire family and take parents up to Mt Lofty Summit for mums birthday and then do this cache in the Geovan. MRS Z did not approve so than plan was dashed but we still did the trip with parents for the late lunch and back to the western suburbs, and then back east, returning home after 5pm. Plan B went into action with the usual crew returning to Mt Lofty to commence and then complete the cache, which ended within 2km of home soon after 7:30pm. Nearly went a clanger when calculation for X missed the subtraction and we ended up over the road in the blackberries and prickle bushes. A quick recalc and the error was spotted.I had a fair idea where it would be having walked past the cache site dozens of times and noticed how it stood out. Minizyth1 found what looked like a baby brown snake under a rock so be on the lookout for mum and dad as there is what could only be described as a big snake 5 star hotel about 3m away.[xx(] Fun cache , thanks a lot. Took retractable string and sticky notes, left pack of cards, keyring and bag of balloons.
4th
Teamed up with Miray. Beautiful European scenery, with European Hills and Mountains on the way to untypical rockfall. A bowl of sweet cherries. Took Lobster, left model car. Thanks Langy for an excellent Sunday outing
4th
As instructed we went for a Sunday drive with a parent, in this case Octo Generian. And what a wonderful drive it was too, through some of the better scenic parts of the Hills. We did get a bit carried away at one point, revisting point D no less than 4 times, but otherwise no problems, and as a bonus got some lovely fresh cherries not far from point F. Care was needed with the maths ( could Langy possibly be a teacher??), but all was suitably rewarded at the end. Took frog, left model Ute. Many thanks Langy for helping us celebrate one year of caching, and our 100th Cache.

Picked up all the clues to this one yesterday, but ran out of time to get the final location. Returned today to the area only to find that I had no satellite lock whatsoever. I had to do this one the ‘old-fashioned’ way – with a map . Scoured all the likely hiding spots within the area that was plotted as GZ, and in so doing, disturbed an Echidna snorkelling for food. He provided an interesting distraction for a while. In the end, a suspicious-looking arrangement of rocks caught my eye – and success!! Took a rubber ball and left a Disney detective Duey. Thanks for a great cache hunt Team Langy

This one proved to be a bit harder than anticipated. The sums all went ok, as did finding the data required. Just on getting to Ground zero (10 pm) at night, there it was:
M M M Mud ! glorious mud. pigs heaven. After having a bit of a wuffle in it, we nabbed the cache and left The Key to the Heart Travel Bug.
July 2004
25th
Gathered all the clues a couple of weeks ago but the calculation put me in the middle of the road with no hidey holes anywhere (although only a few metres from the actual cache location in the end). Got someone else to do them and noticed it wasn't my Bodmas skills but letter/number substitution. Went out to get the cache today in the drizzling rain and success. This is such a nice area around here. The drive was awesome and stops interesting. Definately enjoyed this one Langy. Took Walrus and left Chinese Figurine. Cheers.
20th
Finally finished this one today and really was relieved to have found the final position.
A passing hiker thought that we were stalking him at one stage but I was expecting him to pull out his GPS once we moved on.
Left - collectaball
Took - 2 Pennys
Thankyou Team Langy for a great learning experience and for a couple of days good fun.

Found by Team GeoCoopers. Did this one in the freezing cold, the drizzle, in the middle of the night with Canyonero & Piggy. Anyone would have thought we'd gone mad but I it contained the last key I needed for Langy's GCK038 Unlock the Mystery. Thanks Langy.
17th
Just a quick trip here to drop off "The Code Key" TB. I had to put one of them in a multi-cache. Lucky it wasn't Come Play With Me!

The simple answer to the question is not to rush the maths. Our homeside calculations were spot on to the final location. And what an impressive location is too.
We soon had the box in hand, there seemed to be only one hinding spot.
The cache GZ was about 10m or so out on our instrument but who cares. Tried to take a reading at the actual cache GZ, it was boucing all over the place like a yo-yo.
All I can say is that I am glad Langy is not Kev. The cache elevation would have most likely been elevated in that case.

Found all of the clues on our drive through the hills. In lovely Langy fashion we got four clues without even getting out of the car. Real drive by stuff.
My first pass at the calc's was thirty k away. Nowing there was an error I took them home to do my homework.
Teacher, teacher I know where it is now, can I bring an apple.
We will return.
22nd

Found by Mary & David at 1550. Took longer than it should have to finish this lovely drive through the Hills. First, we stopped along the way to do "Hard Right! Hard Left!" and "Paul's Sixth Mission". Then, when we arrived where we wanted to park for the cache assault, so near yet so far. There were council workers everywhere. Seems the access track had become swampy because of a nearby spring, and they were resurfacing it. Big heaps of gravel, a bulldozer a front-end loader and a roller all very busy. We drove on to grab some lunch and tackle "Wo ist die Wasserfall". Luckily, when we returned the workers were packing up. We set off through the scrub alongside the track to avoid the mud. We were worried again as we neared GZ as the workers had made a large heap of dirt and gravel that extended to within a couple of metres of the cache, but it seems to be safe from further encroachment although the work looks like it will continue for a while yet. Took 50p coin, left 2 figurines. Our thanks to TeamLangy.
6th
We enjoyed our drive through the Adelaide Hills doing this one especially with the gorgeous autumn coloured leaves. It was quite a cold day so sitting in the car for a large part of finding this cache suited us well, especially with the hot thermos of coffee. Worked our way through the various stages and were pleased to be rewarded with the right location at the end. Took keyring/light and left Winnie the Poo tape dispenser. Thanks TeamLangy.

Even at 1.00pm the fog was still making life a little difficult up on that hill!
An entertaining jaunt along some picturesque roads and a few intersting spots to visit.
The final location had us scratching for a while...but then there it was....
Thanks Langy for a fun afternoon.

Hey! Don't let me stop you finding a cache just because I thought it would be "cool" to do this cache a week before your first caching anniversary. That can hardly be counted as "Langy!'s wishes" now, can it?

Yeah, Sure there C.A.S. "TeamLangy had to find some way for C.A.S. not to claim a virgin cache out this way" I believe you Mike (Team Raider)

Thanks TeamLangy for one of the most enjoyable cache's we've found - all that math though - sheesh Took: Wrasslin' Man TB (left him alone when we found him in our No vacancy cache a while back but thought we better help him along this time) Left: Bubble blowing mixture Thanks again from all of The Panky Pack.

Beautiful sunny day down at the Bay so thought I would go caching. As I drove up the hill to WP1 it started to rain. As I got to the WP location it began to hail. Luckily at this one I didn't need to get out of the car!
Followed the rest of the clues and did the calcs before driving onto the final location for an easy find. Took the Mr Iiix TB that TR has yet to log in and left TB Wrasslin Man. Thanks Langy, another part of town I hadn't explored before.

Mike from Team Raider, @ 1910 after a 48 hour wait on this one After Paul (Team Stargazer) and I spent a cold night (Wed 28th) gathering info, only to find out there were several members of a family with same name in the same plot[B)] we finished the 6 required waypoints only to find it hard to believe that GZ could be in Prospect [B)] After an online chat with 'the man' Langy, we established that there were at least 2 options at one of the waypoints . We went back at the next available opportunity (with my kids in tow) and it was on to GZ after work with Alex & Zac joining in. Positions on the side of the road the iPaq told us we were within 30m and a wet slippery climb to GZ in the dark. Not wanting to deal with 2 mud soaked kids we drove off leaving Paul (from TS) to climb up the steep thorn encrusted hill towards GZ So myself and the boys drove off in search of a more "child friendly" approach. We arrived at GZ shortly after Paul, who had just lost power to his GPSr [:(!] - doh! Team Raider Hi-Tech cachers to the rescue Took: Lip Smacker Left: Libra glowing keyring Thanks TeamLangy.
30th

First of three caches today (others being: See the Sea and Baked Beans for Dinner?) After Mike (Team Raider) and myself first tried for this cache last Wednesday night (28th) and succeeding in gathering all the info at each waypoint (or so we thought) the actual cache location eluded us ... mind you we didn't really believe that GZ would be down in a shrub outside a business on Prospect road. After some discussions with TeamLangy we finally had the correct waypoint info a couple of days later & it was on to GZ after work with Alax & Zac joining in. Got to within 30m from the main road but we couldn't see a way to GZ from that location. So while Mike & the boys drove off in the car to see if they could find a better way in, I jumped the creek & proceeded to make my way up the steep, thorny infested hill towards GZ arriving there only shortly before Mike & the boys, who had found a much easer path to GZ, did - doh! [B)] Found 30/04/04 (30th April) @ 7:10pm by Paul (Team Stargazer) Took: Winnie the Pooh figure Left: Floral lei Thanks TeamLangy.

I think you've done it to us again

I will create a web page for this cache which will contain Word docs and Excel files to help you along thew way. Its just not quite ready yet. Dont bother with the link!
