Yay! cool spot. no koala sightings though, but I love this forest. Took the stretchy frog and left Mr Angry Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius). The papers in the box were pretty soggy and the green garbage bag in the description was not with the container - hence why it was damp I suppose. I didnt have anything with me to replace the bag, perhaps the next visitor can wrap it up up again. Thanks dohertys!

Again another Saturday night with no date...
So I rang 2 friends up and asked them to come along.
I finally got a chance to come back to this area, as I didn’t have any time at or after the picnic to go search for this one.
Started the trek at about 8:45pm and had found it at 9:30.
Took a while to go the last 38 meters since it was all dodging big spiders with even bigger webs.
As we made it back to the car we where approached by an officer in a paddy wagon car who asked us what we where doing. Told him I lost my wallet and he took off.

The Spring Picnic 2004 event cache was located in the same reserve as this cache, so it was a case of 'two for the price of one'. While awaiting the start of the event, several of the teams went in search of this one. I was in the company of aandm, and a found it first.
The only fauna I had in my swaps box was a plastic goose (Polycarbonaticus honkius), so I put it into the cache, and extracted nothing.

This was our favourite Qld cache during our short 5 day stay. We lunched at the nearby picnic spot and had close encounters with several dacelo novaeguineae, and many hungry and noisy acridotheres tristis. Were lucky to spot, and get very close to quite a large, friendly varanus gouldii interested in our "Red Gallus Domesticus" scraps. Alas, no phascolarctos cinereus to be found today. We took the skincidae puzzle and left the green geckonidae, before rushing off to catch our plane home to SA. Thankyou for bringing us to this tranquil spot.

Found it with the help of SirSmokingHam and Altek.
It was my first find and it was fun, but due to my GPS running out of batteries which really ticked me off, but luckily we saw its allocated area.

Found it
This is the first cache that i have found.
I found it with the help of Egg_man who is also a first timer.
almost did not find it due to GPS running out of battery, and trees interfering.
Good hiding place

Did this one again with Darren and Kyle, they both enjoyed the local area and it's sites as well as the Cache. We took some photo's of Maple Bear with a Koala which I will post once I get them developed. We left him here so he could live with the Kola's for a while. We also left a "Carcharodon Carcharias" (Great White Shark) and took a Kookaburra.
Still in great condition and we hid it well again.

OOps forgot to drop off Maple Bear in the last log..

Another good spot Some one had left a travel bug Mr Chip so he has gone for a ride with the clock. Left a dragoness with a transport caress as had nothing else in with me. The cache is in good condition
Thanks for a great cache

Sorry for not doing the log sooner...I had to email the owner of Mr Chips to get the travel bug id since we forgot to make note of it when we picked it up from Where Eagles Dare the same day.
Left a turtle, took a turtle. Left Mr Chips travel bug
Nice walk in another pleasant spot we haven't been to before.

Found this one as my fifth and last for the day, in the rain. Noticed an orienteering marker near where my GPS was initially pointing. The rain and tree cover threw my signals out for a while, but then they came good, and I spotted GZ from about 20 m away.
Took the Scylla serrata, Left a boxing Macropus rufus pen.
Nice location. I will have to come back when its dry. Good one Dohertys.

Found at 1.25PM Heaps of mozzies which appear to be immune to Aeroguard to make life miserable. Fortunately it didn't take long to locate the cache and make a hasty retreat. We had nothing suitable to leave in exchange so took nothing. Greg and Bev

Nice wet day for a walk in the forest. We didn't have to much difficulty finding this cache. We got to the location and the GPS tryed to throw us off the track but the hiding place ended up being obvious. So many good things in the cache but we only had a Carassius Auratus Plasticus to swap so we took nothing except the Beaver travel bug. We didn't see any Cabletius Tightus in this cache, maybe next time. Thanks for the hunt. PS: Our GPS ended up agreeing with the coordinates posted, just took it a few minutes to sort itself out.
