Time to go?

Sorry for the late archive have not been in the country for 3 weeks. Gone until next year

31-Jan-15
Enjoyed it- and the shopping nearby too. Thanks.

I came, I cached, I met new people and I had a lovely morning. Thanks for organising a lovely event.

31-Jan-15
We went along for half an hour or so, and it was good to catch up and have a chat with a couple of cachers.

31-Jan-15
This was the first cache where I've written my own name in the log instead of Mum or Dad doing it for me. I love the park here!

31-Jan-15
I wrote my initials on the log.

31-Jan-15
Im here with snoopy1976 and ris768

31-Jan-15
A nice little gathering. Knew it was going to be in a food court so where able to prepare myself mentally to be near a mcdeath store.unlike the other night. Nice having a chat with some new and old faces. Thanks to Morley and those that attended for making this an enjoyable event.

31-Jan-15
Nice to see some familiar and new faces and put faces to names. We have missed the last couple of these annual events but the different time this year suited. TFTC

31-Jan-15
My first event in the Hills:) Nice to meet you all, albeit I didn't stay too long and only spoke to a few. Thanks to Lucky1955 for showing his GPS and thanks to Morley for organising.

31-Jan-15
Unfortunately an issue has come up at work that needs dealing with and I will be sweating it out on a hot tin roof at Eastern Creek instead. If by some miracle we solve the problem quickly I may make the end of the event but it's unlikely to be that easy. It would have been nice to catch up with everyone after the sad events of the past week.

31-Jan-15
Well its a beautiful day to sit and chat about all things geo. Sitting here in the sun reading the paper. Hope to see you all soon

31-Jan-15
thanks for organising. Lovely to meet you all and make some new caching friends. Went off to find a few more caches with Tardis 0061 & Lucky1955. Special thank to Lucky1955 for teaching me how to drive my GPS!!

It was great to see some familiar faces at this event. And welcome to some new faces to the fun activity.
Dropped off some tbs, and picked a couple up.
Thanks for the event.

Thanx Morley196 for organising & thanks to those who gave me some useful tips on things to look for while starting out.

31-Jan-15
That was fun! Pity I had to cut it short, but it was good to meet the faces that go with the names I've been reading for 14 months.

31-Jan-15
Thanks Morley for a great morning. Enjoyed meeting some now familiar faces as well as new ones who enjoy the hunt. Handy being able to get some on the spot tips too from CO's. tfte

I missed last year's event because I was in California. It was good to once again to attend this real Aussie event. I realised while speaking to people at the event that it has been a long time since I cached in the hills. Many of the faces were new to me, except for a few of the older cachers I've known for a few years now. It was a nice welcoming group: Morley humoured me, dcmacca lauded me, some newer people backed away a little, but smiled a lot, and my sons hit me for fifty dollars to eat lunch an hour after second breakfast. It was an event no Aussie cacher could miss. Thanks Morley.

A great event at Rouse Hill as always. Unfortunately I could only stay for a short time as it was my grandson's (aka LucasSmurf) 1st Birthday and there was no way I was going to miss this occasion. Well done Morley196. I look forward to next year.

#2871- Well this is the first event for the year and the only smilie for me today also. And hasn't it been a slow start to the year for me. The boys are none too fond of urban caching these days, so unless we are going further afield, I have a head time convincing them to go.
Nevertheless, Garks, ( or Gigzymandias as he now likes to be known), Nickoheap and I rocked up about 10 to find everyone inside the food court- much less noisy than outside as it had been in the past. This was our fourth Rouse Hill event, missing last year because the family were in the US. I haven't cached in the area for almost two years now, and today was no exception. I am hoping to get back soon and make the area a little more smilie-like.
We are used to going to events and knowing everyone, but today I felt like the newbie. Great to see some old friends and chat to some new cachers too. Thanks Morley for keeping the tradition going- a pleasant morning was had by all. Grabbed a few coins to move on also. Thanks.

31-Jan-15
Was lovely meeting so many new cachers & catching up with a few from the Cockatoo Is Meet last year. Thanks Morley196 for a great day Smile

31-Jan-15
Visited the event with my mum. I was well behaved;)

31-Jan-15
Got there just after 11 but there were still plenty of cachers to catch up with and it was really nice to meet a new CO. After the event I went around with ContactPete, Tardis0061, Lucky1955 and Celtical find three caches in the RHTC. Ended up spending 3hours and 5mins at the centre resulting having to pay for parking for the first time in my life but it was well worth it. SL #1769 on streak day #940 TFTE took a TB that wants to go to the mega event.

31-Jan-15
Visited with Snickersallan, planning on getting to my 800th find today Wink

31-Jan-15
This was my 6th hills event. Nice to be inside the air conditioned food court rather than outside with the noisy children banging on the play equipment. It was nice to catch up with some familiar faces but I must admit that every time I come to a hills event, I don't recognise many cachers. Many newbies in this area. After a nice 3 hours of chatting with friends, it was off to do a couple of local caches. Thanks for organising the event.

31-Jan-15
Nice to meet like minded people and to get tips on dnf caches.

31-Jan-15
If anyone found a mobile phone laying around could u send me a message. The brand is a Huawei. My daughter left her phone behind. (Mum is not happy). Thanks for any info re this.

31-Jan-15
Stopped for a little bit this morning; had a great chat with some fellow cachers before heading off to make it in time for another appointment. TFTC!

31-Jan-15
Enjoyed this event even though I couldn't stay very long due to a prior commitment. It was great to see cachers helping each other in various ways. Also enjoyed the air conditioned comfort. Thanks for the event Morley.

30-Jan-15
dropping some trackables

30-Jan-15
I intend to come along to meet some great people that share this wonderful hobby.

Being very new to this, where can I expect to see you all?
I understand it's in the food court but I figure the food court is large and you will all
blend in to the crowd.

I have a few things to do then I'll head down.

See you all soon.

30-Jan-15
I will be there

30-Jan-15
Attended didn't sign log. Morley can you please sign log for me?

Ris768 will verify.

20-Jan-15
I'm quite new to Geo-caching (12/14) and keen to meet like minded people near by.

Having just notched up 100 finds, I really am enjoying this hobby.

Should be fun.

See you all there.

20-Jan-15

19-Jan-15
Oh cool I saw the original published date as the 4th while I was in WA and was spewing that I couldn't make it. Just got home and checking on nearby caches that had been published since I've been gone and discovered this one had changed dates. I can make this date, woohoo see you all there.

17-Jan-15
More likely to be at work, an awkward time for me, but will try to attend it. Thanks Morley for keeping the event running.

Going to try and make it! Will be nice to meet some local cachers.

1st lady

Now the 4th would have been good but the new date corresponds with my World Environment Day event so I have to officially put in my apologies.

23-Dec-14
Now the dates are different. I can now attend this event. Looking forward to it.
Cheers

22-Dec-14
Will do my best to attend. Btw, the listed date for this event is showing as 4th Jan, not sure if that can be changed at this date? Its just that thats the date people will see in the weekly geocaching.com emails - as opposed to the date mentioned in the description Smile

22-Dec-14
sorry for the confusion guys, it is the 31st this year, these new forms and the way they are set up had confused me. All fixed - for the 31st
