Our first 'geocaching get together'. Very enjoyable. We were able to put a few faces to names, which was nice, and we caught up with a few we already knew. Nice place, nice meal, thanks for organising, Crazy creels.

Crazy Creels Thanks for the great event, I'm only new to Geocaching, had a great time met a lot of new people, other than Tigersden who introduced this sport/hobby to me last year. It was great to put faces to team names. I enjoyed my dinner best angus steak I've had in a long time, but the company of Gary (micaparamedic) and David and Mary (Maccamob) was even better. I also met Carl and Debbie (Iamapom) for the first time, turns out after a cryptic clue sent by Carl with a geostuff order that these lovely people are actually my Landlords.

Thanks to the Crazy Creels for sharing your addiction - to collecting geocoins. I selected my favourites to discover from your collection. TFTDrinks.

Nice pub. Great company. Great food and yay, Pom Pom (Purple) Cruizers- my favorite girly drink when I might have to drive. Nice end to our day in Bendigo.

This was good fun. I had another thing to go to tonight, but the weather intervened. This meant I could stay much longer for a good feed and chat. Thanks Crazy Creels for organising this.

Attended after a " hard days caching " for refreshments and a lovely meal and of course the debriefing . always great to catch up with friends and meet new friends thankyou to the Crazy Creels for the Event and will look forward to next years Bendigo Events

We found this cache today ay 6:10pm as the 30th of 31 on our Tour de Bendigo XI. We enjoyed the whole day in Bendigo today, culminating in this lovely meal. We worked out that we would have driven past this hotel between about 80 to 100 times either on route to Renmark or on geocaching trips but never had the opportunity to call in until today. It was a lovely spot and the meals, the temperature and the company was all fantastic (as usual). We got to line up a lot of firsts into this trip including the 1st time that we have found 6 different cache types in a day, the first time that we have found over 20 (or for that matter 30) caches on any February day in the past 8 February's and we got to pass the 100 mark for cache finds in Bendigo early in the afternoon. For the numbers purists, this was our 2,000th cache find on a Saturday and our 42nd event cache overall. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

What a great way to finish off the day! Met up with some old friends, met some new, enjoyed the country pub hospitality, the meal, the cold beer, and the company of other cachers. This place was just perfect for this type of gathering. A well organised event, and thanks for everything Crazy Creels - terrific job. I'll be back next year.

What a great venue - the pub did well to cater all these hungry people. We were one of the last to leave so we saw all the rock and roll dancers from down road come in for dinner as well. Great to catch up with lots of cachers.

2011-02-26 16:30 ,#292 Got to the hotel about 4.30 in the afternoon. Met Bev from BEVFRE, Serena from Tigersden, 379Jonti379, Princess Diala and many others. We also met up again with IAMAPOM (Carl) and his wife Debbie. We sat and chatted with them for ages. Had a great time. Also managed to discover a huge number or TBs/coins!!. We decided that seeing there was 2 events in the Bendigo area we would make it a full weekend and tackle some great caches and excellent hides in the company of Team Crackers.

This was the 2nd event for the day and after a few caches along the way we arrived to find this meet and greet in full swing. It was great meeting new cachers and catching up with old friends and again great caching stories were told.

Like all great events the time flew by and seeing it was getting dark it was decided a group assault was in order for a new night cache, so after the much needed coffee we said our thank you and headed off

Our sincere thanks to the Crazy Creels for the event at a great pub we will be sure to re-visit when next in Bendigo.

Up in Bendigo today for the Flash Mob and Marong meet and greet events. Met up with my mate Blacklegend (Marshy) and cached together for the day; which was rather warm and getting progressively humid as well. After a hard days caching it was godd to work our way across to the Marong Pub for a beer and a meal and some socializing. Had a great chicken parma and chips for tea and a couple of beers. After a good hour of socializing with other cachers, it was time to hit the road again and cache some more. Thanks Crazy Creels for orgaininsing the event; had a great time and great meal.

Attended with the Crazy Creels, Team Boofa, and Team Geotwins. I was the sober driver and almost drove off on Jo (Boofa).

A nice venue to wind up a top day caching. We had a few beers and had a bit of a chat then headed of to finish a few more caches.

Great end to the day. Spent many hours catching up with fellow cachers, the mozzies enjoyed this get together also !

After sorting out the trouble with the electric windows in my car, coley_babee and myself arrived for some good food and great company.
Talked geocaching and some swapping of pathtags.
I even learnt that I had inspired an archived caches cache!
Delicious food too! Great venue for this type of event.

Thanks Crazy Creels - I could sit and relax a bit and read my book. I came with Mum and Dad skullracing.

It's always s pleasure to catch up with geocaching friends both old and new and this time was no exception. The food was excellent and the conversation even better.

Well I must say what a fantastic event, I was one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave. It was a great afternoon/evening to meet many new cachers and get the opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces and friends. Enjoyed a wonderful meal, by far the best I've had in ages!! Would return to this pub for sure. Learnt many tips from other cachers and had a lot of fun. The evening ended with a few caching groups heading off for some nearby finds.
Thanx to the Crazy Creels for this event that gave me the chance to meet many other local cachers.
Looking forward to many more events in the future.

After a great day, what better way to spend the evening than with more friends at the Marong Hotel! The food was good and the company better. Grabbed some more caches later that evening including a couple of night caches just to top it off.

Grabbed while up from Melbourne for the 2 local events. Spladem and I had a great time doing all these great local caches

#1090 @ 5.10pm. Arrived here and caught up with some friendly faces and spoke to a few other names which we had never had the pleasure of meeting. A fantastic venue & although we didn't stay for a meal we could see they were pretty appetising. Mary & David were there. A fantastic venue to finish such a great day. Wonderful company, great food and attentive service. Swapped many a caching story over a pleasant three hours. Our thanks to Crazy Creels for arranging everything.

Over my first year of caching the opportunity to attend any events never crossed however 2 in one day what a buzz
daylight hours today found paths being crossed with other caches unlike a normal day [^]

A good place for an event this one - nice and big, and great food at reasonable prices. Great as ever to catch up with others and talk things caching and non caching.

Many thanks to Crazy Creels for putting it on. My only whinge is that it was a little early, cutting into valuable caching time!

We managed to break away from caching and arrived around 5.30pm. What a good spot! We met up with a few more cachers gleaned a hint from Bevfre that put a smile on our faces the next day and enjoyed a delicious meal before getting back on the trail! So thanks for the opportunity Crazy Creels

Had a really nice afternoon meeting up with like-minded people and putting new faces to long known names. This being my first Event, didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to the Easter event.

Attended with Quasar3671. Got out to this one at about 5.30 pm and really enjoyed a couple of Schooners of Carlton.... The chicken parma was great as well after racking up about 40 finds at this point...... Caught up with a few more people we knew, and a few we didn't, which was great. James (my 4yo) enjoyed the kids pizza meal, i enjoyed what he didn't finish. Cheers and thanks for another great event.

Team Geotwins attended their 2nd ever event and in the same day as the first. We had a good time. We liked the dirt, we liked the water fountain, we liked the mini dim sims and chicken nuggets. We couldn't find the treasure. Lizzy said we got 3rd to find! Not sure what that means though.

We had been hoping to join all our friends in Bendigo today for the Marong Family Hotel Event, but unfortunately other priorities have taken precedence – have a great gathering.

It was a late decision to attened but I'm glad we did. A beer at a nice little pub that puts on a fantastic parma was a perfect way to end the day..

We cached, we ate and we had a wonderful day.
