Went after this one on a wet Sunday afternoon.
With a storm approaching the view was spectacular.
Located the Cache signed the Log and with the rain increasing
we headed back to the car.

OMG, what a spot, loved the walk in, and the views with the frost over the valley amazing.
Scoped out the climbing spot for when we return again, and we will be back.
Took Bass badge, Left Flutter-Fly TB, TFTC and bringing us to this spot.

Time for another Roger cache today but regrettably not the nicest day for it. The weather was closing in fast so mini rat and myself had to battle the cold, the rain and the piercing wind. Once at GZ we took shelter huddled against the rock but alas that did little to save us, sorry it was a hasty retreat to the warmth of the car.
Thanks

Another great view location within easy reach of town. I've walked thru this area many times and never get tired of the vista in al weathers. Found the cache at 10:40am. LNTN

Took the long way round for this one - which wasn't the plan, but a wonderful walk.

When we eventually got up to GZ, Mrs funky (who's a few months pregnant) enjoyed (and is very proud of) her 'rock climbing' to find the cache.

Took geocaching.com.au pathtag and left a little torch and a lanyard.

Amazing views, particularly with the sun getting low. TFTH.

One of the best stocked caches I have ever seen, though I had trouble tearing my eyes away from the view.
We did the round trip and watched the rock climbers warming themselves on the clif faces below.

We walked Porters Pass today - walked right past the GZ on this one and then had to go back to it at the end - what a day.

In the end it was an easy find and there was a lovely patch of sun that broke through at the time after what was a very grey weekend.

Thanks for the cache.

Walked straight past this one the day before, not knowing about the cache, so we were slightly miffed when we had to come back for this one Smile

Great view and nice little hidey hole.

Thanks for the cache.

Found by Pi.

Staying with friends in town. While wife shopped I decided to check out some local caches. Excellent short walk. Arrived at GZ and meandered over to look at the rockclimbers from above. Took a few minutes to find the cache. Re-hid cache then continued on the track and had a good chat to a few of the rockclimbers while traversing the under cliff part of the walk.

FTF!

Drove to this one thinking straight in, straight out. Not doing the loop of walking track. Just going to get the cache.

So naturally we went the wrong way round the loop and ended up doing it all anyway!?!

What differences in temperature, terrain and closeness to the edge there was from one track to the other!

Found the cache not quite where we expected it to be in typical Roger style!?! But the view was pure Roger!

TNLNSL. TFTC.

(We did take the Bear from the Bear in the Big Blue House that we found in the middle of the track on the way back to the car!?!)
