Left my gps at home, but no matter, google maps satellite gave me sufficient idea of the cache site to be able to find it.
Simply beautiful afternoon to be able to get out for a stroll.

A quick stroll at lunch to clear the head before a meeting. Nice easy find in an urban setting. SL TFTC

It wouldn't surprise you to know that I did this one with the whole gang. Huxley is familiar with the area, and so romped around like a lunatic. (Or more accurately, like the lunatic that he is!) This was a pleasant cache - I enjoy the darts off into urban bushland. It's great, having come from other states, where here in Canberra you can find yourself in the middle of bushland, in the middle of suburbia... irony.
Thanks for the cache, Sol. As usual, I liked it. (So much that I left a pathtag (4c)) Took nothing.
16th
Found with Fore!, allrounder and Huxley the geohound.
A lovely walk to a very pleasant spot. Took nothing, left pathtag & keyring.
TFTC! Fun -

Found @ 3:11pm with Fore!, Shadow! & Huxley the geohound
A nice spot that Hux particularly liked as he dragged away bits of cache cover and played with the golf ball that was in the cache.
Took/left nothing, TFTC!!

Thanks Sol for a nice stroll through some recently burned bushland - I came in the back way and missed MUGGLEstone St. I really like the bark on the trees on this hill - nice character and colour.

Found with a short walk on dusk. A nice piece of bushland. TFTC
ps. Tuggeranong Suburbs????

Nice find in the dark. Still a bit puzzled by the name on the log book.

Extra stealth was required today to avoid the zillion kids participating in a school cross country here. Left TB. TFTC.

Found on World Asthma Day with CS_family GeoDad on lunchtime walk. This is my preferred stamping ground for lunch time work walks.
4th
Found with Badja. Great excuse for a lunchtime walk in this lovely bush area - and it knocks off a 'closest to work' cache.
TNLN, TFTC.

Not sore if this was the right way in by able to drive to within 40mts? So making this one of the few hill caches down here where one doesn't need to walk up. The burnt area gave us an easy turn around spot before heading back down to the tarred road.

Good to see some hazard reduction burns have been carried out on the hill.
It turned out to be not as much of a walk to find this one as we thought it was going to be.

I thought I was going to be up the creek with this one as there were 1/2 dozen roos guarding the GZ and one big fella in particular wanted to stand up for himself and make an argument of it. My best wildman from Borneo impersonation encouraged him to move on. Looked like he was worried that it might be catching as he stopped 20 meters away and gave me a really weird look. Easy find after that..

2978. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]Something new everyday - or at least a misconception rectified. I had a slightly different spin(s) on the term but happy with this one. Interesting spread of months used for Ides - particularly as July is included, named after the aforementioned pain in the neck (or lower). Quick wander to the cache and some nice scenery as well.

On a run with ZsaZsa7 and McPhan into the untamed wilderness north of the lake to weed out the caches going wild up there. Very black here after the recent controlled burn so it now very open walking. Thanks Sol.
26th
Wandered up from a near-by place with Winglen and Mcphan. McPhan making the find.
Knew the area had had a recient burn off, cache fine.
Thanks for the cache Sol.

Reperio at 1100. Parked in a nearby court, and made the dash up to GZ to find a surprisingly large amount of burnt off timber here. A quick search soon had the cache in hand and enjoyed the walk back down.
Gratiae Sol.

2 roos were guarding the cache. TNLNSL. Thanks!

Enjoyed walk along to the GZ. Lovely area - No swap. SL. Thanks Sol de lune

Been here before. In1994 Sallymander's cousins lived at the end of the approach road. We had frequent walks in this forest.

A nice little stroll up into the forest to a nice quite spot, no roos here today, but fun anyway - thank you. Also found a pathtag, thank you to who ever dropped it.

This was a nice little wander up the path from muggle central (even though there were actually no muggles about today!). Urch & I found the cache nice & easy. TFTC.

A most pleasant wander through some bushland to the cache. Left my pathtag. Thanks for the hunt Sol de lune.

My geoson was insisting on finding another 2 caches this afternoon before heading home so since this cache was close to Aranda we headed up here. Recent burnoff has left the groundcover a little bit black in some area but cache was safe and secure in its hide. TNLN and many thanks for the cache Sol de Lune!
27th
Nice walk and easy find. Despite living only a few Km away have never walked in this bushland before...thanks.

Ran past here a few days ago but returned with babybent in the bike trailer to get this cache today. Thanks.

Ha – very strange, I didn’t realise that Bruce was a Tuggeranong suburb? Maybe continental drift?
Anyways, a lovely little bushy spot that I don’t think I knew about! Quick pre-breakfast walk, and the cache was found. TNLN, Thanks Sol de lune!

There are not many caches on this hill, but I suppose you can't see much. Thanks.

Found an a great bike riding caching run with the geoson, who loved the dirt tracks around this great spot. He also loved the car in the cache so we dropped in some necklaces and a couple of tattoos in a water tight bag.
Thought we had blown putting the cache back - a couple of the locals checked out the cache spot after we left - lucky they were magpies . TFTC

Found on a 26km bike ride. Didn't notice any REAL hills around here?

2120 - A couple of finds after work today before heading to the coast...
Anothert of Sol's 'Day' caches - worth venturing out to get this arvo. A nice walk in an area I've never visited before - some nice houses around here !!
TNLN - TFTC !!

"incline"??? I don't recall any "incline"?????. I dropped down a few gears, well a lot, but not really any incline to worry about.
17th
So Sol, did you know when you placed the cache? Fortuitous or well planned? Either way, this weeks back burning around here only came within about 50m of the cache. Beware indeed!
Like MBO, I also struggled through the less than clean hilltop air to get to the cache, although an equal part of the struggle for me was the incline - something Im sure he barely noticed.
I was also curious to note the cache name on the log book - I dont think Im familiar with that suburb.
Cheers

Ah, I like these quick MTB ride-by traditionals. Despite the nearby smoke, I rode in, all OK, and rode to the cache, was almost thinking of bunny-hopping over it then glanced at GPS on handlebars and stopped. Sol, not sure what the Ides of March has to do with that location, but a nice ride from work nevertheless, Thanks for the ride & cache. Now for the other two down Sth.

Found this one on a nice sunny afternoon that I took off work. Perfect weather for caching!

Ah.....finally a chance to shake of the caching cobwebs and get back into the swing of things. What a glorious autumn day to enjoy a few caches!!!
A nice quick find here at GZ. I know it's a new cache, but I was still surprised to find that I was only the third log.
Very nice cache to get me going again after a slow start to the year.

We had an early morning rather than a late night.
The early bird catches leftovers.
I have attached an image of (one of) my other obsession.
