Fourth 'quick' find whilst going to the shops for geo-wife... Picked up First American Cache Geocoin - what a cool trackable. Suppose I had better get to the shops...
17th
Found on a caching run around the southern suburbs. Bigger geokids played in the nearby treehouse while the rest of us retrieved the cache. TNLN, TFTC.
10th
Have been meaning to get to this cache for a while. Had some spare time and took the geohound for a walk and made a quick find.

The second of the afternoon, this was an easy find. A good hiding spot just out of view of the muggles on the nearby Monaro Highway.
Took a marble, left a raccoon. TFTC.

Went looking for this one the other day when it was raining and blowing a gale, retreated back home, however, today was much nicer and found without any discomfort. TNLN
7th
Lots of traffic but muggles go too fast to notice.
6th
Another quick stop on my way back northside after visiting Tuggeranong.

I also learned something on this cache: If you drop over to a friends place and they suggest you go find a nearby cache but it's raining, you have no GPS and haven't looked at the map, it is convenient if they have already found the cache earlier in the day and can at very least act as a GPS and tell you you're within 3m of GZ. Thanks Sol for the cache and thanks ArcherACT for being my GPS.

With the weather closing in again, I decided it was about time to turn for home. This cache was kind of on the way, so I stopped off here. The hiding place wasnt immediately obvious to me - ArcherACT had done a good job concealing it after their find. But I got it, and signed the log before the rain returned.
Thanks yet again Mr de Lune.

I learned some things on this cache.
If it has been raining and looks like it will still rain, take something to keep the rain off yourself.
Also, centipedes can grow reasonably big in this area.
I might need to upgrade the original etrex to an H model..
16th
Wandered over from nearby Our First Cache and found easily. Thanks.
11th
Reperio at 1500. Having just logged Theodore, it was Richo's turn, and this one was a nice simple drive by.

Last of the morning caches before returning home to the weekend jobs by 7am. Only a few more left to do in the series, but getting really worried now because this one is deliberately painted two colours, so there must be some significance. Input to a future puzzle or something, not wishing to set any ideas! Haven't recorded any of the different coloured containers, logbooks and pens, so I hope this is just for variety! Thanks Sol.

When you're both hunting around a bit, and the 4y/o geokid on his own yells "i found it", it makes us seasoned hunters feel a bit foolish... lol Nice little spot though. TFTC

Another suburb off the list, both wasptor and I overlooked it but geokid was right on the money! TFTC!

GeoTeen was practicing his recently acquired driving skills and I decided to test him by explaining roughly where this cache was located and letting him decide where to pull up and park safely. He did a great job although, darn it, I had to then walk another 40m.....just can't get good help these days . However, I then showed myself up by taking ages to find where this had been neatly tucked away . Hmmm. Can you tell we haven't been caching much lately? Anyway, finally found it, signed log and rehid the cache. Back to GeoTeens part-time caching wagon for a quick trip back home and to do some serious planning for more caching outings. TFTC

Just a quick cache to fulfil my daily. I must admit that the hiding spot wasn't immediately apparent, but a consultation of the clue pointed me in the right direction.

Some nifty last second parking for this one! But it was safe enough, you could pull off the road... The more interesting manoeuvre was when we had to do a U-turn to head to the next one! TNLN, Thanks Sol de Lune.
26th
I found it again! Of course, I always get a head start - the others are still organising themselves, getting stuff, locking the car, and I'm already looking!
26th
I was driving, Tankengine was looking down at his GPS, navigating, saying left, right, straight, PULL OVER HERE!
What, I can't pull over here! - Oh well, did anyway, and a nice quick find!

Cool, walking distance from my place again. Found this in the early morning light as rush hour got busy nearby, a blue stone on the ground nearby distracted me into that area for a few minutes like a jaybird but an easy find after expanding the zone again. TFTC and the early morning exercise

On the way home from having dinner with Norkmeister and family I wanted to do a cache on the way home. The only problem being that there wasn't any traditions left in our area, so we thought we would leave it for tonight. Then driving up our street I heard my phone go, I checked it, oooh a new cache, and it is in Richardson, Honey can we please? Fast driving, ooh we went past it, no it is up there, is it?, u-turn. Jmanjezza had a quick look, keen to be the first to find, then he gave me (geowife) the torch and I find it. I couldn't get the smile of my face!! Yah! My first, first to find!
20th
oh no the kids are all asleep, and i'm the only one home.
