Tilley and I attended this event on the way home from Cerberus. It was great to again catch up with everyone and meet some new faces. Crept away early but had a good time.

It's a nice time of the year to attend an event - it gives me a good excuse to put the excesses of Christmas behind me for a while and get out and about and meet up with some like-minded maniacs . I usually tend to get stuck with the same old faces at these functions (which is always a pleasure) but, this time, I did manage to make the acquaintance of a number of teams whose handles are familiar but who I've never actually talked to before.

Thanks Ian and Penny - I've already pencilled this one in for next year too .

PS Sorry for the late log - I find logging a lot easier to do when I'm at work!

This was cache # 18 of 43 for the day, on my trip to the Intervening Days II caching event. I enjoyed catching up with all the familiar faces and putting faces to names that I have seen in log books My thanks to in-and-penny for the Event.

Attended this great event, thanks to Ian and Penny for organising such a successful outing. I even had luck in winning one of the GPS accuracy competitions! It was nice to catch up with so many cachers, some I had met before, others I hadn't.

Another great event in my old home town. Was pleased to put more faces to names at this event, although after reading the logs I noticed I missed a number.

A great day thanks ian-and-penny. It was great to meet some more cachers, and grab a few caches around the Melton area.

Had a fairly brief, but very fruitful visit to Melton and this event.
Met several people who I knew by name but hadn't spoken to before. As usual it seemed that everyone was very generous with their time, pathtags or advice. (Especially pathtags!)

We had a great time today. As ide from meeting up with old friends, we certainly made a few new ones.
We enjoyed chatting with everyone we met, and hope we met everyone.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to attend today. So this is a quick note to say
to all solo cachers and teams have a great new year in 2010 and we look forward to catching up at a cache soon.

I arrived at 12:15 to find the party in full geocaching action. A bunch of oldies I spoke to but I missed quite a few of the newbies. I would loved to have caught up with some of the locals, but time just ran away from me.
Some philosphical discussions were had today and it all made for a very enjoyable afternoon.
Of course, the usual mystery cache hint trading was on in full force and so I pressured a few cache owners into handing over another hint or two. I WILL find those two darn caches in Williamstown if it kills me, or I have to kill the cache owner :-)

Arrived at the alloted time to find the event in full swing. Met up with old friends and new ones. Swaggie2 was taken with the Pathtag hobby and may follow that in future. Thanks to our hosts Ian & Penny for another great event. See you all next year. Hope to add some photos of the event a bit later.

Arrived at 1149 hours, Enjoyed the company of some fellow Geocachers that I had meet and some that I had not meet.
This was a great day for the event.
Weather was just perfect.
The company was just perfect as well.
Will have to see if I can make it to next years as well.

A lovely day out with clouds keeping the worst of the sun away and allowing us to blame them for any DNFs. Great to catch up with everyone and exchange some pathtags. Tnx I & P - I think its a fine caching name.

It was great to catch up with and meet other cachers, and I enjoyed giving the pathtag necklace an airing. The necklace has grown further with some fantastic pathtags that were generously given to me on the day. The excitement of chatting with fellow pathtaggers has inspired me to order another tag so I can return the favors.

Hi Ian & Penny, this is the 2nd year in a row that we'll be unable to join you for the intervening days.
We are heading to Nepal for a 3 week trek, and will be at 5500M and minus 15-30 degrees on the day.
All being equal, we will be at Cho La Pass on the way to Everest Base Camp while you're enjoying Australia's fantastic Summer.
We wish you, and all fellow cachers joining you, a great day.
And obviously, look forward to meeting you again at a future event.
