Time to move on fokes. The November lunch is just around the corner.
12th
Just a note here to all the friendly ACT teams who are keen on the Oz Mega Wagga Wagga.
The event has been listed and you might not be aware yet.It can best be found at the top of the NSW state page on GC.
Thanks and looking forward to all the popular Canberra caching teams joining in the fun !!!

What a great time had by all. I was excited about Easter in Wagga next year and now I'm on fire. Can't wait...
7th
enjoyed the luch and talk
7th
So many mythical creatures appeared!
And such good weather to be caching inside.
Nobody had enough time to talk to everybody else, therefore, must have more lunches.
If they continue to grow they could go mega.
The younger "Sams" had fun with the DS rather than GPS and later on there was a mutiny - weather too foul to be outside hunting. Went bowling instead.

Thanks for a great excuse to take a proper lunch break! A very good turn out & I even got to meet a few new faces - although most of the names are familiar . I look forward to the next one - thanks for organising 0319 & I look forward to seeing your new pathtag!
A big thank you also to The Farmers 5 (or 9) for whetting our appetites about the MEGA next year - I can't wait....
7th
Wasn't sure that I could make this one, but the rain scuttled the mornings plans, so I was free at lunch time! Mind you, I was 15 minutes late, seems there was a time change, but I didn't catch on! Great to meet fellow caches, including ones I knew, ones I recognised but forgot their names (always takes me a while to remember names!), and some I hadn't met before! Thanks for organising O319...
7th
Hmm, not sure how to get my log marked as a cache, hopefully this will do the trick. I enjoyed the chance to meet fellow cachers that I had only known by cache name and logs up until now, keen for any more of these events. Thanks to the organiser and fellow attendee's.
7th
Good turn up for the first 'official' lunch event. An excellent location, plenty of room as it turned out. If the number of attendees at these events grow, I think you could almost have it again....and again....and again. Plenty of different things on the menu to try each time as well. Just a thought.
Thanks for arranging 0319, as usual, great to meet up with like minded folk again and hear all the tales. I look forward to the next one.....(day after Melbourne Cup maybe).
7th
Glad to have made it. I enjoyed meeting everyone and putting some faces to names I have only see in the logs. Well done - let's have some more. CT

The Farmers 5 group of 9 arrived at 11am and checked out the geoscience exhibits and mulit cache clues within the exhibits. The Farmers 5 7 kids lined up with the Sam Walkers kids and they soon had Ds game challengers going. We finally put faces to names that had found caches in Wagga. We all enjoyed a great chat and it was good to see so much keen interest for the up coming Oz Mega Wagga Wagga event. Enjoyed the luncheon and signed the log book as the only NSW team. Logging from our iPhone while camping at the Cotter for a week. Thanks to 0139 for the event and will be doing caches while here. Thanks again from the Farmers 5.

Great to meet everyone. Thanks for the event, especially the convenient venue.
Hope to see you at the next one.

What a delightful day for an indoor event.
It was great to meet so many faces that are new to us and to see those I know.
Thanks O319 for organising this lunch get together - looking forward to the next one
Thanks to the Farmers 5 clan for giving us such an emotional heads up on the wagga mega event
tks
7th
Thanks O319 for a great get together!! The heads up from Farmers 5 for the "Mega Event" sounds good, especially the.........not allowed to say sorry!!
By the way Zoran turned up at 1315, had bus problems, and looked for us all, but we had disbanded except for myself, Wink Inc and Farmers 5....so he actually did make it!!
For future visitors to Geoscience - lunch was great!!
7th
Many thanks to the organiser and great to talk to fellow cachers. Cheers.
7th
We hadn't planned on attending today but the wet weather forced us indoors and we decided to pop in to meet some fellow enthusiasts. It was great to meet so many faces that are new to us and to see those we know once again. Thanks for organising it O319 and for making a lunch time event a regular feature on the ACT caching calendar. It was good to hear that some curious GA staff popped in to see what it was all about - but little do they know just how quickly the addiction takes hold.....lol .

Once again, a really enjoyable get together! Mrs MPH just managed to slip downstairs for a few minutes, which was good.
Really nice to meet a few more people this time - nice chatting with ratpackleavings and peteandsara! Thanks to the Farmers 5 clan for paying us a visit and for filling us in on the Mega-Event! Very exciting times!
Thanks O319 for organising - look forward to the next one!
p.s. who gets awarded honorary FTF?!?!?!?
7th
That was great to see so many people there, visitor CP was full but all good access to rear found, some of the usual suspects but alot of up and coming stars too, plus a bonus insiders briefing on Mega event... can't wait for that...
thanks for organising this...
7th
Looks like the poor weather means I can attend!
See you there!
7th
A late entry by the farmers 5 team from wagga. There will be 2 adults and 7 kids attending the lunch. We are already at the Geoscience cafe having a coffee and checking out the exhibits.
7th
Didn't think we would be able to make it today - but as it turns out, we can. Count Mrs MPH and I in. (Mrs MPH works in the building, so probably has the shortest trip to attend!)
7th
Although I was hoping to attend, I can't. I have a work lunch. Of all the days...
6th
Have an update on the numbers, as per Mr B.Bears log a late entry makes it 20 cacher identities and 35 bodies in total! Well done to everyone.
6th
Hey cool, I can attend my own event!
Was great to see so many people there, my attendance sheet has 19 entries and a head count at the peak was 34 people!
And, yes the surprise briefing on the upcoming Wagga MEGA event was good. Thanks to everyone who came.
Check the GCA forum for discusion of the next Lunch event.

Tomorrow (Wednesday 7th) is our first "official" lunch. Have nealy 20 booked in so will be a little tight as was bargaining on around 15.
Went to see the cafe people today and they said 20 will be OK, but that we should possibly arrive around 12:15 to make sure we don't miss out on the best choice of tucker..
So revised start time of 12:15pm, see you there.

20th
Work Permitting I hope to be there 8-)
Its in the Calendar anyhow.
18th
would love to come and meet some other cachers but unfortunatly being a work day on the other side of canberra means I can't come. Hopefully if it is ever in Belco I can make it
17th
We will be there, and like SamWalkers, I will have 2 little munchkins with me...
17th
I hope I can make it, it really depends on work on the day. Maybe I can convince my boss to come with me ;)
17th
Love to actually meet the fellow caches that I only know by their frequent logs!
16th
Work calendar looks OK at this stage, so I hope to be there. Just hope I can find an empty car park space back in Civic afterwards!
16th
Apologies, yet again (Sigh). GREAT location though. I'll be at lunch soon!
15th
I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it - will be good to check out somewhere new - I was pretty impressed with the displays in the foyer when I visited briefly on my FTF quest (but there was no time to linger then with a FTF on the line)!
15th
That is school hols...
I intend to attend but must append the three depend(ants).
They can do the multi while I sit and talk.
15th
I'll be there anyway - I work there!
But I will love the excuse of lunch - it will be great to meet up with other cachers.
15th
I should be there too, note FYI a few caches nearby too , but thats pretty much anywhere in Canberra right..
