What a great venue and a great bunch of people to share it with - it was wonderful to meet some new people and catch up in person with some others - thanks to all for making it such a special event!!!

Many thanks to RobTas, JanTas, Cached and The Whacky's for organising this event. This park is great, one of my favourite camping spots. It was great to catch up with people new cachers and old. It's a pity there wasn't enough room in the ute for the child and dog I wanted to take home...maybe next time? I have set a cache in honour of the silliness of Saturday night - thanks to RobTas for the cache container, and CraigRat for the idea
Oh yes, and thanks to Piglet for handing over his winnings so easily, and Cached for providing Piglet with said winnings! TFTE I had fun!

This was great fun - that festive holiday feeling just keeps building! Pleasant weather, great park and home base in the hut, enjoyable company, good organisation, fun and games, neat prizes: thanks for putting it all together. Enjoyed the hunts and races and really appreciated robtas's gentle help to get us back on track when we had lost the plot (or cache). Whilst my competetive edge took a while to get going in the cache hunt, it was up to speed by the egg and spoon race, and those ties for the three-legged race were the best ever! Liked the photos Rob. Thanks also for some fantastic help with my Oregon/trig problem! I don't think I have any excuses now for not getting out and finding some caches (and trigs)! Coco-Pop accompanied me, and we both had a top day. Thanks robtas, cached and the wackies.

Had an excellent time over the two days we were here. Great to catch up with cachers I haven't seen in a while and always nice to meet new teams. Thanks to all for coming and to cached and whacky for hosting the event and Robtas for the work he put into the preparation for the event.

A great night chatting around the fire and a great day hunting the caches!
It was also great to catch up with everyone and meet some new people.
We really enjoyed ourselves, a round of applause to those involved!

Glad I came today, was great to put faces to names. We had a really fun day and found lots of caches, and learnt lots of good tips from experienced cachers, thanks guys.Loved Pioneers Park, what a nice spot to camp. Had a laugh doing the egg and spoon race and the three leg race. Thanks for the great day.

I had arrived at the event having come straight from The Devils Gauntlet D - Black Beauty and I only had a half eaten bread roll and a few Jim Beans on me. I looked (and probably smelt) pretty awful but thanks to the generosity of the CarrollEyre's I had an awesome coffee and a hot meal. [:X]
The cache hunt later in the evening was heaps of fun and Flange& Tribe turned up more caches than anyone else which was pretty remarkable as they didnt have a GPS even on them.
As for Mr CarrollEyre's aimless wandering ...... well that was a definite sign of 'blondness' (I should know!), I lost track of how many times we ended up back at 'F'
I would have loved to have stayed the night, especially when CraigRat waved that bottle of red under my nose.
Thanks robtas (and Jan) for organising the event and thanks robtas for the batteries.

Another fun event where I showed Redtag and Flange that I can become hopelessly lost in the bush and that I have little understanding of the fundamentals of electricity....i.e. GPSr need batteries to go. Is my hair a distinguished grey colour or a ditsy blonde? Thanks Robtas for making a hunt where I could not find a single cache container till the last one, your little hunt in the bush was mighty fine for someone who professes not to like long walks.
As usual it was nice to be able to put faces to names that appear in the logs and to gossip freely about caches and those that are DNF's.
I now have to consider what to do about next year's mega event..
Thanks Robtas for an enjoyable and pleasantly relaxing evening.

Thanks for the update. We planned on getting there Saturday night anyway, so works great for us! Won't quite be the same as last time there as I won't be able to partake of wine around the campfire, however I'm sure my husband can do his best for the reputation of Team Snuva!
