As the shifters said...
I was even getting funny looks from some of the curious passers by. lying on the ground looking under all sorts of thngs.
the Slavos truck came and offered me a meal , i think thye thought i was homless searching for some food. perhaps they saw me ratting through the garbage bin.
I have no idea where this cache could have been stashed that we did not probe, tweak, tug, thump, pull, press, lever, jimmy, hammer, stomp. hit with a mallet, electrify, magentise/demagentize. and just plain look.
thanks for the "fun" anywhow...
Would appreciate a private message /email with where the cache is/was as its goijng to disturb my sleep for a long time. and I doubt i'll be back for ages to look again

We had a total of 9 pairs of eyes (6 adults and 3 children) from four caching groups (Shifter Brains, Pesky! Geomonkey, Maverick4x4 and Super Snoop) looking for this cache on saturday evening after dinner and we were unable to locate it, couldn't search one potential site due to muggles.
Two teams returned on sunday (it was a little busier on sunday) and we were still unable to locate it, even with torches, which we didn't have the evening before.

Scored with Winglen and McPhan on Christmas Eve. This is the third trip in total I have made in search of this one. the hardest problem was the locals making it difficult to search.
Thanks for the cache.

2644. [font=Trebuchet Ms][green]There are better ways to start the last work day of the year. Like having a coffee with wonderful people in Namadgi may top this. However I'll settle for a cache and coffee in Dickson with wonderful people any time. This may be slightly embarrassing but we didn't even look at that one last time. Lucikly(?) it was replaced.
Thanks to the Winglen and Zsazsa7 for a great year of sharing and caching adventures.

First to find this one in a while. Having finished work for the year yesterday, the prospect of a sleep in was very attractive, but nevertheless we elected to meet up early with McPhan for another attempt on this one. Knowing that it had been replaced, two Winglens and McPhan headed for different points of the compass when the GPS both zeroed out metres from the three possible features. Although trying not to look obvious, it must have looked funny with all three of us looking in different places. Well done Mr Winglen for putting us out of our misery. Nice coffee afterwards, thanks McPhan, and thanks TienHua for a cute puzzle.

After winglen and McPhan couldn't find it, I thought I'd better get on down and check it out. The cache was gone but has now been replaced in a slightly safer spot at the same coordinates. Happy hunting!

Hmmmm months since this was found - perhaps we should not have attempted, but we approached with that enthusiasm that comes from thinking it all looks pretty simple on the screen. Tried hard not to be too obvious while we searched, then I wandered off and bought two coffees and still no find by McPhan. We'll have to try another day or night when the muggle count is lower.

Found at 0645 with local businesses opening up nearby. Chose the correct position, a quick check and a quick spot. Took longer to get the scroll out!

I enjoyed helping the guys find this cache. The key to any successful cache hunt is the moral support - which I supplied in ample measure while keeping watch from a safe vantage point. LOL and TFTC

Found with SecretSquirrel-BJC with support from Sandsoap.
Finally managed to crack the solution to this puzzle. Gave SS a call and within 30 minutes we were all on site. SS and I set about scratching around the various hiding spots while Sandsoap kept tabs on our progress from the quick getaway vehicular device (aka warm car).
Found after about 10 mins of searching all the possible sites. Unfortunately the coords placed us in the midway point between several likely spots.

I had all the pieces. I nearly put them together. I knew within 30 metres where it should be. And then went off on to weird tangents with coincidental partial solutions. Fortunately CT and I had decided to work on the puzzle together, so I was very grateful when his light bulb eventually Stuttered on. Off to GZ we went where I at least I could return the favour.
Thanks TienHua! for a very challenging puzzle and hours and hours of mental distraction from muggledom.

Well - that took a whole lot longer than it could have! And probably would have taken even longer in not for a hint along the way!
As per normal, I was making the puzzle harder than was necessary! Finally the obvious kicked in, and I was off to hunt the cache!
That also took longer than it should have! For starters there were muggles all about - I call them musical muggles, because they always occupied the spot I wanted to search! Each time they abandoned one location, I swooped! There was four probable locations my GPS could not decide between, but it turned out to be in the fifth location! Typical.
TNLN, thanks TienHua!

This puzzle had me scratching my head for some time. But where theres a will theres a way, and the way eventually led me to a log scroll containing only Mtbikeroz's name and a 2ndTF for me.
Only a very small detour from my regular cycling route to work, but even at 6.20am still had to wait for muggles to move on before mounting a serious search.
Thanks for the cache

Cooeeee, a *FTF* - wow - wasn't expecting that!
An easy find, and a very intriguing and interesting puzzle. Liked it so much, as I was working on it I was sidetracked by various plots and more murders - a great read. After sorted out a few ambiguities with TienHua, listing was updated and then I was away. Solved sat noon, found FTF Sun noon.
Thanks TienHua for a simple concept and an interesting result, Coooeeeee.

Have been out to get this one 3 times, twice with correct coords. Tried last night and again early this morning hoping to avoid too many muggles. Despite confirming correct coords, still couldnt find the cache.
This is going to be very hard to find without attracting attention of muggles I think as even this morning got some very funny looks. Not so difficult late last night as our odd behaviour couldnt compare to that of the hoodlums hanging around. Really not a safe place to be late at night so be careful if going alone, lots of drunken and violent idiots about.
What sort of clown goes out at 7 on sunday morning to poke around odd places? and I forgot my gloves. Found plenty of chewy...yukkk, but no cache!!
