Camped here about 10 years back on the Queens birthday weekend in June. Was so cold that the plastic jerry can of water froze solid over night even when inside the car......
Cache was an easy find, but the magent is coming "unglued" was even tempted to bring it home with us for repairs, but decided to leave it out there. Next finder will need to be carefull.

I was here on the off chance that I could collect a few other caches in the area - very weather dependent at the moment!
I had the camping area to myself, so fossicked around for a while before locating the cache. Well done scotty-308 nicely crafted. Now off to check out those other caches!

#145 - Nice easy find early in the morning before embarking on a hike to Mt Clear summit. Glad I did it then as 28km and 10 hours later caching was no longer a priority compared to the comfort of the car! Beautiful area. TFTC.

Another great cache. Very clever. Had to be a little stealthy as there was a man cooking nearby.
Would have liked to spend some more time here looking.
Signed and we were on our way. TFTC

Found with SecretSquirrel-BJC.
We called in here nice and early this morning but were beaten by a couple of campers who were setting up their gear nearby. So came back again early afternoon after doing the new multi nearby and had no trouble at all locating the cache.

A lovely camping ground! and a great place to launch off for bike rides and bush walks. Beautiful country. Thanks scotty - hope you can entice some more metro cachers down here.

1466 - The first in a run of 10 for the day...
We went out this far so we could work our way back in throughout the day. Brr it was cold here (see piccie) and I didn't believe it when we saw the campers - they can have that !!
Luckily a quick find so we could move on...
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers....

Decided the weather was too nice, so took a day off, and nabbed a few caches! I was going to take Friday off, but my colleagues got in first! Then it was going to be Thursday, but I had an important meeting booked... Oh well today's fine by me!
Being the third closest, this cache one was third on my list! - I was aiming still further south! Nice hide! A quick stretch of the legs, and I was off again... Not far now to the start of the grand finale - Thanks Scotty!

Cooeeeee, A *FTF* .
Yep, camped here a couple of times in the 1980's.
Yep, definitely a frosty hollow.
Brought my own water, but have swum in the local river in wetter times.
Ridden down here and through many times.
Yep, seen that type of cache container before. (Still a good hide though)(This time, a nano in the bush is respectable)
AND had a GREAT time Mountain biking around, Thanks for an excuse to go for a ride., Cooeeeee.
