Co-Exist Geocaching - Munzee Event

4th July 2015

Come and celebrate all things munzee, eventzee and Geocaching Australia at this event in Kings Park. The goal is encourage others to play the different games. Most of all we can have fun catching up with each other and swapping stories.

Don't forget to install the app (eventzee and munzee) before the day and set up your account.

fluffyfish will be giving away pathtags! Plus rumours abound of a geocoin lucky door prize. Plus trackable dog tags will be given away as a lucky door prize.

Location : Pines Picnic Area, Kings Park Perth

Time : 10am - 12pm (munzee+eventzee+geocaching events)

Activities : Moveables will be published on the day to help those playing Dragon Zone. Please bring along any other moveables as well. Lots of virtual munzees in Kings Park (no physicals please). There will be special munzees just for the event with badges and special icon available for attendees. So don't forget your smartphone.

We had a very busy time. Eventzee went really well, some of the clues were really sneaky and it was great to so many teams and families working out what they should be looking for. Great to catch up with some of our caching friends and learning more about Dragon-Zone. And Happy Birthday Munzee Smile

A lovely day and a great introduction to Munzee's and Eventzee's if only the app worked on my phone, gave up on that one. Great to catch up with a few fellow Geocachers and Munzee hunters or whatever the collective noun is for each. Thanks for organizing the event and the amazing cupcakes, works of art is all I can say.

The dragonZone game isn't like the gnomes or the frogs with a particular moveable theme.

However I have personally chosen a dragon theme for these moveables.

Don't forget to pre-load your smart phone with munzee and eventzee before Saturday morning. You can find them in the play store (android) or apple store (iPhone)

Don't forget there will be TWO fun smartphone+GPS games at the event to try out. One is munzee which is a qr based game. The other is very new. It is called Eventzee and is a photo hunt/scavenger game. There will a unique Eventzee game to be played so don't forget to put it on your phone before the event. Search your app store for "eventzee" and also "munzee". Will be lots of fun so join in!
