Today we decided to target some caches in Launceston to get finds for the battleship games. In total we looked for 14 caches and found 12 with 2 dnfs. We had an eventful day touring through streets. Venturing to places we had never been to before.

This one was quickly spotted on approach. Signed the log then moved on TFTC

out and about with Lil Rafa caching in Launceston for the weekend to get shots for the battleship GCA game and this was on the list to FIND. TFTC TNLN log dry. and at the end of the day a win for my football team in Launceston. YEH!!

First official GCA caching day for me today i have heard about GCA but hadn’t mastered the site but today I decided to have a go at finding some this was my second hunt & if geocaching has taught me anything its that a SPOR is usually concealing a nice little hide can’t believe this hasn’t been found in so long & is still in great condition! Tftc

Easy find, it's caches like these that definitely make this game worth while. this park could easily be overlooked if not a local or walking past TFTC

#GA884 - 09:35; Back in Tassie on family business, so the opportunity to collect a few more of the local caches was too good to pass up. I had collected a couple as I made my way to this one. It was familiar territory, having attended a few parties in the general area more years ago now than I care to remember. Found a convenient park, then it was off along the track to GZ for a quick find and sign. TFTC activehunters

Our time visiting Tasmania is nearly at an end. At the last minute we decided to stop off in Launceston for 1 night.

Grabbed this cache after the GC cache.

Back in Tassie finding caches that have been published since our last visit, this is one of them.

Next find of a few around the area. Found the way in and soon arrived at GZ and the cache was soon in hand...

Had some spare time between scouting activities and this seemed like a great way to spend it. Quick find, left behind a scout TFTC

Did a lap of the block before finding an access point for this park. Mr beetle thinks we have cached here before but I don't remember. There are so many little parks in Launceston it's hard to remember them all.

Thanks for the cache, this game is amazing. This is a beautiful little park that we never new exisited.

Yet another hidden Launceston park. In fact it was so well hidden we looped the block before we spotted the entrance (well one of them). Our skills in observation didn't bode well for a successful find but as it happened it fell quickly into our clutches. Thanks activehunters. All good at GZ.

Just logging this one now (September) as I forgot to log it at the time. I may have the found date incorrect.

It was a little tricky to find at night but we got there.

Nice little place. My phone had me going round in circles so had lots of walking with this one. lol .... Was very quiet not a soul around. Thank you had fun
