Description

You can see it, but the muggles will see you!

This spot is just begging for a cache, but there is was a Sneaky cache less than the allowable distance away to the south. But GCA caches are a little more flexible. You don't need to be physically flexible to get this cache, but maybe temporally so, as there are always cars streaming past. Even when I hid this, at 2300h, there were neighbours coming and going, and cars driving by.

It has taken a little while between hiding and publishing, but it's ready to go now. It is a 1kg washing powder container wrapped in tape for extra protection. Put the rock back on top as an extra camo.

Choose your moment and there may be an FTF pathtag too!

Logs

This cache appears to have been disbaled for more than 90 days so to avoid it turning up in the search lists we'll archive it. If the geocache is resurrected the cache owner can reactive the listing by placing an unarchived log against it.

Ooops, looks like I got busted!

We pulled up across from the cache while heading east on Grand Junction Road. Initially there was a woman on her verandah across the road, but she soon disappeared. When a break came in the traffic I walked over and made a quick find on the cache, which was signed and replaced as found.

Upon getting back home and reading the cache owners note, Mrs J informed me that the lady actually did reappear on her verandah, and her neighbour also came out and both were watching me. I didn't realise this at the time, and thought i'd pulled off a good, clean, covert find. Seems I need to brush up on my stealth tactics.

Thanks FourW, but sorry for getting your cache thrown in a bin. Crying or Very sad

I just had an interesting phone conversation with an officer from Holden Hill police station, as a concerned citizen had handed in a curious object (thank goodness they didnt think it was suspicious!).
Anyway, aftwr giving her the website and my details, she decided it might be harmelss after all. But the cache is now in the bin. I will have to make a special trip up to replace it some time soon.

Interesting hiding location. Any reason why bring us here, across busy road?

After a trip around this area with the CO several days ago where we located this cache we decided that we needed a time of low traffic to atteempt this one. We set out early this morning and were delighted that the locals appeared to be sleeping in and the traffic was very light. The cache and contents were in excellent condition. Another very good hide FourW we really enjoyed this one.

Found It!
It wasn't tricky for me! Although I can see why it would be in peak hour traffic!

It's all about the timing of the traffic..TFTC

Hmm... very exposed position. I instantly knew where the cache was, but getting it would be tricky. Since I don't make it out this part of town much anymore I decided it was now or not for a very long time. The nearby homes seemed empty, so I wandered across to the island and waited for a break in traffic before returning to the car to sign.

At this point I noticed someone in the front window of the nearby house, but they seemed to only give me a cursory glance. TFTC FourW!
