Description
Tickets Please! ORANGE
Tickets Please! ORANGE
I am an entrant into the moveable cache race for 2012/13 with the theme of 'Transport'. This is one of five I have deployed. I'd like to see which of my buses can carry te most passengers and travel the furthest!
Please move me within 2 days of when you find me, to keep in the spirit of the game!
If possible, try to log my find as soon as possible so other people do not partake in fruitless searches. Then, move me on again to a spot more than 1km away!
The Rules:
- Your cache must be a form of transport or anything, even peripherally related to transport.
- You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2012 and add the word bingo to your cache tags
- You are required to add the word bingo to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
- You can add the word bingo to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page
The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2012 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2013 AEDST - The game administrators decision is final
You can find and move your own cache during the game period provided it is not the caches first move - Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- Only moves count towards your bingo card and you must move the cache at least 1km to count as a valid move
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game will find / move your cache, but they are requested to move it on within 2 days

Logs
Given this was moved here 3 years ago, perhaps I was over-ambitious to hire canoe and paddle across.
Much evidence of muggle vandal activity at this location.

Hired a kayak for a paddle on Narrabeen Lagoon - a dragon-free zone. The rain held off and the sun broke through. Found a nice little beach on Wimbledon Island with a small clearing behind it and left a bunch of movables there.
The dragons have spoken and it is time to move on. Found at 10:05 am. Will move to a new hide but may take 1-2 weeks.
Fed to the Manly Dragon. Moved to a little park in Balgowlah ready for the next hunter. Watch out for the long grass covering pot holes!
Wow that is a LOT of caches my BB brought home! I would have gone too but some of us had to go to work. Now my house is full of Gnomes, frogs, Bingos and Angels! I’m going to have to do something about this and start hiding them again before they take over our unit once and for all!

Operation: Dawn of War (Clan Phoenix Gnomeland Raid)
Cache Condition: TP! Orange was full of water, though the bag saved the log! Replaced the bag with a clean one and dried him out. All good now!
Operation Summary: Leaving Sydney at 4am to reach The Gnomelands by dawn I kicked off the 'The Great Mount Piddington Moveable Challenge' with a raid of freedom to release over 60 moveables from their mountain prison to freedom. 4.5 hours of morning caching saw a good few sack-fulls return with me to Sydney.
The caches have been moved to St Leonards for some TLC and a bath so don’t go looking for them there. They will be released shortly in various locations.

Up near the hilltop, and time to wander the Gnomelands ... considering where currently located there was no logical reason for the convoluted approach to Tickets taken - log signed and good for a photo op, but left in place.

The second of seventeen in our exploration of a new (for us) loop in Gnomeland.

Tickets Please! ORANGE has made its way to Leura before continuing on to Lithgow. Don't bother looking it is already gone.
One out of three is better than nothing, quite surprised to find it as it was sitting there in the open, obviously not a popular spot!
Now to take it for a trip up the mountains.

Cache walk with Zhaoy to drop off a series of movable angels and others. Reachable from the steps.
Went for our first proper Angel hunt today! Where better than a cemetery. Scary! (especially the mozzies ) Found with my boy Zal amongst Angels, Bingos and even an old Frogie. Thanks! We will hide them again soon.

Last one for the day, An afternoon raid on the Rookwood BADU hangout. They seem to be attracted to the dead eyes of the inhabitants. I also managed to find a whole bag of BINGO caches from last year I had missed, which simply wont do... I shall spread them far and wide to stop their scheming.

Moved this collection of racers down to Rookwood where I am sure they will be found soon.
One from last year left over the road for me. An easy find. Will move it around shortly.
Moved to the Normanhurst Depot. Behind the rock.
Found a heap of moveables at Yass. rogerw3 might be eyeing these off for the Gnome Gnation aka Moveable City in the Blue Mtns.
Out with Just a cacher on a moveable hunt after work. A quick grab here this afternoon before the rain set in.
Thanks for the cache.

Dropped off where it was quickly picked up again.
#GA40 - 15:25; Found this interesting moveable just laying around on a table at Basil's Mega Event for Introverts (GA6340). Bumped into a young toyhunter too for that matter. Enjoyed a chat and exchange of TBs as well. TFTC AB

Dropped of where a few visitors will be able to catch up with him....just in case no humans are around.
The local cacher will relocate him in the day or two, so please leave in the location for now.

I was lucky enough to get a delivery at work for these ones so they could continue on their journey undelayed. Thanks.

16 moveables for the price of one at this location!
As I'm not actually part of the Bingo game, I left the cache where I found it for those who are playing to move it along. This 'Move' log should confirm the coordinates.

Spladem has come to the rescue and picked these up for us as we have a sick MMelb at home so can't get out to rehide these today - so electronically dropping them at the 12/12/12 event for all and sundry to pick up. Thanks Spladem!
Found at the start of what is going to be a busy day today!! Cute moveables, thanks bubblzdee
Moved on quickly while having done more nearby. Thanks bubblzdee for the caches.
