Description
y's Dozer is an entry by 2y'stassies in the Bingo Game.
Another delight found in an op-shop. This once remote controlled front-end loader with a dozer blade (interesting combination) labelled Mega Dozer has seen more productive days but would still function with manual propulsion. Graders, front-end loaders and bulldozers are the workhorses of moving earth and rock in road construction, site preparation and mining and are deserving of representation in the Bingo Game. Please help Mega Dozer push on around Tassie.

Logs
Following our previous unsuccessful search, we have made some enquiries. At one stage it looked promising as a semi-permanent resident of the nearby caravan park had seen kids with a large yellow toy about a week ago but the trail quickly ran cold. Although it was very well hidden, it is possible that kids may have found it if they went into the bushes (eg retrieving a ball or retrieving a dog chasing one of the "millions" of rabbits in the area). We have also been looking for an appropriate replacement (y's Dozer was a defunct remote control toy about 50cm long and 15 cm high) but a search of many op-shops proved fruitless and, according to the rules, we could not replace it with something dissimilar and keep the same number. So, reluctantly y's Dozer has had to be archived.
Chocolate_ali was around for tea. Afterwards we went down and checked - couldn't find y's Dozer where it was left. However, there was evidence of recent party very close by with trampled bushes right next to where y'sDozer was hidden. If the revellers were responsible, wouldn't think that it has gone too far. When we get the chance we will go for a look over a wider area including the kids play area in the nearby caravan park and along the foreshore above high tide. Given the elapsed time, picked up and not yet logged does not seem a high probability.
We were surprised that it has been nearly two weeks since chocolate_ali put y's Dozer out. Being a highly sought bingo number, hard to believe that no-one else has been searching for it but there has only been the one DNF since then (thanks robtas). One of us was there when chocolate_ali put y's Dozer out - very good hide. We will check it out when we can (probably tomorrow given the commitments we have today).
Left Dozer by the beach awaiting its next ride
Sorry whitewebbs, we moved this and the other cache with it just before leaving for Hobart and did not have mobile internet so were unable to log them until now. My apologies.
Is there any hope of this cache being put back out as we are on the north west coast?
Collected on the way back from Launceston today. Out again soon.
