Description

This little guy is handy for those spots were you need to double stack you hides.

When it comes to these moveables I have not much to offer.

After quite a few DNF's on moveables, I'd had a couple of finds, so my sunny disposition had returned. It was only short lived, as I didn't manage to find this cache after checking all of the possibilities in the general area. I hope this one was only due to poor vision, rather than it having been collected as was the case with the first few of the morning mission Sad

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.

Today we ducked into Launceston hoping that Sunday would mean less muggles around. Anxious

Decided to check out Trevallyn to see if we could ride our bicycles in this area to cache and
noticed these couple of moveables hanging out here so picked them up. Dancing

Try to move soon.

This one is so tiny and no label, easy to get lost.

After zooming all over Launceston & being totally unable to find any suitable free parking (even for such a small car), micro racer's current driver was forced to agree that the local council have everything sewn up. So it was forced to trundle to a halt just down the road a little from it's previous parking spot. Such is life.

What better way to spend a sunny winter's afternoon than to go for a stroll in Trevallyn Reserve. Picking up a few movables was a bonus & this was our first. Although he is rather small, he's still racing and has now zoomed off to find more free parking.

Moved to the Trevallyn Reserve with some other friends. Plenty of GA & GCA caches around up here for you to do as well. Micro Racer is protected from the weather by being enclosed in a little plastic bag

What else can you do on a wet day but go caching - saw there were several moveables waiting to be found in this area that I had not visited since I was a child and lived down here. Still a beautiful area even on a rainy winters day. Thanks for bringing me back down here. Found easily thanks to accurate coordinates & hint.

After a long exile micro racer wanted to be left in surburbia. It chose a neat garden bed to wait with its new friends.

While the other half of the team helped daughter with her renovations Mrs Y'stassie headed to Penguin to look for micro racer. On arrival she found she had the car without the specialist caching equipment. After rummaging around she found one thick glove and an old pair of secateurs(last two attempts mentioned thick gorse). She headed down the road and after surveying the very thichly gorse covered bank between her and the pine tree decided to follow the train line until she was as close as possible. When 17m from GZ a steep but gorse free bank looked as though it would provide access so up she went only to be faced by a 3m wide blackberry patch. Secateurs in hand a pathway was cleared revealing a patch of dense seaside scrub. After pushing and crawling for about 10m another blackberry barrier confronted her. Another 5 - 10 minutes cutting and she was through. Next came a deep but narrow ditch and rough grass. After 23 minutes the 17m to GZ was crossed. After a short search the cache was found still safely tucked away. Now for the return journey following some animal tracks through tea tree, light gorse and some sparce blackberry patches up the bank to the old highway and a walk along this to the car. And the terrain was 1. Cache found after last find two and a half years ago.

Tried to find a way to GZ but couldn't get near it. The gorse and blackberries must have grown in the time since this moveable was put here.

27-Jun-14
Chickened out on this one. Could see the pine tree but wasn't prepared to tackle the gorse and blackberries in the dark. So near, and yet so far. Perhaps daylight would reveal an easier route, but I let it go. SadClan Phoenix !

I have placed a few, well quite a few caches on my driveway. They are available at all times, but please take 5 or so at a time. I am happy for you to take more, but please don't just hide them all together.

By the way I have a nice photo that I will post of all the caches together
