Description
y's Magic Carpet is an entry by 2y'stassies in the Bingo Game.
The y's Magic Carpet has it's origins in the court of the Queen of Sheba around 950BC. The Queen's alchemist, experimenting with dyes, produced several brown striped rugs that hovered several cubits above the ground. While enthralled by these rugs the Queen, then infatuated with King Soloman, ordered a green silk carpet embellished with silver, gold and precious stones. She then presented the carpet to the King whose exploits are part of flying carpet history. Brown stiped rugs were no longer in fashion and were discarded to the scrap pile in the weaving rooms. One weaver, y's Persian, took one of the brown rugs home to use on the floor of his humble dwelling. His five sons soon discovered the magical qualities of the carpet and their adventures are recorded in y's history. On his death bed, fearing family feuds over inheritance, he had the rug cut into five pieces, one for each son. And it came to pass that each male descendant inherited a piece of the y's Magic Carpet. Be very carful opening the container - the carpet may take off.
WARNING: The last recorded flight by a piece of this carpet was . . . . . . . . However, the owners take no responsibility for geocachers who might sit on the carpet, say the magic words (do not say "Bingo") and then find themselves transported to foreign parts.
You are required to sign the register attached to the carpet as proof that you understand the warnings and the consequences of not heeding the warnings. You will need to provide your own writing implement.
