Description
Help me! I've lost my mode of transportation!
To unlock me, the code is 5115.
My camo may be large, but the log is hiding under the seat.
Once you have done with me, please move me over a kilometre away, re-lock me (with the same code, you'll understand), and run AWAYYYYYYY!
Pictures are strongly encoraged, i'd like to know where it's gone to.
Yours sincerely
Princess Bronnie_1990.

Logs
Hi Bronnie - I can confirm that the bike was definitely locked securely when I left it. I would be very surprised if it was taken by a muggle, so I'm still hopeful someone has just forgotten to log it.
I noticed this cache was taken yesterday, but hasn't yet been logged. Don't go looking for it!
Moved to a quiet suburban street. In full view, beside the road. You'll see it as you approach. A true drive-by!
Gotcha! Love it! Thanks to black bunny for moving it here. I'll rehide very soon.

ok I put it here hoping someone would give it a lift interstate. you guys were not who I thought it would be!
Coords may be a tiny bit of a wild guess (thankyou, phone), but..it should be obvious.
My god, did the chain shrink? I had issues getting it around my original GZ!

Awww yay! I've been reunited!
best thing about it, it fits perfectly in my boot, unlike my latest bike which takes up the rest of the car
PS. You call THIS unsafe? Rivett? Really? Pfft, it used to live in Calwell. It's seen worse.

639. Santa lune was dropping this off as we drove in on our return from Melbourne. Very nice and will go out shortly - as it would have to considering the size.

Well that was a bit of fun! This reminds me of the wheelchair that went around a few years ago. Very well done, and how amusing to hear Sol de Lune's story of carrying through the Hawker shops after he grabbed it! Thanks Bronnie.

What a cracker....had a good laugh when I saw it just sitting there like any other bike at the local shops.
Will move on shortly..
Top marks Bronnie.

Sorry Bronnie. That was my princess tantrum.
Well nearly all of it.
I took it down to the shops and the tyre fell off it.
Brought it back and tried again.
Now it is out. It is not my problem any more.
Sorry it took so long.

We get down to fitting the new tube.
It always puzzles me why the weakest rider in any group will be equipped with the heaviest bike with the chunkiest (most roll resistant) tyres, while the fastest strongest rider is pampered with frame that ways less than my water bottle full and slick high pressure tyres.
Some time ago I realised that the beat way to improve MY riding experience was to put my son on a faster bike.
OK - so the tube went in. The tyre rim combination is not great though. The tube will blow off the rim at 20psi let alone the 40psi marked on the tube. Bitch! I don't know what to do with this though. Just be careful at speed.
I would love to have fitted some light weight slicks and drop handle bars but $$$.
Here is a photo of the proposed handle bars. Some nice track bars! Chain guard off to save weight.

We went an bought a new tube today.
Now to fit it. Nothing is easy with this princess. No quick release hubs here. I don't think that it was anticipated that any one would ever maintain the Princess. To get the back wheel off: loosen the rear hub nuts, and the locking nuts (you wouldn't want the rear wheel to slip under the incredible torque of the pink clad rider).
Then separate the chain guard into two components and untangle the outer section from the crank. Before the wheel can come off the chain has to come off. The Princess is after all a fixty with rear drop-outs. Before the chain can come off the remaining chain guard has to come off. The remaining chain guard is part of the bottom bracket assembly and I am not going there. Resort to force instead, chain guard gives way and chain comes free.
Wheel is now in hand.
Out of time will continue tomorrow.

When we picked up the princess she had a flat tyre. First thing then, re-inflate the tyre.
But to the sounds of a dry fart we realised that there was a larger problem than a simple puncture.
Upon slipping the tyre off the rim, to see the tube, we found that it was s real fair-dincum blow out.
It made a Loony Tunes explosion shape.
(Picture: Loony Tunes exploding tyre*
* "Blood" is fake - fake blood added for dramatic effect only, no actual blood occurred.)
Princess will not be fixed today!

Little princess you have a flat tyre.
I will see what I can do about that.
Maintenance on these wheeled thangs can be problem, I know.

Now that was crazy!Found it quickly then had over a 9km push bike ride home with it on the back of my back. All done now and is chained to a pine tree. Good luck! TFTC
Hi Bronnie, we noticed it didn't have a log when we found it, thought that had been muggles, so we added a sheet but only had small notebook with us so it won't last too long. Cheers
Hey guys, quick question.
Does this one have a log sheet in it?
I just found a log sheet in my car for a GA4764 and i'm now wondering if i forgot to put it in there (..OOPS!)

Found on an afternoon walk with the dog. A quick trip home down the hill.

Found while hunting for a little chopper hopper to no avail as it had already flown the nest.
Bumped into the Geeko's here and had a bit of a chat.
