Description
This flying saucer has already travellelled a fair long way so it should make a good moveable cache!
Intergalatic Travel is one of my entries in the Bingo Caching Games which runs throughout December and January. Please find this flying saucer, take it away, sign the log and re-hide it in a new location within 2 days, taking note of the new co-ordinates. You log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log as soon as you take it - this will give you your smiley!
Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log when you rehide it, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update on the map.
Logs
This disappeared a few years ago it seems. Thanks for the search to confirm it's not there
With teamMerlin we have checked the area for moveables, and none that were placed there in 2019 are still there.
We suggest this moveable be archived as its whereabouts is unknown, and it will save people continuing to come here to look
We suggest this moveable be archived as its whereabouts is unknown, and it will save people continuing to come here to look
Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.
An update will be posted within 28 days….

Moved up the mountains for the local geocacher to find.
Hovering over the Blue Mountains tomorrow so don't look here.
Too lonely on the warm south coast so will now be heading to cooler climes.

Moved closer to the coast as sick & tired of wombats bad habits.
Picked up as hiding another bunch here. Strike-a-light a wombat is defecating on GZ.

Moved with three others to the Wingello State Forest.
Saw these on the GCA email so decided to go for a drive. Found as described. Tourism central. Thanks.

The UFO has landed. It missed the nearby landing spot and crashed into the bushes nearby just missing smashing into a rock.
Found this intergalactic traveller on our way back from a visit to the local waste transfer station today. Its been in Tasmania for a while so we will move it on soon
A quick expedition to the Ulverstone area to hide some moveable caches before the grand final starts. Got them hidden and back home in time for the first bounce
A quick find while in the reserve to drop off a carload of dinosaurs. Picked this one up and left a dinosaur in it's place. TFTC
UFO took a couple of spins about Trevallyn before coming in for a landing. Awaiting next eager cacher.. thanks..!!
An early start for the day so that I could chase down a few moveables in the Trevallyn Reserve. A nice easy find and moved on straight afterwards.. thanks..!!

Dropped off after hiding some other moveables in the Trevallyn Reserve. I hope the coordinates are accurate as there were a few trees around which can interfere with the readings so I will give a good hint
This was on my “ shopping list “ for the day and thankfully I found it after a bit of walking around. It was well hidden , so well that I thought it may have been picked up but soon I had the big fellow in my bag. I noticed that there was another moveable nearby so I grabbed it as well TFTC Strike a Light
Grabbed this intergalactic traveller to move on. Nice to meet up again. TFTM

After enjoying a few parties with friends in our lounge room, Intergalactic has hit the skies again. If you are quick, you might gut be able to nab it at this refuelling spot before it flies to a distance galaxy.
This one was hanging around at the Seven Mile Beach event and several of the other moveables were hoping for a flight, but it just didn't seem to eventuate. Regardless, this flying saucer hovers above our car all the he way home and spent the night in our house with a few other moveables. Out again shortly.
I had not seen this cache before and didn't even know it was in town. Logged at the event (Catch-up and BBQ at Seven Mile Beach) tonight. We split all the movables up so unsure who took this one to rehide. Thanks strike-a-light

Found this at the event today, WW had turned up with a number of moveables so I logged all the one I had not seen before.

We were on a caching run in the North of the State and noticed a couple of moveables had been hidden near where we were headed and this was one of them. Intergalactic travel was found quickly due to the accurate coords and hint. We cached in torrential rain in the area which resulted in a change of clothes in a nearby carpark. Lucky no muggles were around. Thanks Intergalactic Travel for the cache. Will move south.
We found as many as we could as we will probably not be back in the area until after the States of the Nation games have finished.
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a dragon zone virtual verbosity trophy. We have just received the 100 word trophy, so now aiming for the 150 word trophy. For all new GCA cachers, a warning, write a decent log to start with in case you want to get these virtual trophies down the track. Having now passed 2000 GCA finds with a lot of one word logs (on many moveables) makes for a lot of typing now!
We are currently participating in the States of the Nation games which are running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and enjoying tracking and placing caches.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.

The States of the Nation games have helped boost our dragon zone points and we have achieved a few milestone trophies as well.
Have you joined a clan? Enhance your geocaching experience by joining a clan and being a part of the Dragon Zone. Choose a team Clan Griffin , Clan Phoenix , Clan Cerberus or Clan Minotaur . Earn trophies and rise through the ranks from Dragon Fodder to Ruler of the Universe.
whitewebbs are now a geocache themselves as we have published a 'Geocacher cache' GA10805 - Where's whitewebbs? - so if you spot us out and about in the field sign our log book and receive a code word to earn yourself a smiley.

In Launceston today for a family do and so used the opportunity to move this cache along
A quick find on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were going to be travelling in this direction today anyway so great to see a couple of moveable caches pop up on the map. Will move them towards the north of the state tomorrow. TFTC
OOPs we almost forgot that Intergalactic Travel flew off after Christmas and landed in the creepers under a tree
This is a very familiar area. We have been here three times in three days, first two days for FTF's on new caches and today to collect some moveables. Time to head to a very familiar moveable hiding spot, one that has been used frequently since moveables became part of summer games. We wouldn't have to rely on the GPS. We were glad that it was the weekend as this area can be quite busy. Having the area to ourselves was a bonus. The traffic was still whizzing along the highway to the north and above us but we could not be seen.
As we approached the hide we noticed the well used covering material. Mrs Y'stassie was elected to make the climb up the bank to GZ where she found the recently landed UFO snuggled down under its rocky blanket. Log was in good condition however the aliens must have left their space ship at an earlier stop or they were invisible as none were seen. After signing it was time to slither down the bank and deposit the flying saucer in the bag with the frog and the burglar. Then it was off to the next moveable.
We will release the UFO to continue its journey in the near future.

After hitching a ride in our suitcase Interglactic Travel has landed and is ready for action
We are currently touring Victoria with our geovan in tow, using geocaching as a guide. We have visited many amazing locations through geocaching and your moveable - Interglactic Travel - was one we found along the way.
Many thanks Strike-A-Light for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience. Took a bit to unearth this one but persistence paid off. The hint was helpful.

Found this one by chance, time to move it along. already logged a found on it in the past.
I was out last night for a GC FTF and remembered I still had some GCA moveables in my bag. On my way back to the car I found a nice safe looking spot and tucked this one in.
Thanks again Strike-a-light for the cache.
Thanks again Strike-a-light for the cache.
A bunch of moveables have collected not too far from work while I've been on holidays and there's even a few that I haven't found yet so a lunchtime run is in order.
I've had this one before but I grabbed tham all anyway. Five out, two in at this well worn spot.
Thanks strike-a-light for the moveable. I'll move it on soon.

A quick cache, walking around the area, while staying just up the road for a weeks holiday over christmas.
We've taken it with us and we will be rehiding it in the next week or so. Being so colourful, we'll need to be careful where it gets hidden.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Strike-a-light for particiaping in the game, some 2 years old now.

Found this evening at the Bingo Cache Party, but left for others to find/move as I didn't need the number.

Life has interrupted the game for the last few days so I carefully allocate a short time this afternoon to put back out the moveables I've found this week. Third drop of seven for today.

I was finishing up work in the CBD and as it was still quite early I thought I could swing by a few Bingo caches if there were any on route. After a brief check I had a cluster of four identified and was heading out of the office. Arriving near GZ I made a short climb to a quick find.
Thanks Strike-a-light, will move on soon
