Description
Mission to Mars
Mission to Mars is a spaceship that likes to travel very far. It is very big (about 1 metre tall) and so should be easy to spot although it is painted brown and black so it might be camouflaged into its surroundings. To open Mission to Mars just unscrew the bottom of the rocket. All of the cache goodies and logbook / pen will be found inside the rocket. Make sure you open it the right way otherwise everything will fall out and you'll be doing more hunting for fallen treasures than you will for Mission to Mars itself. Mission to Mars is made of the top of a traffic cone which forms the nose, plywood fins and a long PVC water pipe for the body. With a screw on bottom, this makes Mission to Mars the finest geocache around. On Mission to Mars itself you will find a QR code. The QR code can be scanned with your smart phone and can take you either directly to the cache log page or if you have the GA Cacher app for Android will start the app so you can make your log (find or move) directly in the field. In order to qualify as a move for the "Bingo" cache game for 2012/2013 you must move Mission to Mars at least 1 kilometre from where you found it. If you could be so kind as to leave a note in your log that you have taken the cache with you, it will help others who may be looking for the cache. I hope you enjoy Mission to Mars and it travels well and far. Of course, the best thing about a moving cache is that you don't have to be cunning when trying to find it. Be obvious. Take it and run away as fast as you can. |

Baby loved the bubbles
I think this qualifies as the most impressive travelling cache I've seen thus far. I'd have shifted it up along the Murray, but the car was already full of retired cache parts and my luggage.
Took a swaggie with me instead.
I'll move a little closer towards an airport that may be able to send on it's way.
Certainly the biggest bingo I've picked up so far.
TFTC
It has been dropped temporarily on the way to a new hiding place and caughtatwork will update the final hide soon.
Young fella is very impressed.
Cheers gordo
