Description

Well more of a Jar than a can

Powertrails are a craze that seem to be sweeping the geocaching world. Love or hate them they are here to stay it seems. In the good ol' US of A they have trails up to 1,500 caches. Here in Oz we are a bit lazier. We have much smaller trails seemingly usually between 10 and 30 caches. We even have the smallest powertrail, Roundcircle’s Aussie powertrail of a single cache. Even Canberra is in on the powertrail action with the Tuggeranong hill powertrail series and the bikers series.

However, powertrails are still too much effort. Having to move at least 160m to find the next micro seems like a lot of effort, and the worlds shortest one does not boost your stats enough to make it a really worth it. But what’s the solution?

Well this cache is!

A powertrail of 10 caches all conveniently located in a single jar. Like all good number boosting caches these are micros and hidden unimaginably and in a boring park with no interesting features in suburbia. Somewhat like Zalgariath's -= POISON CACHE =- there is nothing going for it except to flush out number hunters. Like this cache I will also post a wall of shame for those who don't log it online as found (provided I'm motivated enough, after all it is a lazy cache).

In order to claim each cache you must fill in each of the logs after all you should have to do something to be able to boost your stats. I will delete any online log that is not on the cache log.

This is a limited time only cache due to the absurdity of it (I kind of feel dirty placing it), so grab your numbers before numbers run out.

Well if Tankengine can't find it and reckons it's no longer there then thats good enough for me. Archived.

While Anna got her nails done, I thought I would dash down to Tuggeranong quickly for a handful of finds.
Tougher than I expected in the dark, but quickly achieved nonetheless.
Thanks.

Grabbed this one with Ju after a stage practice at Erindale tonight. As we approached GZ the cache was sitting there exposed.

After retreating to the Geomobile we signed the logs and replaced the cache with the described camo. TFTPT Clapping

I like the aspect of Urambi Hills from this area. Inspecting the contents of the jar was quite amusing. I thought it worthy of trotting back to the car to happily log in air-conditioned warmth. T4TCs

Took a while to find but ok. The clue really helped. Very cool concept! Nice area. TFTC. Clapping

A couple of the logs were a bit resistant to coming out but a quick flick of the wrist solved that, though this of course meant searching for the log after it had balistically? departed the container, no worries though all found and signed off. TBC TFTC's

The second one-stop power trail Ive done in the last 2 weeks, having also done RoundCircle's power trail in Ballarat. Only four to go!

Thanks cantanga for the novel caches.

Found very easily, and we set up a handy production line of signing in the car, all going beautifully until Mr W dropped one of the little lids under the seat Doh Thanks Catanga for the fun.

We were not very good squirrels today, took ages to find this nutty cache. Cool in the end though, all found and signed, sealed delivered. TFTMs.

I spent a couple of minutes beforehand, at home, making premade stickers with my name and the date, so it would be just an easy process to sign all the logs, but noooo..i did the first one, and went "ok, this doesnt work.."
Time to find a pen.

An interesting idea for a power trail.....and as the saying goes, you post it and they will come.

My visit was after dark and it tok a couple of minutes to find the cache. Signed the logs in the comfort of the car and then replaced the cache as found.

Thanks for a different type of cache.

Found in the dark with Albida now thats what I call a fast powertrail TFTC

After the initial find in the dark, the challenge was to get the notes out ! Thanks.

Found with McPhan. TFTC Smile

308. Only one log was dropped in the car whereas, I think 3 containers disappeared down the side of the seat to be retrieved by McPhanKid's long, twig like fingers.

TFTC and the ribbons against the wind.

That being said, one of them I didn't roll particularly tightly and just shoved it back in. Oh well.

A new challenge completed in a power trail series, to find or not to find.

An interesting idea cantanga and well done variation on Zal's Poison cache.

All found and signed. Thanks for the cache(s)

I'm not just into caching for the stats, but I couldn't let the opportunity for a quick and easy power trail go, especially if it is time limited. Found all ten. TFTC

Weirdness, Loopiness, CRAZINESS, madness, BUT FUN. Found and signed all.

Alas, try as I might, I could not find this cache! Sad A little like not seeing the trees for the forest I think! I did search for a while, but eventually my patience wore off… I’ll be back! Maybe…

I'm sure it's not there - needs owner check...
