Description
Two Cool Hand Luke is dedicated to cleaning up his environment, wherever he is placed he wants a clean spot to while the time away.
As some of you will know Two Cool Hand Luke was rescued by Silke a great photographer and diving aficionados, between Shelly and Manly near the 'Fairy Bower' dive site. This poor Gnome escaped from some unknown location using home made MacGyver type scuba gear, shows how you can recycle rubbish into useful items if you put your mind to it. In fact he is so attached to this gear that he wears it all the time, he will not give it up.
He is a great exponent of the 'Two Hands Project" check it out on:
http://www.twohandsproject.org/register-your-project/
It would be appreciated if when you find and move him you could take a picture of the rubbish you collect around the site and post it to show it can be done. Also you can get an extra smiley on the locationless by Zalgariath:

And remember always CITO, 'Cache In, Trash Out' that way we can keep our playground clean and enjoyable.

Logs
Let's hope Luke is on one of his secret missions and will reappear very soon, see his story on:
http://www.twohandsproject.org/2012/12/30/the-story-of-luke/
I didn't know this little guy's mission at the time, but none the less I CITOed the previously left trash from the table at the event. The universe wanted me to have another smiley (although I didn't take a picture of it, but there were witnesses, yer honour).
TNLNSL. Thanks and Happy New Year rogerw3.
Even though it doesnt look like he has moved far from the Event, we actually took him home, then took him out on the following Saturday when we were out doing maintenance but ran out of time to hide him, took him out on the Sunday but totally forgot we had him with us, GMelb took him out to dinner on Monday night but it was too late by the time the dinner finished to hide him and so finally today JMelb took him on her weekly walk around Blackburn Lake with her! It took a full round of the lake before the GPS got down to 5m accuracy - that was the lowest it would get. Batteries were also low so hopefully the co-ords are good. The hint will help!
No one took him so we have taken him home and will hide him probably next weekend
TFTG rogerw3 .... wonder where he was hiding all this time??
GJMMelb
You had a marvelous history and beginning, almost too cool and too much to believe.
And then you saw some amazing travels.
Hope you found a good home in the end.
It was such a great story they have made a live show on it. Not sure of the choice of actor to play Luke but here is the venue. Sadly I didnt have time to attend to pass review on its accuracy
He is resting on the shore at the moment while waiting for next move.
Good luck
Arrived near GZ.. realised there was a scout hall with kids around there. thought this cache must have been found by other cacher.
But decide to have a double check when the scout kids have gone home with their parents. Curious any one of them cacher???
Finally after half hour wait. Dive in the bush with my torch. Whoo its still there...
Love your cache.. good humour
Will move on asap.
Hehehe, the cache i found that belongs to you was the one that's named after this scout group! hah!
As for the cache, we left it in the same position in which it was left by Bronnie, who coincidentially logged one of my caches nearby the other day. This is a great idea, and te kids and I found a few bottles in the bushes in which this gnome resided so we popped them in our garbage bag as well as some other litter found on the street. We did our bit of CITO and will post a photo to prove it.
Thanks for a great 1000th
WELCOME TO VICTORIA/MELBOURNE!!!!!
Staying outside the scout hall i was at.
He's doing a great job at reminding me to CITO, and stealing my coffee.
Noticed these three gnomes pop up nearby work, so..oh, a detour was required.
Nearly got busted by actew muggles working on the nearby water tanks, but..camera's hide anything. Yay for being able to run away!
Now him, Harry, and GeoPirate are sitting in my garden, having coffee. I sure hope they arent trying to talk GeoPirate out of retirement.
TFTG and the second new man.
A chance to catch up with some Sydney cachers that we have only parried with on the forums, enjoy some good company and swap some tags.
It was nice to catch up with this mysterious fellow and see that his rehabilitation has gone so well.
Thanks for the gnome
Thanks for the gnome
It was a great day! The gnomes enjoyed it, and so did the non-gnomes.
Good food, good company, good pathtags, and magnificent weather and views!
Meet a few gnoming aficiandos and even eat my way through a couple of gnome cup cakes (Thanks to Just a Cacher for those) while signing (almost) all the logs.
A great way, and a great spot, to spend an hour or 2.
Thanks to all who attended, great to meet you, along with the gnomes.
Don't go looking for him before Saturday the 2nd of July, he won't come out and play until then!
(Two Cool Hand Luke is undertaking a special GFF mission to One Tree Hill.)
He's made great progress since his 'operation' at Clwydd.
Do not go looking for him there, this is a top secret location and not at the published co-ords.
After his good work -- and close call -- in the Dural area, he may well be going to receive specialised training.
I'm not sure.
Watch for more information from the GFF Clwydd Headquarters . . .
Two Cool Hand Luke wasn't quite where I expected him to be . . .
There are a number of GFF 'look outs' in the part of Quarry Road and I'd checked the wrong one.
What a relief!
He's in good health and quite up beat psychologically, and will now be re-assigned by the GFF to another area.
I'll drive over again in the next 48 hours and have another look around the 'look out' area.
His offsider Harry the Gnome was still on duty -- sort of. I found Harry lying on the ground and replaced him back up at his look-out post.
Hope someone has officially 'found' this gnome and is just a bit slow with the log . . . it's a worry.
He says he needs new friends since he can't remember the old ones!
What will his next mission entrail?
Watch this space!
Who would have thought that our famous 'mystery gnome' would turn up in a little park near Pennant Hills Station?!
And he's so well presented . . .
The GFF 'extreme makeover' has really suited him.
I asked him a few questions and he confirmed that he remembers nothing of his past except for his recent instructions from a Senior GFF Official in Clwydd.
However, he's able to spell C L W Y D D correctly and remembers his special new GFF Secret Identity Number.
He's currently in the front seat of the GeoBuru2 and I'll have to deliver him to carry out his new GFF mission in the next couple of days.
'Four Thumbs Up' for a great new outfit!
Don't go looking for him he has already moved on!
