Description
Every mass migration is made up of individuals; this gnome is part of a mass migration of gnomes throughout Australia!
This gnome is participating in a mass gnome migration called The GeGnome Project. I think the idea of gnomes racing all over Australia is just fantastic, so I had to add a few entried. Please note that this cache does not have physical log. As a moveable cache each finder must log it online, so rehiding the cache will also prove you actually have found it.
This mass migration has a few rules (not guidelines):
- The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2010 AEST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2011 AEST.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period.
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the cache mover may move your cache back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache.
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days.
There are prizes up for grabs not just for cache owners but for cache movers too, so check out the moveable gnomes!

This cache looks like it's MIA so to stop it turning up in the search lists we'll archive it. If the owner can confirm it's in place they can reactive the listing by placing an unarchived log against the cache.
I emailed Tanso and asked if they could remember where they were placed.
She went one better and checked out the site!
Unfortunately, they are not there
Probably time to Archive, unless someone picked them up and ran off with them

Got to GZ, had a look around. Hard to tell if there - the obvious places have *a lot* of dumpers come by. Which is sad.
I'll message Tanso to see if he can tell me exactly where I might be digging!

Went hunting for this one, but couldn't find any sign of it.

After a long time lost it is great to see this gnome back in circulation. I grabbed him at a late night visit. Thanks

Saw this one at the trivia event today. Left it for someone else to move on. Great to see it alive and kicking.
#GA203 - 09:30; I had an idea about where little Mass Gnome Migration 1 might be, so a quick email and a prompt response saw him make his grand appearance at the Spring Time Trivia Time - 2014 Event. Out of hibernation, he will be back on the move soon! TFTC Snuva

Well, after two years, this appeared at the Spring Time Trivia Time event in Canberra. I logged it in the hands of luckyL10n for the benefit of the Cerberus Clan in DragonZone - thank you for letting me log them. Very cool. Hope this continues to travel soon. TFTC!

I stopped here to check on these today even though I have been told the previous finder took them and put them somewhere unknown. It may be best to follow them up or set them to archived. Thanks

Grabbed on a mass-finally-grabbing-those-moveables-that-are-really-close-to-home raid.
All the gnomes/frogs/sistemas here filled up two bags! TWO! Then when i let them loose in the car, they were chatting and chatting (who would of thought, sistema containers can talk..) the whole way home! Oh the croaking and...gnomeing!!
I may of gotten a bit to enthusiastic putting his log back in, and the cork fell into the hole. Sorry.

Found in the boot of a shadowy saloon car late in the evening. Left in said boot.

A soggy find for the 29th of Feb in an accursed location! No migratory bird around for this gnome to follow today so I left him in the rain.
Finally found a quiet time to visit the start of the Curse of the three gnomes and log the ones I had'nt found previously.
Mass Gnome Migration 1 at least has company while he remains stagnant at this spot.

Cheers

Ironically, this gnome is part of a mass gnome migration to the site of the curse (http://coord.info/gc2mn96). So now that the prophecy has been fulfilled, what happens next?
Thanks Snuva!
Thanks Snuva!
Let it be known that this location is now CURSED!
I lifted the overhang very carefully and this gnome jumped out at me. Fortunately I caught him before he hit the ground.
Lift up the middle of the middle overhang carefully, He is hiding there watching the ocean from his flowery vantage point.
This gnome was almost out of place amongst all those hoppy frogs, hope the frogs and gnomes play nicely together.

Discovered on the table with many other frogs at the Christmas event today! Grabbed him to live on the western side for a short time! He has no log book so I will inject him with some waterproof paper for a log.

Found this little gnome at the Rymall Park cachers picnic - didnt take it though.
random thing from us here in the 'leaving for the country' Scene of junior masterchef australia season 2 first aired 23/10/11 there is a garden gnome identical to this one that the camera zoom up onto as the car leaves this movelbles colours are slightly mor faded but that would be expected for a gnome that has been outside for a long time
Collected in its shopping-bag package of six moveables from Kenneth Stirling Conservation Park in the Adelaide Hills. How convenient, although some of them no longer have logbooks, or GCA codes! Will move them on some time soon.
We've returned this moveable back a little closer to civilisation, hoping it may continue it's roaming ways.
Currently hidden with six other moveables, and conveniently packed into a sturdy carry bag to make it easier for the next finder to grab them.

This gnome is no longer at the current coordinates...
...as he's spending the night at our house!
I'm surprised he hasn't been accidentally found. The locals mustn't visit this tranquil spot very often.
Will move him down to the Adelaide Hills tomorrow.

The slasher had been through, and we were worried about his safety. Found him and moved him onto an island paradise (S34 03.683 E137 35.212)
This is the first time we have found/moved one of these gnomes - please let us know if we have not logged it properly. Thanks.

Looked in all the obvious places but no luck - left another gnome there though ....

Didn't get to move this gnome as far as we wanted, but it's back in circulation now. Very close to the local tourist railway.
Picked this weary traveller up just after the Wallaroo ANZAC march.
He can come home with us to relax for a while before hitting the road probably next weekend.
Thanks Snuva.
Edit: There's no logbook attached to this gnome!?!

The quiet achiever.. He just sits around waiting to be dropped off again on his next adventure...
Finally kicked this one out on the side of the road.
What is the new location for this gnome, I want to grab him before I go Home!!! Cheers OldSaint.
if you go up to the falls today you're in for a big suprise,
the waters tumbling over the rocks and there's lots of places to hide
every gnome we ever could find are roundabout the pathways beside
because the gnomes are having a holiday
Remember to take a big bag if you are collecting several gnomes!
The GC cache Falling silver needs a dry logbook and new plastic bags
We recommend parking at the top of Clegg Road if you only want a short walk.
These two kin never stop. They are constantly disagreeing with everything said. Then when Harry the Hippie jumped into the car it just got worse. After several hours of bedlam we could take it no more. They were left arguing as a trio. Hopefully the peace of the nearby building will have an effect. They are right in the corner and outside the fence. Goodluck poor finder!

Today Quilter saw a joyous celebration,
a family reunion is the occasion.
Not far up the road the brothers did fight,
and Quilter regrets the fraternal re-unite.
Cross Creek she did reach the end of her tether,
and kicked the gnomes out into the weather.
Sent the junior caches down as there were no free parking spots. So I waited in the shade in the car with the window down. Idiot woman gets to carpark complaining loudly that some stupid person has parked her in. So out of my open window I informed her that the stupid person is still in the car, and that I wouldn't be that rude! Then I Gnabbed her vacated shady carpark and headed down the hill with the hint to help the kids out. Gnabbed the gnome and a feather . Cheers Quilter.

But he did not want to roam
So left him in this starry zone

As I sat at work today
You can imagine my dismay
All the gnomes were out to play
And this thing called work was in my way.
As the time came to go home
This one that was not in the zone
Did pop up on the email phone
And so I grabbed him and logged this gnome
Cheers Quilter

Was looking at about 2pm (at Ruchmond), must have only missed it by the size of a GeGnome!
Now I fill a little bit better. Good view of the airport.
Prior to finding this fellow, we were a bit worry about its health condition , why was he in the cemetery ground thou he passed health check . But, we went and found him in good nick. .
GPS giving some dodgy reading under the cloud cover but have checked co-ordinates in Google Earth and seems to be pretty good. He said he didn't like ivy because it made him itchy so I put him on the other side of this quiet little area.
This fella has received a body transplant and there have been no complications. He is fit and healthy and will be back out today.
Checked the location and GPS took us to within 2 metres of him. Checked his tree and alas he is gone. Hope he has been found and will be logged soon.
At work and have checked co-ordinates in Google Earth and still seem to be spot on. He is in the fork of a tree that you can just see to the left driving up to the lookout about head height. We had terrible trouble with our IPhone GPS with cloud cover but have verified the co-ordinates in Google Earth Satellite. Will have a look on way home to see if he is still in place if not found. There is a house right on the corner of the turnoff but no-one appeared to be around when he was dropped off.
Went looking for this one as I was on my way to dodges ferry to drop kids off for a camp.
No luck looking at this site
On the way back to the car I noticed I couldn't have collected anyway.....
I was second last finder
I was just looking for another solider for Rommells army.....

Looked high and low but no go!!! Co-ords had me in the open area, looked in the stump, trees, under sags but no gnome to go. Cheers OldSaint.
Well gz was in the open so we looked in all head height spaces we could find in a 20 metre radius. No luck. Maybe he ran away because of all the rubbish on the ground.

He spent the day admiring our christmas tree and became inspired to go and sleep in the outdoors beneath his own trees. He was going to use our hedge, but we offered to drive him closer tot he city in the hope he would get picked up quicker.
This little guy spent New Years Eve soaking up the view of the Batman Bridge. Now he's ready to keep travelling.
Found this little fella and decided to help him celebrate the New Year with a trip.
After a large Christmas dinner this Gnome decided to find a quiet spot for a nap.
Placed all three wise gnomes together for Christmas
the last we seen of him he was hitching a ride with Beau (our cat) over the back fence into the park
apologies to anyone that may have looked for this gnome, we found him later in the afternoon yesterday and totally forgot to log him.
Didn't make it west....must be lame so only a short hop away....Cheers.
All lonely too....looked as if someone had tried to find. Go west young gnome.....go west.

Well, I am out again in a lovely location. The GPS seems a little unreliable so the hint may help.
