Description

This one is located near the Nanango Hospital on Public Land.  Brisbane Street between Drayton street and the Hospital has a really good hill.  This hill is used every year as part of the Nanango King and Queen of the mountain  foot race and recognised Australian and international runners do take part.  From the land at the top of the hill there is a wonderful view to the South and West of Nanango.  The most recognisable features are the chimney stacks of the two power stations at Tarong and the huge telstra transmission  mast adjacent to the power stations. This should be a quick find.  Small container with swaps and pencil.

Found quite quickly, and some good views from this spot. This was my 10th physical cache for the day (also nabbed a virtual and a locationless), which is a new personal best for me, and pushed the wife's caching endurance to a new limit, so had to be the final for the day. Looking on the bright side, there are still more caches to do next time I travel up this way. TFTC

A quick find in a quiet part of this busy town, thanks.

There really is a good view from here although my eyesight made it a struggle to find the towers in the distance. A pair of binoculars would have been useful. We wandered over to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Nice spot for a break. TFTC

There were some good views from up here today, good enough for some chap to come park his car and read his paper here! We were able to see the power stations without trouble, but the antenna proved a little harder, so we sidled along, loudly exclaiming "Maybe from over here! Or maybe a bit further and we can see it!" until we were conveniently standing on GZ. Ah the things we do to distract muggles. TFTC ='.'=

I wonder if Fuddley's muggle was the same one as we encountered today. He didn't look like he was going anywhere soon so parked the car at an appropriate angle and used the grandkids as a distraction as well. Found the cache OK.

Our day trip to Nanango is almost over, but we still had time to take in the views from this location. The cache was easily located and after checking out the Apex Lookout, we headed on our way. TFTC John

Nice quiet spot, classic country architecture on the hospital. I'm wondering if you set this cache so you could keep an eye on the cachers who visit, eh, youngoldfella? TFTC.

Great view from up here, one muggle sitting in his car in the carpark meant that I had to wait a while before I could grab the booty.
