Thankyou so much for running this event today n0w0rries, my first GA event, and the ability to catch up with a lot of familiar faces. I only just made it in time to sign the log book, but the day continued afterwards with a few other firsts for me as well. As a real newcomer to this aspect of Geocaching - I've only been doing this for a week, I came armed with a list of questions, and came away with both a lot of answers. Hopefully this old brain will retain most of it.
A very special thanks to Rod who introduced me to some very interesting caches this arvo, before delivering me to the railway station, for my long journey back home, arriving at nine o'clock tonight. You were the perfect host I'll have to run an event in Shepparton and return the favour.

Enjoyed the intimate little event in the shadow of a nightmare from the past. I saw Paul Salmon do his knee here many years ago.

Go Victoria! To be honest, the only time I have ever been close to this venue was to find a (now archived) GC cache in the turnstiles.
I would like to thank all of those who attended our very first GCA event, without you it would have been a non-event.
Thanks also to geo_jas for bringing his cache with him and for rescuing gegnome2Fernweh*goldy from up there on the hill where I left him.
Thanks to cathlud for the GCA Pathtags, a much treasure addition to our ever growing collection and congratulations on finding the first to find for this our first event.

Hoping to attend my first GA Event. When I first looked at GA several years ago and there was only one GA cache in my area I gave it a miss. Not knowing about locationless caches then. I am really looking forward to participating fully now and hope to spend my day in Melbourne learning as much as possible.
