07-Dec-14
gone missing again

07-Dec-14
Poked about for this one & the very nearby GC "two for one" deal from robtas. Came up empty on both counts.

14-Jun-13
Looked high and low for this one (maybe not high Cool ) but didn't find, about to walk away when found camo'd small container. Afraid this one may have been muggled. TFTC

14-Oct-12
This one defeated us. We looked in rock clefts, under rock clefts, behind rock clefts and through rock clefts, but alas we didn't find a cache. We will watch future logs and have another crack in due course.

30-Jun-12
Great day for caching, beautiful rain. Found easy. Thanks. SL and replaced.

30-Jun-12
nice and easy find by geoson even in the rain

01-Feb-12
My third go at this cache and needed to phone a friend. But I got help and found it eventually. Tftc

03-Dec-11
This cache took lots of persistence to find! We searched, read previous logs, searched, read more logs, scratched like chooks, bandicoots and possums and couldn't come up with the goods. The rocks our GPS kept point to couln't be right as we'd mined to the core of the earth. Widened our search again and a cache found. Found more by pure luck than good management. Signed the log with a 'phew'and replaced as found. TFTC.

11-Oct-11
What's all the fuss about, lol. Just kidding, we made an easy find as the container was sitting out in the open. Maybe some small rodent and I dont mean the hooded variety kicked it out of its home.TFTC

10-Sep-11
This cache has been my bain for numerous trips north. This time I came armed with photos from Oldsaint and a promise from him that the cache was there.

Anyway I walked the now familiar walk to ground zero with Geo Kids A and E. Geo Kid E has been with me before to this park of DNF's, but it was Geo Kid A's first visit.

Low and behold before I could start to find the pictures, or refer to the notes Old Saint had sent me Geo Kid A had the cache in hand asking what was so hard about that. I said I have definently searched there before, with no luck.

Thank you Old Saint for the help not used and thank you Robtas for the cache that now is off my hit list.

30-Apr-11
A bonus as I wasn't going to look for this cache. If Budgie can't find it, I didn't think I could. However, got on my knees and logged the cache at 0759hrs. TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.

30-Mar-11
No luck for me today.

23-Mar-11
Stopped by in my GA onslaught and walked to gz. Even with the hint this sucker was a little hard to find. I expanded my search and after 5 min had CIH. Gps showed 5m at gz. Cache is also a micro, not small, little confusing. Film canister was a little tricky to find and retrive, but I got it. SL and returned. Plenty of cover here alright.

07-Mar-11
Third Trip to this cache and again no luck

Obviously I am not meant to find this one????

06-Mar-11
A bit hard to find, took a lot of searching!

06-Mar-11
We spent some time on this one but came up with the goods engaged chook scratching mode, Clapping

08-Oct-10
Great spot ! Must be careful of muggles ! Very Happy

03-Oct-10
Sorry not sure what date this was found, forgot to log, but TFTC Embarassed

17-Sep-10
Second visit to this park with no sucess

I understand it is there - but it is avoiding me

19-Aug-10
was tricky cache to find as gps didnt want to behave and three pairs of eyes almost overlooked it

19-Aug-10
managed to get this one even after looking straight at it quick log then off again

19-Aug-10
This took a little longer to find than expected due to equipment malfunction(GPS died, as I didn't put fresh batteries in Mad ) TFTC

26-May-10
After reading the logs we approached this search with a little uncertainty. We looked in many places without success. Then we went back to basics and used our GPS in approaches from three different directions. The cache was then found near the intersection of our three lines. At one stage some muggles arrived for a smoke but our rather loud comments about the variety of fungi in the area somehow persuaded them to go elsewhere. TFTC

19-Apr-10
Reading the logs helped me zero in on GZ. Cache was smaller than expected so it was a good thing I had a good feel around. TNLN

19-Feb-10
Found quite easily on our second attempt. TFTC

04-Jan-10
Had a good poke around - at least the one with no inchman bites on his leg did! (check log for "Scout it Out!!"). Couldn't come up with the goods this time.

23-Nov-09
I had the impression the the search needed to be widened, but wasn't comfortable about hunting around for too long close to people's home. I've since read all the logs (I only had the last three with me at the time), and I'll have another hunt next time.

09-Sep-09
Jumped out of the car without reading the previous logs and was very quickly on our way back to the car to read them... lesson learnt Smile Thanks for the cache.

09-Sep-09
After a quick, but fruitless, first search we stopped to read the previous logs. This pointed us in the right direction and the cache was quickly located.

02-May-09
About to give up on this one when we found in a spot we'd already searched. The sound of the stick hitting the plastic was the clincher. Just proves that you need all your senses when geocaching.

nice place to take kids

05-Apr-09
nice and easy tftc

05-Apr-09
Used the little hint from SnP's log and went straight to it.
Thanks robtas

22-Feb-09
A tricky little one, kids found it easily once they had the hint.

16-Feb-09
Found while out caching with MullinitOvr. I found it once we resorted to the hint and decided not to trust the GZ 2 GPSrs agreed upon!

Thank you for the cache.

16-Feb-09
Found with Snuva who was up for a night, had to resort to the hint, but Snuva found it easily. TFTC

03-Jan-09
Interesting collection of rocks here. I zeroed out at the wrong clump of them and spent quite a while in a fruitless search, but found it easily when looking a bit further afield.
Thanks for the hunt, Robtas.

02-Jan-09
#7 of 14 caches found today.
Coords seemed to take us alittle too far SW?, but we located it fairly quickly.
TNLN
Thanks ROBTAS

01-Jan-09
Found this one with mini cachers in tow looking for the playground?? They were quickly on to this one and was handing the goods to me to sign in no time. Thanks

31-Dec-08
Good Hide
co-ords weren't quite spot on but close enough
SL TFTC

07-Dec-08
This was our first micro - well we thought it was pretty small. It could have been a lot harder if it wasn't sitting right on top. TNLNSLog-scroll Smile

02-Dec-08
No muggles about so after a short search cache was sighted and noted Thanks Robtas

19-Oct-08
Second time lucky, Without the clue and look for a micro will help

14-Oct-08
This time around walked straight to the spot...must have had blinkers on before. Also log is quite damp....couldn't do anything about it...so will need looking at. Chap where I parked was a tad inquisitive....so to ease his mind...gave him a laminated stashnote to convey what I was doing. He was certainly appreciative and interested and after another chat....and some assistance to help him get his car up onto some car ramps...I was on my way.At least he'll know what people are up to over near the rocks....and not trying to 'case' the joint....lol.Also turned out he used to race against Neville Harper(recently deceased)....quite a friendly chap. Thanks robtas for the interesting and pleasant time....Cheers.

26-Sep-08
Found after a short search.
TNLN.

18-Jul-08
Tried this one in the dark but to no avail.....

23-Jun-08
Another one of those days...looked in likely spots...again no go. Cheers.

17-May-08
Nice little park with noone around today.
A neighbours dog knew I was there and insisting on barking its head off.
Thankfully the cache was found fairly quickly.
Thanks Robtas.

14-May-08
Slipped into the park and found this one quickly. Have driven past here many times without noticing this spot.
Great little spot for the local kids to meet and ‘hang out’ thanks for bringing me ‘back’ past this area RT.
TNLNSL Surprised)
