Description
A small lock-n-lock container.
Lillydale Lake is a man made lake in Lilydale, about 45 kilometres east of Melbourne. It is a beautiful place where many people can go for a paddle, ride there bikes and have picnics and barbeques.
The lake was built to protect the township of Lilydale from flooding after big storms. Construction began in May 1988 and was completed in June 1990. It was officially opened on July 5th 1991. The total cost of building Lillydale Lake was around 2 million dollars.
There are some beautiful wetland areas around the lake to visit with many species of birds to be seen. The most common sightings are ducks, parrots, cockatoos and owls.
This cache is being placed on the day we held my son's 2nd birthday party at the lake.
Initial contents include: Thomas the Tank Engine, plastic giraffe, plastic racing car, plastic spinning top, Corona pin & a squishy face.

Logs
David.
Sorry to all for the delay, I just got no response from the Cache Owner so I have now retrieved it from where I temporarily placed it and put it back where it was originally.
Aiming for a 50 cache run with only 7.5 hours was a little too ambitious. Of course we did not manage 50 but I got to about 35 which was pretty good. We had started off well in the start, but a couple of long trail runs, heavy bushwhacking and off-trail hiking really threw us off. It was a lot better slowing things down and enjoying the adventure than racing for time.
We didn't find this one. While reading the logs we noticed that it has been moved. Please update the latest coords for this cache so cachers do not waste time searching at the wrong area.
We had tried once before but there were too many muggles around to search well.
I could not believe what I was witnessing when approaching GZ for this cache. There were 2 little muggle kids with muggle bikes playing in the garden bed, one picks up a systema container that is well hidden, opens it and empties the contents into the garden, and continues to play on the old tree. I waited until he moved away, quickly retrieved the box and contents and have temporarily hidden it in another location. which I will email to the owner I did not want to re-hide in the same spot while those kids were around.
Thanks to Team Roobok for the cache. TNLN
Did enjoyed there today.
Walked around the lake.

Beautiful day for relaxing, chatting with friends and fishing too.
Found it with Laker63 and crank1 to support each other without any muggles take notice of us.
Nice hide
What a terrific day out the combined families came up this way today to do some berry picking. After eat a bit in the field we headed out to lunch to the local bakery - it however was closed. We still however pulled up at this park.
King Sr stated he had been here before for other caches but I don't recall - anyway; I loved the playground and surrounds and we all spent some time here playing before soing home.
The cache was found without incident and we decided to leave a Gnome that is taking part in the Gnome Race here boxed within your cache.
Our thanks to Team RooBok ad happy birthday Joshua
TNLNSL TFTC.
It took a while but eventually the cache gave itself up - making this our second GCA find.

Thanks Team RooBok
everytime we've been past, there has been too many muggles about. Finally, as we came around the corner, there was no-one to be seen.

Trip was not totally wasted =oP
Thanks to all the cachers for the heads-up.
Passing coin through as part of the Veni, Vidi, Vici game at cachinggames.com and doing some maintenance at the same time.

TFTC. Any cache in a location like this is worth stopping.
Another GCA cache found and logged. This one was tricky due to the many muggles on the nearby playground. I was able to grab the cache unseen however. Cache was full of dirty brown water, logbook was damp but was still able to be written into. TNLN
We came out to this side of town from the very west of Melbourne today just to grab the 5 Red Earths and this GCA cache. Always a pleasure to see some other GCA caches coming up on the radar.
As Geodes mentioned, this cache is so very, very close to a former cache in this area. Only about 2m from my recollection.
That particular container ws gnawed at by furry animals, so you may need to keep and eye on this one just to make sure it doesn't get eaten. As per Geodes' comments, the cache container is not waterproof and I had to empty some more water out of it today even though I don't think it has rained overnight.
Condensation is a problem with these types of containers and as they flex in and out with the change in temperatures, small amounts of moisture get in and over time will cause the swaps to get all icky.
Nevertheless once the cache was found the two girsl screamed off for the playground while I did the logging. We spent another 15 minutes or so playing on the playground. It's certainly the right ace to entertain kids, but it's also so high in muggles, so future finders may end up being seen despite their stealth tactics.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks DelBoy1203. It's good to find another 2 GCA caches. Especially ones I haven't hidden myself Thank you for supporting the site.

GAFF 1
When I saw this one - and checked the map to see where it was, memories started flooding back - there was once a short series of caches around Lilydale Lake (the "Ultimate" series of 5 caches) which were so absolutely exposed to muggle view that they were the curse of many cachers. They were some of the earliest caches I did and I still have strong memories of them (the "Cashin's Mill" one was quite an amazing hide in its 1st incarnation) and it looked as though this one was going to be placed very close to where the 1st one in the series had been. As it turns out, it is hidden on the same object, although in a slightly different position and the deja vu was almost overwhelming . This area is virtually never free of muggles, even on lousy days in the middle of winter, but today wasn't too bad and, under cover of taking off my pack, helmet, gloves, jacket, etc and fumbling through them as if looking for something, I was able to be (hopefully) surreptitious in my search and was able to locate the cache fairly easily. I was surprised that it's quite a big one for such a position and, unfortunately, it had quite a bit of water in it. I emptied it out, and the log book is fine in its ziplock bag, but I think that container is just not waterproof.
TNLN
Thanks again Team RooBok (or DellBoy1203) - it's a nicely hidden cache and should be fairly safe there unless muggles decide to see what people are looking for.
PS Happy Birthday to Joshua
PPS The coords for this one are S37° 45.927' E145° 21.483' and the coords for the old "Ultimate #1" were S37° 45.928' E145° 21.483' - quite a coincidence!!!
