Description

The 52nd cache hidden by caughtatwork is another moveable cache and can only be found on Geocaching Australia.

My Moving Cache

Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, run away, make your log and rehide it in a location that matches the color of the cache container.

The log sheet is waterproof to (hopefully) ensure its longevity.

Please feel free to log this cache up to 10 times as long as you are having fun finding and rehiding it. Of course, you should wait until someone else has hidden it before you can log it as a find again.

There are some simple guidelines:

  1. When you grab the cache please rehide it again the same day or at the latest within 24 hours.
  2. Rehide the cache attached to an object the same or similar in color.
    The further away the merrier.
  3. Log your find here as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
  4. When logging your find at geocaching.com.au, please insert the co-ordinates in the coords box.
This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them.
  5. Please keep this cache in Australia but feel free to move it interstate if you feel in the mood.
  6. Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
Of course the best fun about one of these caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Feel free to be as obvious as you need to be in order to claim it.

Then run away as fast as you can.

Enjoy.

Looks like Little Red Riding Cache has been eaten by the Big Bad Wolf. Still after 50 or so finds, she had a good run and I'm happy that she lasted this long. Thanks to all who found her and maybe in the future one of her fairy tale counterparts will do the rounds.

Little Red must really be hiding. I searched high and low, near and far. I easily found the matching "red" and a stripy "red" as well! I just hope Little Red has not been moved by a Muggle in the past three months. I will be passing that way again in the next week or two so if she has not relocated by then I will have another look.

Found at 1530 with the assistance of the Blair/Balls. After hitting the dirt tracks and wondering where in blazes we would end up, suddenly the Gympie Muster stage appeared out of the green. With two large red metal stage wings, we really didn't need the GPS to tell us where Red was. Meika and Kaylene both spotted it simultaneously and I did the honours of climbing the metalwork to retrieve it. Really nice hide powellbruce. As we have only just got home from a spot of camping, we will hide it tomorrow.

Just had a call from Brummy....details as follows:

He tracked down the big bad wolf to the location as listed above. After a ragging battle which involved both stealth and an axe he managed to rescue Little Red. Unfortunately Little Red had expired Sad Not to be deterred, the every resourceful Brummy managed to extract a DNA sample and produced a Litte Red Clone.

The long and short of the story is: Little Red is back in action and you'll find her if you "look under".

I was headed out for a bike ride this morning in the general direction of Brookfield and lo and behold Little Red pops up at grandma's place in the middle of Brisbane Forest Park. Followed the bike trails from The Gap to GZ. Took a while to find Little Red, I thought the big bad Wingaap might have got her. Found her eventually and we continued on our merry way through the bush to parts unknown.
Dropped off Little Red nearer to civilization.
GPS reception may be bad at the new location, so a grid search may be necessary.

Meet up with IF this morning on the way to find Ms Red.
I was tempted to force him off the road (so I could reach the cache before him). However, after seeing him issue the old nordic one fingered salute and hearty greeting to a less than attentive motorist I elected to attact his attention in another way!
Thus followed a titanic battle of scissors, paper, rock The result....IF pedaled off into the sunset...well off down the road to meet up with Ms Red Wink

Tricks, who us Smile The cache is now near a great area to take your push bike with trails from beginner to intermediate in the near vicinity. There are some walking trails nearby as well but this one will be found just off of a MTB only trail. Calling IF.

We have been in Red cliffe, Under a Red --- and under a Red ---.

Please get me out of here very quick or else the Witchpig will be up to their tricks.

I can depart many ways from here.

Ruzzelz tortured me all night, the hint was a dead give away and the only red thing provided the cache. I sat at work until it was time to knock off thinking some of those keen cachers might beat me to it. Retrieved the Cache not far from Caughtatworks brother in law and re hid it in it's third shire in as many days.

Should it be Red Hill, Redlands or Redbank. Nah all too far away for today.

Seems this place is open 24/7 but takes another name.

ruzzelz has removed the Red from cliffe.

Stay tuned so many places to consider.

PS. I normally hate looking into trees at night but just had to grab this one.

A quick note to log the starting co-ordinates for posterity.
Also, you won't find the initial hide in anything red, nor magnetic. Although it is near (well a couple of k's) from something named red.
My Brother-in-Law who will have a caching name soon, brought this cache back to Queensland from Victoria and I didn't quite explain clearly what needed to be done.
Still the cache shouldn't be hard to find as I've been led to believe it's the only place in that area that could have a cache. If future hiders could keep to the red theme that would be appreciated.
