Description
The 49th cache hidden by caughtatwork is a moveable cache and can only be found on Geocaching Australia.
Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, run away, make your log and rehide it in a location that matches the color of the cache container.
The log sheet is waterproof to (hopefully) ensure its longevity.
Please feel free to log this cache up to 10 times as long as you are having fun finding and rehiding it. Of course, you should wait until someone else has hidden it before you can log it as a find again.
There are some simple guidelines:
- When you grab the cache please rehide it again the same day or at the latest within 24 hours.
- Rehide the cache attached to an object the same or similar in color.
The further away the merrier. - Log your find here as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
- When logging your find at geocaching.com.au, please insert the co-ordinates in the coords box.
This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them. - Please keep this cache in Australia but feel free to move it interstate if you feel in the mood.
- Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
Then run away as fast as you can.
Enjoy.

He was only 6 finds from his century and third highest found GCA cache in the entire world.
After 4 and a half years, my little grey friend has passed on, he is no more, he's gone to meet his maker. This is an ex-cache.

There is plenty of grey stuff near the cache on the newly named GO BETWEEN bridge. There is a viewing platform near by at the end of Bouquet St. These numbers will be handy to narrow down your search area - 49938.

Time to say goodbye - Till we meet again!
Ok - Not a government building but a place that uses it's Queensland monopoly to influence decision making policies within the state.
In the true spirit of the movable Cache as stated on this page
"you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Feel free to be as obvious as you need to be in order to claim it. -
Then run away as fast as you can" - before security nabs you!!
No seriously - should be a pretty easy find
On holidays in Caloundra.
Will be heading south today

After an early morning swim at Mooloolaba, we wandered over to see if government grey was still there. It was. Placed this morning in Caloundra right near a number of local government facilities. If you are looking for info about the area this is a good place to start and if you need more walk a few extra metres to the info centre.

How could I not check up on this little cache when it is attached to a waypoint of a GC multi-cache
The GG was still there but was providing a home for many little black ants who had filled any empty spaces with eggs
I took the oportunity to evict the lodgers and GG is back in place in pristine grey condition

The paint was coming off the cache, and we wondered how does an owner do maintenance on a moveable cache? Figured we could just put the paint on ourselves. If you need a hint to find the cache, try looking behind Mt Ngungun.

I delivered Government Grey to its new resting place today. If you pick it up during a week day remember to wave across the road where young CHUNKY MONKEY should be busy learning and Mumma NANKS busy teaching!
Happy hunting.

OK, the Government has gone urban.
It has moved east and is now only 2kms from the bayside shore.
The grey is a little hard to find at first,
but once you see the grey you know you are close to the Government!
Not sure where he's going yet, maybe somewhere a little more urban.....

Govt. Grey is now in a lovely park that some of you may know and have been here before. It is the park our family uses most. He is magnetic. Hope you come to this area and stay a while.

A great place to spend the day
By the Staghorns - NB: Cache is magnetic
I dont think the Brisbane city workers would like you digging around in here
I'll place it in the morning.
Note: One mighty fine specimen of a carpet snake was guarding this cache location. I've never seen #1 son jump so high.
Thanks for the hide.

"On the Move - Government Grey" has been placed in a more northerly park of Brisbane used for cricket, hockey and softball and it's a great walking area for geocachers and muggles. Across the road are rugby union fields, more cricket ovals and beach volleyball courts too. Across that road from Govt Grey and near the creek bank is a huge gum tree that is my favourite tree. It is the home of hundreds of birds and possums. Several different types of parrots make their nests in that tree. Have a look at it while you are here.
I'll get it re-hidden ASAP and this time I'll check out my GZ properly before placing it.

PS: Nicely typed and ordered log book, Seems a shame I'll have to scribble my entry below it.

Funnily enough, when Osluxa phoned caughtatwork to advise him of Goverment Grey's demise, we were within earshot! No prob's says caughtatwork & promptly creates a clone for us to take back to Brisbane.
I thought it best to post a log to keep interested parties informed.
We grabbed the Cache the other morning and the same day we went on a bike ride to hide it in a new location.
#1 son spotted what appeared to be a fabulous spot. A large grey flood light on the fence line of a local baseball field.
I said "great, no muggles around, go for it" Seconds later with an absolute look of horror he turned around "I think it's gone" - (perhaps even a hint of a tear)...... WHAT!!!
What happened is the small hole at the base of this floodlight, concealed a 3 metre hole.... straight down.
We rode home grabbed coathangers magnets, and gaffa tape and spent the rest of the morning trying to fish it out.... NO LUCK!
Ohh.... I said there was some good news....I have spoken to the owner of the cache, who took it surprisingly well. A replacement will appear soon.... So, watch this space.
I was going to grab on New Years Eve, but teenagers were partying - or should I say stumbling everywhere, so I gave it the 'drive by'. I took the kids with me this morning for a quick snatch and run.
We are going for a short bike ride this morning
(wont be travelling far) so watch this space for the Coords.

At the Gold Coast I was resting, toasting my feet
When the Nosgurefs did take me to Compton the street.
Now a new player has taken me away from the park
And hidden me tonight when it's cold and it's dark.
From my perch I see black with a little strip of white
And the road beside isn't made of tar but of a potato chip type.

The Grey has been rescued from the dam'd. It is now residing near Pot of Gold, SHABBY SHACKS, Criter Crossing, Trouble etc.
Will drop the Grey off again tomorrow morning
Sneaky hide though, with the GG using extra cover and not just relying on its natural cammo !
Half an hour to find and then only found on a whim !

Finally we found you Government Grey. Anzac Day has been a great day for caching. We have returned you to your quasi government home. As an old electrical man, how could I resist the site of your new location.

OK IF - very funny, Grey was not wet and it still had not caught any fish. We had to introduce a couple of muggles who were fishing right on top of Grey to this 'funny treasure hunt' game to be able to pick Grey up. It's now gone shopping (or close to it anyway) - watch the traffic.
Yes the GG is offshore. Bottom of the harbour scheme you see. Try googling the earth.
Do you mind confirming the Coords? According to my assessment the cache is off shore a little?
I haven't been to GZ but suspect I know your intended placement area but it is a bit too far to travel on a hunch?

The Grey was lonely. Amazing the amount of people who were at work at 4.55am on a Saturday. Right where The Grey was, the local plastics factory was in full swing which made us look pretty suspicious. Anyway, The Grey has gone to the close country - look where the cane may flood.

Swam out to Chandler Aquatic Centre this evening to find this elusive little cache. Yes finally got to it first, although after searching several largish objects in the dark I thought I had indeed been beaten to it again. Couldn't move it as far south as I would like tonight, so I have found a very large object to hide it on instead. Should make for a challenge to find it.

I was preparing a couple of horses and a cut lunch to go after this one. I've just been informed that 276 horses were required to move GG to this location. Maybe it's time to let those south of the river have a bit of fun

So far today the Witch and I have had a great laugh we have had visitors to one of our houses and they never weeded the garden, visitors to one of our work places and Geoff you never even came in to join us whilst we watched some DVD's on the big screen. With all this laughter it was time to snatch the grey and send it home. Government Grey is where you will find this cache. Well as close as we could get without tripping the sensitive perimeter security.

grey green? green grey?
south or city?
hmm...
(challenge achieved methinks) *grin* perhaps neutral - not north or south??
Well tomorrow is gives us yet another day to play and for all geocachers to prevent the escape of the Grey.
Well we made the most of the trip and did 9 Wingaap specials; if our calculations are correct we passed the 100 finds today. So other than missing Gov Grey it was a productive day.

Oh Ruzzelz was fast this morning. Witch of team WitchPig got up late looking forward to coffee in front of the TV but made the mistake of calling the Pig to let him know it was moved. The Pig being at work highly recommended I go and get it and move it for us...so much for my lazy morning....anyway...new coordinates are in!

The challenge: Can this Grey be Moved at least three times today.
Nothsiders be nervous and be quick, it is Moving south again. This little baby could easily escape across the river from here.
Oh yes, a quick take at 0618 this morning. It was so close to home just had to jump over and grab it.

VWNuts (who haven't got a cacher name set up yet) have rehidden this cache at the above co-ordinates.
They tell me it's not for the Vertially Challenged.
Now, they didn't give me a story so ...
I went to find this magnificent moving cache this evening. Armed only with GPSr and a long pole I was able to scale the dizzying height to grab this well placed cache. While I was utilising my pole however, one of Queenslands finest happened along and asked what I was doing. Well, rather than give the game away I hit him in the head and ran away. That was the right thing to do wasn't it?
When VWNuts gets their cacher name set up then will log a find and I'll delete the note.

Sorry about the error in the Coordinates. Went back and checked.
Waiting for a finder. In a peaceful place but you will need to go higher. (Well was peaceful some muggles this afternoon)

Just noting the starting co-ordinates for posterity.
It was hidden while I was on a one day business meeting jaunt to the sunny state of Queensland, only a stones throw from my meeting location.
PS. Your state is too hot. Please arrange to lower the temperature by a few degrees
