Having been back in the area for the best part of 2 years I decided I should probably start finding a few caches a little closer to home.
This was an interesting challenge to retrieve the container in the middle of the day but nonetheless I managed to adopt the prone position in between passing cars.
A cleverly constructed container and a pretty neat hide.
Thanks Hammerman &Trixter for the cache.

I teamed up with Powerplayx2 today to find some caches around the Hills District. After I had logged this as a DNF in June I quickly went through with Powerplayx2 where I had previously checked which only left one obvious place and sure enough there it was. Again an excellent job on creating this cache, thanks.
It was good to help jk find this one and get it off his DNF list, there was only
a few places it could be and a long reach out and the prize was in hand. The DUO

Now this little sucker has had me thinking after every one of my 3 visits. I must admit previous logs assisted in the find. Nice spot for a hide and well constructed.

Teamed up with bretty on this cache! On our casual stroll at 2.30 am was approached my muggle officers who took names and details, also searched car, found cache, signed log and placed back! Great hide
Searched at two elevations and remained unsuccessful. Mmmm - there's always another day! Thanks H&T
Down from Queensland for a weekend raid with Tassiegirl13, Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ghost Gums, lochb, La Kedi, an Rebel Acts.
Another very cool hide from H&T.
We came up with an appropriate tool that made the search a little easier.
Extraction however was also a bit of fun but in the end we got there.

Found with Bedmaker, Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ghost Gums, lochb, La Kedi, an Rebel Acts on our Sydney caching weekend.
This one had us searching for a little while before spying the sneaky little thing. Now, how to extract it. The right tool was found and we soon had our names added to the log.
Very nice hide Hammerman & Trixter, many thanks.

Arriving adjacent GZ Gunnie69, Ghostgums, lochb, La Kedi, Tassiegirl13, bedmaker, Rebel Acts & I realised we may be here for a bit
And in true H&T cache style this proved to be the way - yet another very challenging hide by this team..
Again it was all eyes here & there than swap areas & someone else check for a changed perspective....
Eventually Gunnie69 had an epiphany that proved to be fruitful and he located cache in its hidden spot..
Next issue - extraction - Oh the problems with fly in/fly out caching - baggage restrictions when traveling with carry on luggage only..
Luckily La Kedi had an appropriate item so log was eventually liberated for signing...
cache carefully replaced - so next finder can tear their hair out too
TNLNSL
Thanks again Hammerman & Trixter for another exceptional cache [^][^]

This was, the third cache of 51 finds for the day, On day two of the MCBC raid on Sydney. We must confess we parked right at GZ, but it did not matter this early on a Sunday morning, this sure was an evil hide, but with the right tool we soon located it. My thanks to Hammerman & Trixter for the cache.
Well that was a challenging cache, not sure I would have found that one on my own! Good to have so many eyes!
Found while spending an enjoyable weekend finding caches around Sydney with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, lochb, La Kedi, Tassiegirl13, bedmaker and Rebel Acts.

After tackling a couple of H&T hides already, this one was never going to be straight forward. With a few sets of eyes on the job, the cache remained elusive for quite some time, even to the point where bedmaker altered his altitude and searched another area...
After a few minutes, I noticed something perfect for a hide and asked the group if anyone had a "..." (insert name of handy caching tool here) ... Turns out La Kedi had just what I needed and with the tool in use, I had the cache in sight... Aha, sneaky little blighter. Right, now for extraction...
I aligned myself in the right position and commenced removal. Not as easy as I thought it would be but it came eventually and we had the container in hand. The sneakiness was not over yet though as we managed to pick the wrong opening at first and the weren't able to access what we needed... Hmm, I hope the next one works I thought... [B)]
The next one was more successful and we were able to scribe names in the log... Excellent... [^] The replacement was just as challenging as I wanted to get it in the right place. It was nicely tucked away before we left...
Thanks for the fun on this one H&T. Your making today's run very enjoyable so far...

Excellent hide! Took us quite a while to find it, and we pulled out a little used caching tool to assist, but we definite admired the craftiness of the hider once we had the cache in hand. There was a moment of doubt when we found the cache itself difficult to extract, but then it came free and the logs were ours. TFTC. =^.^=

A night assault with Hammerman and some earlier finders. Once we'd convinced Alfyboy that all the spiders were probably not deadly, he made the successful grab. TFTC.

Moving along from the previous close caches, We pulled up and walked over to this one. One saving grace, was that the CO started walking in a direction that instantly gave us the correct GZ (as per the hint), mistake maybe..we'll never know Once at GZ, Baktrak and I started going over things and knowing this would be another tricky one, I simply decided to check EVRYTHING. (Shouldn't I be doing that all the time?)
Many spiders around, which was scary enough, but one place had me hooked more that the others. I closed my eyes, reached and found a beautiful camo'd cache. Very well done, I must say guys. We checked it out, SL and then I replaced it again. Another favorite point, Top Job, TFTC.

Found with Teambooo, Booo Booo & Glenwarra69.
Drove past this one and then after hitting the nearby birdwatch cache headed cross the park to this one. Arrived at GZ and looked around below the bridge, managing to also find out that water is indeed wet. Then moved search to top of bridge and continued searching still with no luck.
Change of tactics and perception soon provided the location of the hide. Make the grab proved easy even on a Public Holiday Monday as not many cars or people where around. Returning hide was delayed by sudden appearance of a jogger but once passed the hide was returned and off we walked heads held high.
Thank you Hammerman & Trixter, for the causeing such brain aches.

Very very clever. Loved it!! Teamed up with Team Sunderland for a great find. Well hidden & very tricky.
spent some time looking but not seeing cache, not knowing quite what to look for, this was another type to add to the memory bank of cache containers. Great hide
At last! It wasn't there on my previous attempt. Finally marked this off my DNF list! TFTC, very well constructed and thought out...keep them coming!

Drat, I had not updated the records in my GPS for a while, and spent 20minutes looking for this, only to find it is offline once I got home.
Ah well, that'll learn me to update more often.

It seems this cache has been muggled again, going gown for maintenance. Back up shortly.
Now reading some of the past logs I may need to attempt at a quieter time of day or maybe night! I guess that also depends on the level.
2 visits and still can't find it. I hope I'm not required to jump over the rails to get this one!?
Yes I found this cheeky guy all wet and unable to sign as well last night on my way home from friends.

This was way too easy to find now knowing what extremepc cache hides are normally like....the cache was on display & easy to see, I don't think that it was replaced correctly...the log is also dripping wet & will need replacing, we could not sign the log.....would have been another great hunt otherwise....we returned it in the same place but made sure that it was out of site.....TFTC
Took a while to find this one.

Our 4971st overall find.
This was our last cache for the day. Initially I dropped Shell off hoping she would make quick find but it wasn't to be so I parked in the back streets Up, down, round about we finally made the find. I have no idea how you are supposed to find this cache in the day time! Once found it was signed and replaced in the same difficult spot!
Thanks to extremepc for the cache.

A neat but tricky little hide. Took longer to find than it should have but feeling around where you cant exactly see is a bit daunting.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
After looking both up and down we couldn't find the cache.
I couldn't use a PAF (Phone A Friend) as my phone is off getting fixed!?!
So I used my VTO, which stands for Visit The Owner.
Soon, we were back signing the log. After another (briefer) search.
Great little hide!

We went down, we went up, I went down, and there it was, although Satanas666 was the one to reach out and nab this one.
Is there any other colours for houses out this way other than black, grey and brown?, and what's the go with these black and dark coloured roofs, don't people want cool roofs? That's OK, they'll just bung in more airconditioners!
Thanks for the cache extrmepc, it had us going for a while.

I made the find fairly quickly. I arrived right on dusk...started looking right near GZ when a big red flast happened and I was seeing red stars and flashes for about a minute. I would suggest avoid looking for this one around dusk or night time. The big red lights that light up the structure turned on when I was looking right at them....They're very bright!. After a short time I was just about to start looking again when a new cacher who was going for a walk showed up and guessed I was caching. He was out for a stroll and noticed my GPS. As we were talking I made the find very quickly. Nice one. Thanks for the bight lights. TFTC

When we went to return cache we notice that the magnent had come off.
Each of us try to recover the magnet but was unable to get a hold to recover it.
We left cache near its original hinding place "some what hidden" but more visible then before.
This is a late log entry and see that quick reporting from "The Estreich Clan" has already been reported and repair action is underway.
Many thanks to team_extremepc for the cache, really enjoyed this one. We found it a challenge and we found it on our 2nd attempt on a nice Sunday afternoon

Found the cache after the 'third attempt'. Saw some cachers (we thought muggles @ the time) on 13 Nov, thought GZ was too hot to risk so gave up. Second attempt - no dice - we were stumped. Third time was the charm......
A clever hide.
As sedgewickDave pointed out the magnet did come off the holder. We did attempt to retrive the magnet & re-attach but to no avail.

I'm trying to catch up on past logs today. I've let 140 caches pass without logging them. So I can't say anything specific about your cache. I'm only 10 years old, and while I love caching, I sometimes like doing other things rather than logging my finds when I get home. Sorry. Thanks for putting your cache out for me to enjoy.
Today my dad said I have to catch up on all the logs I have missed. I've missed about 130 because I like caching more than I like writing the logs. So sorry this is just a standard comment. Thanks for hiding your cache for me to enjoy.
Found it "Very" "Very" late into the night. Fist of all could not figure out if it was hidden down or up, but knowing this cacher any thing is possible.

Don't know how far we were behind Rogpol today, but he'd signed a few logs of caches we'd been to. Absolutely no muggles, and thankfully little traffic. Geohubby had it after a little fiddling with the GPS. Thanks team extreme for another good one. There were some others (cachers I think) at another nearby cache, but I think we may have scared them off doing this one( probably thought we were muggles) TFTC
You know that the local community is a caring lot when ...
Parked the car close to GZ on a development lot and walked low and high for this one. While in one area I thought I had judged the distance between muggle cars to perfection to make a braille scan... I was wrong. Two cars pulled up asking if I was all right and whether they should call an ambulance. One car did a complete U turn around the large roundabout after spotting me in his mirror .. I thanked them both for their actions and said that I had found "what I had dropped" and that everything was OK .. "Thanks!!".
Lesson: don't undertake a micro search of GZ when muggles are approaching. You may end with more help than you need

We looked at the hint and decided we better check up and down, especially since up gave a better fix on GZ. This proved to be a good strategy, as apart from the walk between up and down - a minute or two here and there - this was found pretty quickly. A clever hide that uses the features of the site well. Thanks for another great cache.
Isn't it funny what a difference 24 hrs can make! I walked straight up to this one today, and had the little sucker in my hand in under 30 secs Thanks for the cache
Didn't spend too long searching, description says you don't have to do anything dangerous....well I thought we checked most of the places that aren't but apparently not well enough, another time perhaps
Wow! This was quite a search I had during my lunch hour, and I'm just back at work putting some antiseptic on my various wounds.
I wrote several funny logs in my head while driving back east from the ever-expanding The Ponds suburb, but I'm afraid all of them give away too much crucial information. However, I sure could tell you all some amusing stories about my adventures . . .
This is a cache where you'll have to do some work, one way or another.
I guess I can say that when I understood the clue, then I made progress. That was step number one.
Please follow the CO's advice and don't try anything dangerous. You don't have to risk life and limb to find this cache. You will have to do something, however, and I'm not going to say what it is!
Fortunately, GZ isn't a particularly busy area. As regards pedestrians, in the course of 40 minutes only one lady walked by, pushing her baby in a pram. Most of the vehicular traffic consisted of trucks and vans -- no doubt all tradesmen at work building more large houses in these new suburbs.
Anyhow, cache container and contents are in good shape. Published coordinates are accurate to within a couple of metres. TNLNSL.
Thanks to team_extremepc for a good challenge. I don't mind losing a bit of skin so long as I actually find the geocache!
