Description

Game Period: 01-Dec-2015 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2016 23:59:59 AEST The game requires you to hide a moving geocache on Geocaching Australia on the 1st of December 2015 and then you can sit back and watch as your GeGnome travels Australia and the world. You can also help other GeGnomes by finding and moving them along at Geocaching Australia. Etiquette •When re-hiding a GeGnome get good co-ordinates. Seriously. Don't dump and run. Get co-ords. as you would a permanent GeGnome. •When making your log against a GeGnome include a good hint so the finder can identify whether it's been moved, muggled or just a bad GPS day. •This is a challenge of moving GeGnomes along, not trying to make them impossible to find, so help you fellow players out by making the task enjoyable •Please avoid hiding movable caches near existing Groundspeak or Geocaching Australia geocaches. At Groundspeak geocaches they go missing as rubbish or taken as trades. At Geocaching Australia geocaches the other geocache ends up travelling as well which it's not supposed to. So please find a location away from any existing geocaches (except of course other movable geocaches) to keep the GeGnomes in play for as long as possible. The full rules are at http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/gegnome_ii The basics are Pick me up, Log me as found online, Move me, log my new co-ordinates online and change my hint ... HAVE FUN!!!

Deaf Gnome spent a great week with us and Reject Gnoel, travelling and exploring. He decided it was time to move on though, and what better place to do it. A rugged coastal spot with a beautiful view and a great deal of history.

We were looking forward to meeting Deaf-Gnome after becoming aware of his arrival in Tasmania. We found this cheerful little man enjoying watching muggles go by on the nearby track. We will give him a little tour of Tassie and get him out again soon.
Enjoyed finding your happy gnome Whitepaws9 and hope to catch up with you before you leave Tassie.

Hi Whitepaws. This gnome is not showing up on the map of gegnomes, as it doesn't have the public tag 'gegnome2'. You might want to add it so that cachers using the map know it is out to be found. We would not have known it existed if Whitewebbs hadn't told us. Happy gnoming! I'm a Laaaaaaaady, duh!I'm a Gnome, duh!

22-Jan-16
It is probably not surprising that we didn't find it, as it is not even showing on our map - maybe our iPhone is deaf or something! We followed Whitwebbs to the approximate location and the gnome could well be there, but finding a deaf micro gnome in a forest is tricky when there isn't a hint!

no luck, a hint might be handy
