Description
Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck.
Don't let the angels touch your flesh,
or you will live an old life fresh.
Don't blink your eyes, or look away,
Lest you live your life in yesterday.
They turn to stone when them you spy,
And granite wings will never fly.
They'll kill you nice, but you'll be dead,
and all because you turned your head.
So never blink or avert your gaze,
or shortened then will be your days.
Don't blink, don't turn, don't wink an eye,
when'ere you see an angel cry.
or you will live an old life fresh.
Rules (not guidelines)
- Cache sizes other than micros are encouraged. The log can be in a micro container, but it is encouraged that the angel be regular size or larger.
- Your cache must be a bone fide angel. Any creature can be a Weeping Angel but it must have wings. Planes and spaceships don't count.
- Your cache may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2013 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time)
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2012
Please refer to the Geocaching Australia wiki for more information - You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2013 and add the word weepingangel to your cache tags
- You are required to add the word weepingangel to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
You can add the word weepingangel to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2013 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2014 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can find and move your own cache during the game period provided it is not the caches first move
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game will find / move your cache, but they are requested to move it on within 2 days

Logs
Moveable has been with the previous finder for well over 12 months, so time to archive it. If it does appear again, it can be reinstated.
This angel symbolic reminder for the two real-life angels who helped me get un-stuck at this location!!
Thanks to Lazarus for dropping off this moveable & lots of others.
For the moment I will leave them at the front of my house in case someone is passing by and would like to grab one or more to move on.

A break in the weather and an early day from work so finally a chance to drop off a few caches I've been carrying around for a while.
Happy trails little angel. Thanks Keeper of Time.

A quick find in the old collection spot on a lunchtime moveable cache run. A few workmen around but none interested in my visit. Two out, two in and with any luck a new dragonzone for Cerberus.
Thanks Keeper of Time.

Moved along for a new finder (hopefully).
This cache has languished a little too long here so I've found it and moved it a little further south where someone will hopefully come along and move it again.

Dropped off in a location that I had to drop past today. Not too far from the last hide, but a move nonetheless.
Grabbed this cache on a quick arvo run while teaching the eldest to drive. Relocated and ready to find. I seem to run into this cache very other time I go out. I still love it.

Weeper of Time - K has sat around too long.
Let's moved you on a little as a 'found and not moved log' tends to trick teams into thinking you are not there.
Cheers

How could I resist, c@w and GabGab tempting me with my first moveable finds for this year's race, so close to home. And seven caches so close to each other! I don't have time to move and re-hide them, so signed the log and left them here for the next finders. Cheers!
Dropped off in a nice location overlooking the lake.
I found this cache with caughtatwork on a trip around the west this morning.

Picked up on a raid of 5 caches in one location. They were easy to find and they're now in the car awaiting a suitable location to rehide later this weekend.

Dropped off this afternoon with a few other angels. I just realised I forgot to log.
Thanks again Keeper of Time.
Thanks again Keeper of Time.
I had planned to drop a few Sydney Angels around here but with the nearby long multi taking up all my free time this afternoon, I was only able to do one swap here. Coords ended up being spot on but a detailed hint is always appreciated.
I'm sorry that this Angel missed the Sydney transfer but it was just too hot last week to make the extra trip.
Thanks again Keeper of Time for the Angel. I'll move west soon.

Hidden close to home, I had to manually tweak the coordinates due to it looking wrong on the Google Map thanks to tree-cover interference (please use the hint)
Picked up today along with a little Leapfrog racer from a couple of years back who I took along for the ride too.
As I'm not part of the Weeping Angel game, I left this where I found it for those who follow to move.
Found this one at 15:30 while out for a bit of hardware shopping. Still enjoying the spot with its buddy.
TNLNSL. Thanks Keeper of Time.

Moving this great weeping angel after dropping off my eldest at cricket training.
Moved to this spot in the hopes that the frog hidden here will get moved on a well.
Thanks Keeper of Time for the very nice angel.
