Description
An entrant in the Weeping Angels Geocaching Race run over December 2013 & January 2014. This time it is based on the Weeping Angels epsiode from Dr Who. Unfortunately despite being able to trace my Dr Who lineage back to the advent of the Daleks, I never saw the Weeping Angels.
The race is over but you can continue to find the cheribum, move it somewhere accessible etc.
There is no logbook so have written the cache number on the back.
Don't hide it with a GC cache as this often ends in tears.

I had to go into town to meet a friend today and due to the vagaries of train timetable from Lithgow I had plenty of time to kill. What better way than get off at Lidcombe and check out the newly placed moveables.
Left in place for the next cacher to come along.

A new angel for me, not found during the race but this turned up at the Sutherland event today and jumped into my pack.
After finding another moveable in this spot on Friday, I didn't even bother to turn on my GPS.
I parked near GZ and strolled over the road expecting a quick find. But turned up nothing! I thought someone might have got here faster than me. I was about to give up when I saw a flash of something not natural looking. Ah, much smaller than I was expecting, and almost lost amongst the camo.
Thanks

Cheribum said he wanted to see more of the mountains on his way back down towards Sydney.
Another old friend made it's way to Lithgow on this cold and wet day. Still it won't be long before a train trip to pastures new.

Another moveable find in Leura!
Many thanks to rogerw3 for the transport!

This moveable has moved down the mountains to see the local Geocacher, don't bother looking, gone already!
Time to go on a short trip and test the old knee after a few weeks rest. A much easier terrain than expected, not that I am complaining!
A great hiding spot, one of the best I have seen in a long time congrats to Blossom* for that hide.
Anyway this one is now on his way down the mountains a little way to meet the local Geocacher.

In a snug box with 6 other friends at a wonderful pagoda. Look for the little pile of rocks then look under and up
Cheribum has returned to Clwydd, he must like it here!
After a short rest he will soon be on his way to a new abode.

Moved out to Dural for the last move of the race.
One more find on the last evening of the race. Might get another move in, might not...

Got a move in on the final day of the race!
The 3 angels here seem to have been abandoned for a while so I did a mercy dash to collect them and see if they can get in another couple of moves before the end of the race.
One of three angels (zip)locked together in a protective (plastic) cage.
One of a trio delivered to the Gordon drive-by angel gaol.
Collected this cherub from the Waitara Angelarium. I know Cheribum is plural but I only see one. That means the other is out of sight somewhere ready to pounce.

Brought north where another finder should be able to pick it up shortly.
A new angel recovered from Parramatta Park and brought north for investigation. Last of 12 angels for the day!
This Angel has travelled to the big smoke, where unwary blinkers abound!
What do you know another Angel has just stopped by after a long and arduous journey. Best not to keep this one waiting too long, a quick move is in order.

Found high in the Blue Mountains, in beautiful Wentworth Falls!
Rated: for Overall Experience
The angels (and associated moveables) made their way via Young and Bathurst to Wentworth Falls where they were handed over to the local Blue Mountains authorities in exchange for three rather devious angels which hitched a lift to Sydney. Already gone.
Picked up at the Yass Service Centre, will head to the Blue Mountains or Sydney.

With not as many angels about this year I was happy to get to see this and three others before they moved out of town. Thanks

811. Always answer another cacher's phone calls as they sometimes are geeks bearing gifts - or at least moveables.

Out for a drive to the coast with Black Bunny and decided to call in to Berry for a cache or two.
A quick find and a joint *FTF*. I fumbled around for the cache whilst the Bunny followed the dogs around with a plastic bag. Excellent division of tasks, I felt!
