Description
Mr_Roo's Weeper
Mr_Roo's Weeper is my entrant to the Geocaching Australia movable cache race 2013-14.
Mr_roo's Weeper is a genuine weeping angel. So dont look to long at the angel or it may just send you back in time. Move him quickly or you might get in trouble.
Goodluck Mr_roo's Weeper travel far and as many moves as you can
Rules (not guidelines)
- Cache sizes other than micros are encouraged. The log can be in a micro container, but it is encouraged that the angel be regular size or larger.
- Your cache must be a bone fide angel. Any creature can be a Weeping Angel but it must have wings. Planes and spaceships don't count.
- Your cache may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2013 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time)
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2012
Please refer to the Geocaching Australia wiki for more information - You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2013 and add the word weepingangel to your cache tags
- You are required to add the word weepingangel to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
You can add the word weepingangel to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2013 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2014 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can find and move your own cache during the game period provided it is not the caches first move
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game will find / move your cache, but they are requested to move it on within 2 days

Logs
This geocache appears to be MIA so stop it clogging of the search lists we'll archive this one. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
Think this one has been melted in a fire.
There appears only to be about half a log at GZ with nowhere to really match the hint unless 'in the end' means 'under'

We found this angel in a very fitting location. We will place her again soon.

Yeah, finally in my hands.
Chwiliwr thank you for the note, much appreciated! My first visit GPS thought GZ was closer to the road, and this time further away, so with six trees in the vicinity my GPS couldn't make obvious which tree the hint referred too. TFTC

Neither of the two 'issues' mentioned in the the previous DNF are relevant.
Cache location has not changed since it was placed there. The road is as it was when hidden and there are no rubbish items at GZ.
Cache is STILL THERE.
If you look in street view the trees mentioned in the hint are quite visible.

Two issues at this location:
1) road has been widened with grader thus GZ possibly disturbed.
2) lots of empty beer bottles suggests likely interference.

Moved to a location South of the River up the road from a GC cache.
Was checking some of my GCA caches in Ascot and noticed this one seemed to be still where it was dropped so went and looked for it. Didn't find it where the coordinates pointed to but realised that there were some other likely places that the hint referred to nearby so found it there.

No, no, no! We're not leaving this angel out here. I managed to smuggle him back into my luggage and left him a bit closer to the action. In fact, very close to a lot of action!
I found this in blossom*s luggage and, since we were very close to overweight, thought it best left here!
After 12 months, I was worried this little angel might have gone off to play. But there he/she was, waiting patiently to be carried off!
Sorry it has taken so long to relocate the Weeper but I have been stuck at home for a few weeks due to a knee injury.
There you are you little dickens! No escaping now, just a matter of finding a new home for you.

Mr_roo's Weeper has made his way back up the mountains and is here for a short time only. Don't bother looking he has been taken already.
Mr_roo's Weeper could not hide for too long, he wants to return to the mountains. I could only agree with him.

Mr Roo's Weeper has escaped to the Spit where he is lurking near the path awaiting fresh victims....
Wow that is a LOT of caches my BB brought home! I would have gone too but some of us had to go to work. Now my house is full of Gnomes, frogs, Bingos and Angels! I’m going to have to do something about this and start hiding them again before they take over our unit once and for all!
Operation: Dawn of War (Clan Phoenix Gnomeland Raid)
Cache Condition: Ooooo! A REAL one Looking good, wasnt even dirty!
Operation Summary: Leaving Sydney at 4am to reach The Gnomelands by dawn I kicked off the 'The Great Mount Piddington Moveable Challenge' with a raid of freedom to release over 60 moveables from their mountain prison to freedom. 4.5 hours of morning caching saw a good few sack-fulls return with me to Sydney.
The caches have been moved to St Leonards for some TLC and a bath so don’t go looking for them there. They will be released shortly in various locations.

Moved out to Dural for the last move of the race.
One more find on the last evening of the race. Might get another move in, might not...

Got a move in on the last day of the race, over to the Normo hangout.
The 3 angels left sitting here have been immobile for too long, so I decided on a rescue mission to see if we can get another couple of moves before the end of the race.
One of three angels (zip)locked together in a protective (plastic) cage.
Delivered to the Gordon drive-by with two others.
Moved north where some other finders should grab them fairly quickly.
A new angel, just what Sydney needs. Have safely grabbed this one to bring back north for investigation.
This Angel has travelled to the big smoke, where unwary blinkers abound!
What do you know another Angel has just stopped by after a long and arduous journey. Best not to keep this one waiting too long, a quick move is in order.

Another upper Blue Mountains Weeping Angel find . . . in Wentworth Falls, not far from the GWH!
Rated: for Overall Experience
The angels (and associated moveables) made their way via Young and Bathurst to Wentworth Falls where they were handed over to the local Blue Mountains authorities in exchange for three rather devious angels which hitched a lift to Sydney. Already gone.
Picked up at the Yass Service Centre, will head to the Blue Mountains or Sydney.
