Description

Weeping Angel competitor

I am entrant in this year's Weeping Angel moveable race. I am happy to be moved anywhere in Australia and hope to visit as many interesting places as possible and meet as many geocachers as I can. Please pick me up and move me along according to the guidelines listed below:

The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2013 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2014 AEDST.

The game administrator's decision is final.

You can find and move your own cache during the game period provided it is not the caches first move.

Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide).

There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find/move the cache provided there are at least two other finds/moves in between.

If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule.

There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache.

Other cachers in the game will find/move your cache, but they are requested to move it on within 2 days.

Logs

Time to go

Periodically the Geocaching Australia review team checks moveable caches that haven’t been found or moved in over 90 days.

This moveable fits that brief, however reading previous logs the cache could still be at the posted co-ords, just sitting there waiting for the next finder to give it a go.

So, if you’re in area why not stop by and maybe help it on its way.

Getting around to relocating all the moveables I grabbed from the recent GCA Event in Melbourne. This one came home to Canberra but then another trip to Melbourne, down to south-east, saw an opportunity for this one to be dropped off......

So, all good to go again.....an easy find in a guard rail, but feel free to have a look at the spoiler photo....

GCA 1104 - 10883.

Found today in the hands of Sol de Lune. Cool.

TFTC !!

I find that the moveables are a great addition to geocaching. The fun of chasing them around - sometimes finding them in place - sometimes not - puts a bit more interest on the Geocaching Australia side of things. These games also tend to boost the numbers of moveables around - especially in December and January - perfect time to spend a bit more time caching away in Summer and / or holidays. My favourites tend to be the Gnomes - memories of a misspent childhood come to mind.... Lol.

#GA629 - 11:30; Picked this cache up today as part of a prisoner exchange with Sol de lune. It might get to tour the ACT for a bit before moving on I reckon. It is nice to finally track this one down. I got a nasty ant bite on my last attempt to locate it in Launceston Think TFTC whitewebbs Very HappyClan Cerberus

Found this cache (discovered and not moved) today at a cold and wet pathtags/trackables event in Brimbank park - I think the caches might have outnumbered the cachers! (No logbook so no written log, but have photo proof of find if necessary)

One of two moveables rehidden this afternoon "on my way" to Bunnings. I enjoyed a bit of a walk around before finding a nice place to stash this one.
The cache is not accessible from the freeway.
Thanks whitewebbs for the cache and travel far little Angel.

I couldn't resist a handful of moveables put out last night only a short detour from my daily commute. A quick stop in the early hours and I soon had all five in hand.
Thanks whitewebbs for the movable. I'll move it on once I figure where it will serve my clan best. Clan Cerberus

Although this angel's race has been run she's spent far too much time lounging in the sun & has developed a mild case of sunstroke. Time to wake up & get moving again.

After a very light on year for geocaching, I thought I'd check in to see what I'd missed. I must've blinked because suddenly there are angels all around the place! This is my first angel... will it be my last?

The first day of summer (unless you listen to my father) and a beautiful day, so I have taken the motorbike out for a ride. I picked up this Angel hitchhiking on the side of the road.
