Possessing a natural and unique defence mechanism, the Angels are quantum locked. This means that they can only move when no other living creature, including their own kind, is looking at them. As soon as they are observed, they instantly turn to stone and cannot be killed. The Angels have the ability to send other beings into the past. This allows the Angels to feed on the potential time energy of what would have been the rest of their victim's lives.

y's Weeper Beta has been reprogrammed so that no harm will befall members of the finding team provided the log is signed within 30 minutes of y's Weeper Beta being found. This immunity is conferred only on the finding team (or teams if a collaborative effort is undertaken). So don't delay signing the log or you may become a backwards time traveller.

y's Weeper Alpha and y's Weeper Beta are angelic siblings but like many siblings, they do not have a good relationship. To avoid public displays of "downright nastiness", one is to be released north of Bass Strait and the other south of Bass Strait. Is that a sufficient barrier - only time will tell.
