Another one bites the dust despite the last hider keeping a close eye on it.
Typical shire staff - cutting down a tree without any regard for a poor defenseless cache hiding innocently within its leafy embrace. Brick Wall

Oh dear. Council have removed the pencil pine this week, complete with the weeping lego angel. CO notified.

Moved 112.47km
Moved to a new location in Beaufort.
If you are travelling through, stop for some fuel and some food, collect the little angel and you can even grab a nearby GC cache too.
Its in the pencil pine tree, about chest height. Just reach in.

After enjoying a lovely day atop the heavenly Mount Gowar with its owner, this lego angel moved across to the chooknchunk mobile so that we can help it along its journey.

During a day of caching with Chook 'n Chunk around the Mt Gowar area near Wedderburn this moveable GCA cache hopped from my car into theirs via the summit of Mt Gowar.

I was given a leave pass from family duties for the long weekend, so was determined to make the most of the freedom. As it was the tail end of CITO week, and I have accommodation up here, I decided to come up to Echuca and meet all the cachers I've only seen as names in logs, as well as the owners of many a fun hide.
Aside from today's host, I was the first attendee to arrive, and due to sheer indolence, was the last to leave. In between, I met many wonderful people, saw, but didn't quite catch up with one or two others, and spent a great deal of time swapping tales. All in all, a fine way to spend a fine day.
Joint FTF on a fun new cache... and a bonus GCA that had apparently been walkabout for a while (and I know where it was purported to be, having spent a bit of time one wintry night checking the weeping mulberry to no avail... and now we know why).
Thanks, Wazza, for the unexpected bonus.

Well, what a huge surprise.
I was hosting a GC event at this location today. As The Morris were leaving at the end of the event they asked if I knew anything of the GCA cache hanging on the fence nearby. I didn't but went to have a look, thinking it might be a new one ready for publishing.
What I found is a moveable cache of my own. It was hidden many months ago at the other end of Echuca but disappeared and was consequently archived.

It's currently in my car and will find a new home later today.

The weeping mulberry is no longer weeping. It's be trimmed back so far that it looks a little bald. If Weeping Lego Angel was still in the mulberry it's long gone now.

09-Jul-14
Couldn't spot it. We had a look around, but no obvious spots were revealing themselves. With the large gap between last find and nowhere fitting the hint left, we decided to move on.

A phone call to the last hider suggested a typo in the coordinates. Embarassed

Last know position was in the weeping mulberry here... S36° 7.383' E144° 44.884'

I've just had a look and cannot see it in the dark. Perhaps daylight might reveal the Weeping Angel in the Weeping Mulberry. Dancing
