Description

Angel Angelus is weeping on the inside and is ready to be moved around the country.

This Angel is part of the Weeping Angel moveable cache race taking place from December 1st, 2013 until January 31st, 2014. After that date this will be a normal moveable cache. The following rules only apply during the game period.

  • Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
  • There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
  • If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
  • There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
  • Other cachers in the game will find / move your cache, but they are requested to move it on within 2 days

Angelus Weeping Angel

Logs

19-Aug-18
Angel Angelus was found at the GC Parkville Puzzle Solving event in Springvale South.
I found her on the table where nirgalagrin had left her.
She seems to be in good order. Time to get moving again.
I will find a safe haven shortly.
.
Thanks for the cache rogerw3.

This had been archived before I stumbled upon it.

Rediscovered in my caching bag while attending the Winter Puzzle Solver event, so left it on the table we were using.

Out in order to get the multi souvenir up for grabs this weekend, all other finds were a bonus.
This was a chance find while switching to another location based game for a while, and checking the GPSr, which had nicely outdated data. It was still at the last reported location but is now off on a new adventure.
(And to my shame, still in my possession too many months later... oops. I will release it to the wild soon.)

Cache appears to be MIA, so we'll archive this one to stop it showing up in the lists.

find this one while picking up some GC caches, wasn't able to find the other one that's supposed to be nearby. I'll come back another day and move it on.

And another one found. Thanks again.

Continuing on this Wattle Park cluster in the heat today, I found the cache at 14:55 following a squiz at the hint. Embarassed

I replaced the Don't Blink where I found it for those who follow to find.

TNLNSL. Thanks rogerw3.

Dropped on on a nice walk around the bush areas of Wattle Park today

18-Jan-14
After spending most of the day cleaning my old unit, I saw a nice cluster of GCA Weeping Angels (and others) not far away so detoured to collect them. The bag had water pouring out inside, but the caches appear to have survived. Angelus' bison tube has become detached (the little wire loop has gone) so I shall find a way to reattach it to prevent them becoming separated (a fate which befell another in this collection)...
