Bummer...didn't read the last log properly....it has been picked up, so no wonder it's not there now.
Hope he surfaces again soon. Thanks anyway OldSaint.....

In town for lunch and had a bit of spare time so encouraged daughter to take me for a drive to Trevallyn Reserve to pick up a couple of moveable. I directed and she retrieved. I understand the name now - leaf frog!

Gorf Fael is back out ready to play. He's near the top gates at Fern Glade
A quick find close to home. Have travelled with this froggie before and will enjoy travelling with him again now. TFTC
Gorf Fael has moved northwards and is resting close to the historical info boards near the bridge at Perth
Handed to whitewebbs to continue hopping south.
Hi Rob,
Today our mission was to find long lost Gorf Fael - travelling from Mareeba today we visited Port Douglas then onto Mossman Gorge.
The mission was not without incident. We encountered a snake on our walk in, which calmly slithered in front of us. The gorge is a beautiful place but Gorf Fael had spent a long time there 92 weeks to be exact!!!! We found the spot according to the hint and poked and prodded and were very excited to unearth him.
Will return him to colder shores this week.

After having a look around and inspecting several possible accommodation spots, Gorf decided that Mossman Gorge was the place for him. There is another cache not all that far away, so he is hopeful of being picked up again some time . . . The photo waving goodbye to Flip might have been better if the display screen of the DDTs camera had not decided to stop working (just because of a little snorkelling!) - so everything is gues work now!!
We met up with Gorf again at the birthday event and he decided that hemight like to hop off to Qld with us.
The only question that remains is what is going to happen to all these moveables? I need more.
We had not met Gorf before, so were pleased to have the opportunity to have a meal with him at haunting. Don't know where he hopped off to after that.
Met up again at the event while doing the rounds of the table. He chose to come home with us. TFTF.

This was one of many frogs bounding around the dining table during dinner tonight. I managed to grab him as he came past me and got his number. Thanks for the cache Oldsaint
I saw this frog at the "Haunting Lives" event but left it for someone else to take with them.
Can't believe it took me till just then to work out the name! Derr! Thanks Old Saint.
Out again in a break in the cold weather, but with a few friends in case we get snow !
If it did snow though, he could ski on his Fael !
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint !

I shared a caching trip up Mt Wellington with this frog and Mr red tag. A fantastic day was had by all
I wondered what the name meant getting closer to GZ - it looked a little Gaelic (but of course it wasn't ).
We nabbed this cute little fellow and kept on going - thank OldSaint !

I was somewhat underwhelmed at the prospect of looking for micro and nano frogs in the bush with no hints.
Thankfully, all three of these were hidden on obvious features, though there were other obvious features whithout frogs, so searching still took a little while.
I've got quite a collection now, so I'll have to create a frog power trail down my way.

Sorry for the delay but have been laid up with a work injury for about 6 weeks and haven't been abe to go caching. In a new home now
Taken all the frogs and a couple of gnomes for a drive up the East Coast to Scamander. They'll all be here for a little while. Don't bother looking cuz Tim Tam is going to find them all....
Found with Trust a frog and Leaps under a very large bush. Will take in the scenic route through longford to pick up another couple of frogs for the trip back to Hobart.
These frogs (and 2 gnomes) will be released back into the wild soon.

A quick wander around trevallyn dam area netted a number of frogs this morning. Tftf
One last leap for frogkind perhaps before the end of the race

Left Gorf near a highway exit for a quick pickup
Third disappointment for the day. Went for this one around lunch time only to find some muggles near GZ sitting outside their car watching me approach, so I u-turned and aborted the mission. Returned later with my partner around 6pm for another go. GPS indeed pointed to some trees but they didn't have forks in them. Except the blackened scrubby things near the ground? We searched there too, though it didn't seem the nicest hiding spot with the barbed wire and in full view of houses across the road... also searched all nearby trees with forks in them even though they were way off the coords, but still found nothing.
Out again ready to travel the North West
We were caching in the north east today. Before coming home we checked to see if there were any new caches along the way. We noticed that after a few weeks of being MIA, Gorf Fael was now out in Launceston. Thankfully he was still there when we arrived near GZ. TFTF
We sat under the nearby tree and dreamed of having one in our backyard to sit under. Alas we don't have 150 years to wait for it to grow so left the frog to enjoy instead.
Grabbed from the event. Will sit him in the sun enjoying the view (and to aid in the drying process) and will release shortly. Cheers Quilter

Repaired and returned to the wild at event
Found before last minute Christmas food shopping and after a quick trip to work to fix a few small issues. Thanks for the hide , it was a quick find, but well hidden.

What joy beyond belief when baby Fael spied his Dad. He is now very happy on his lily pad.
Reunited as per OldSaint's wish. Made a dash back to the town so they could be together at Christmas time.

FTF at 1500. Got the alert while shopping, grabbed bag of ice for the prawns and headed off for a quick find. Lovely frog. I hope to meet dad as well as tadpole maker has eluded me so far. Thanks for the frog OldSaint and have a great Christmas and new year.
