Description

Zao-Zao is a Soft Magnetic Froggy in the Leap-Frog Race!

"Zao-Zao" is Chinese Mandarin for "Morning Morning!"

Zao-Zao is a Brito-Chinese Frog from Brighton, England...

...who has relocated to Australia!

He is a Green Climbing Frog with magnetic attraction powers. So rather than trees he likes to hang around on Poles and other metal areas. His Girl-frog is Bao-Bao from Brighton, England,  and they want to try to find each other and then run away again over in Australia during the GCA Leap Frog Event. Please help him explore this big new land! England is far too cold in Winter for any self respecting Frog to call home.

If you find him, take him with you and log a "FOUND" Entry. Then find him a new home and  take the co-ordinates there and come back to log a "MOVED" entry.

Please try NOT to hide him next to existing GC.com caches so he doesnt get stolen by  mistake!

Logs

This geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it. This is done to keep the geocaching Australia clean and up to date.

If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.

Zao Zao visited a wetlands near our home.

It's been a few months since we've been here and was surprised at just how low the water was! I visited here on leap day last year and the pond was at max capacity and overflowing, but now it's almost empty.

We left Zao-Zao nearby to hopefully bring some much needed rain to this area, and see the wetlands return to a better condition.

It's been a while since we've logged a moveable cache, and as we were driving right past this froggy, decided to give him a lift. We will release him somewhere in the Southern Adelaide suburbs this week.

Thanks Zalgariath.

I found a nice cosy spot right beside a trail.

16-Dec-12
I picked up this little fellow while caching in the area.

There was a muggle walking to the lookout as I arrived and as I parked another car pulled up behind me. The beauty of moving caches is that you don't have to worry if someone is watching when you retrieve the cache.

Will have to find another spot for him.

Not where i initially intended to take this little guy but the hidey hole and view were too good to pass up. Hope he gets found soon. Cheers.

This little guy was an unexpected find enjoying himself with tye lovely river views but i will be more than happy to move him on. I know an area fairly close to me that frogs seem to pop up at quite often so might put him there so he keeps moving. TFTC! (Irony9 of ForWahls)

There were so many muggles around on a beautiful, sunny Mother's Day in the park. After reading the log we located GZ and waited for some muggles to move away as I could see something suspicious in the roots of the tree. Made a quick grab for it and off we went.

Apologies for the delay, after finding my GPS went AWOL and by the time I found it, was about to head to QLD, so thought may as well get the Kim's under this frogs belt as an apology.

Now enjoying Mooloolaba!

Dropped off near the Yarra this morning on a frog-swap operation. With the original hiding place of the two I grabbed having a syringe next to it I looked for other places to hide Leapfrogs. This one is a a little way away from the cyclenuts but not too far from the road or path/trail.

06-Jan-12
Grabbed tonight after a DNF on my latest Leapfrog nearby - I couldn't resist a couple of Leapfrogs close to home! Found after a bit of GPS dancing, and discovering several Ringtail Possums on the way, as well as a Brushtail Possum seen sillouetted by a tree in the park. A couple of chatting muggles on the park bench nearby thankfully seemed to take no notice of me passing and the (loud to me) crunching of dried leaves as I attempted a stealthy search of GZ... On the way back I passed a couple of muggles on bikes discussing the origins of life - riding in the dark, no lights. And I thought I was weird LOL! ;-P TFTLF

03-Jan-12
This was one of many frogs (as well as a few gnomes) that came along to boot Zalgariath back to Europe at ZEAMMAFF. Things were really hopping as more and more frogs arrived during the afternoon, by the time the event had finished, about 55 movables had hopped onto the table. Of course, with that many frogs hopping around in one place, something was bound to happen, and one poor gnome was bumped to the ground, requiring a trip to gnome hospital and a serious stay there, but the less said about that the better.
